LaraX Goodies

If you’re like many others in SL right now, you’re scrambling trying to clothe your brand-spanking-new LaraX body. I’ve got a couple of goodies to show you today. If you’re ever followed the FabFree chat you have probably seen the name, Rowan Carol, telling everyone about freebies and cheapies. What you might not know is that she had an in-world store for a while. She recently reopened a little rOrO! shop to showcase items that are $25L or less with some updated for LaraX. And she has a Marketplace store!

After the LaraX release, Ms. Rowan decided to play with shapes and clothing templates she found on the MP. She came out with 3 shapes for LaraX. Those are Jovan, Britta, and Heather. Then she started playing around with clothing. She came up with a feisty red tank and a set of sweater skirts. Today I am showing off the Naughty but Good at it tank top. I paired it with the sweater skirt today (it has an 8 color texture hud) and was able to match the tank top perfectly. All of these items are sized for LaraX only.

That sneaky little girl Alice conned me into painting some roses, once I agreed to take her paintbrush, a rabbit appeared quickly rushing her to do something by whispering in her ear.  I watched her pop something into her mouth and she quickly shrank to the tiniest little girl I’ve ever seen! I realized I may have picked the short stick on this one…

Before I Had My Coffee

Oh Hello There Fab Free’rs! I hope you’ve all survived the holidays so far. I for one do not want to see let alone eat another slice of pie for a very long time. Otherwise I’m doing pretty well. I picked up gifts by Vinyl from two different events that really go well together. I also picked up a pretty new group gift skin at PumeC. All in all, not a bad way to start the weekend!

Merry Christmas Malvada Mujer

Hello There Fab Free’rs! One thing I am certain to be excited about in both real and Second Life is free makeup. It does not happen nearly as often in real life, so thankfully there’s SL. La Malvada Mujer recently put out this cool glam grunge makeup applier set as a free gift for everyone. The set includes lipstick appliers with 3 iridescent color options, and tattoo/eye makeup appliers with 3 variations. There is an Omega applier and a Genus applier for both the lipstick and eye makeup/tattoo.

To best show how the makeup looks, I used the Omega appliers to apply the makeup to Pru’s Catwa Koura head in the photo on the left. The photo on the right shows Pru wearing the Genus Project Classic head and having used the Genus makeup appliers. I love this unique makeup look with the almost holographic looking lipstick, the stylized bee tattoo, and even the smudgy black eye-shadow on the lower lid. The Pumpkins Stay

Hey There Fab Free’rs! So I’ve decided I can let go of Halloween, but the pumpkins gotta stay. At least until the end of November! Especially this barbed wire pumpkin candle holder by Reka. It’s a free group gift for members of the Reka group. The Reka group is also free to join. I sometimes have a soft spot for things like barbed wire re-purposed into art and the shabby-chic aesthetic.

Speaking of shabby-chic, I think these cute potted succulents fit the description as well. I picked them up for free at the Gacha Garden event. I actually picked up quite a few fantastic free gifts at the current Gacha Garden round. There are tons! The gifts at Gacha Garden require you to wear the Gimme Gacha event group tag. This group is free to join. The succulent gift is by Your Dreams. It comes with a single plant that you can copy and modify.

Next up on my little gift grabbing adventure through the Gacha Garden, this hair. I know Juli already showed you this cute free hairstyle by Fabia in her post “Fab Mad“, but who can resist that hat?! It’s another of the free gifts and it comes in a set of red hair color choices.

Pru’s other-worldly olive colored eyes are the free Gacha Garden gift from Lotus. These eyes come in Lelutka Appliers, Catwa Appliers, and a set of mesh eyes. There are 5 beautiful pupil-less color choices.

It has been a while since Pru had multiple piercings. This piercing set by Supernatural made me wonder why it’s been so long. The set is quite pretty, and is yet another free gift at Gacha Garden. The set includes 4 piercings that can be worn separately or together. There is a full set in gold, and one in silver. A color change hud for the gemstone part of the piercings is also included.

Lastly, I know you can’t see much of it, my apologies, however the wooden coffee table everything is sitting on is also a free gift at Gacha Garden. Its by a shop called Rassuel. The table is short and rectangular, with a single shelf and square legs. It’s a great basic modern looking furniture piece.

Welcome back to the blog Fab Free’rs, and a special hello to the month of October! Sings “It’s the most wonderful time of the year…” Honestly, October is my December, and Halloween is my Christmas. Alright, I won’t subject you to any more of the thought of me singing, but I am still excited about the group gifts from Safira and HEC I have to share with you.
