The Annex Sale and Group Gifts

The Annex is having a sale!

A HUGE sale I might add, and it ends tonight! So hurry hurry over there before then because every single piece is on sale for only L$50 and fatpacks are L$125! Annnd they have loads of group gifts, so I decided to show you some from both. I love that The Annex offers lots of cute, well made, modest clothing. That can be hard to find in SL these days. • First up is this pretty little white top and denim skirt. I added the necklace as well that I bought on sale. The top is a FREE group gift fatpack and comes in 12 colors. The denim skirt is part of the sale and I bought the fatpack, which has 7 colors. Both fit Freya, Hourglass and Maitreya bodies. The choker is part of the sale and is unrigged. It includes a color change HUD.
• In the center we have one of my most favorite outfits I bought. The top has flamingos on it! It is part of the sale. The shorts are as well and both fit the same bodies: Freya, Hourglass and Maitreya.
• The last photo is just cozy. Its a comfy pair of capris that are a FREE group gift and come in a fatpack of 10 colors. The slouchy tunic/dress is on the sale. Both fit the same bodies as above: Freya, Hourglass and Maitreya.

Alice Klinger of Alli&Ali Designs releases the most beautiful, extensive list of hair texture options I have ever seen! Seriously, the choices are endless and sure to fit any mood you are in. The group gifts she offers give you a taste of those options and the hair I’m showing you today is Beth, the current (through August) FabFree gift from Alli&Ali. Hey gang!

So sometimes you just want to feel like a Goddess.  Like you just came down to the ruins of the ancient world and have to power to make it all beautiful again.  Sometimes you simply find a dress that makes you *feel* like a goddess.  And sometimes, just sometimes…. that dress is free.  And you do a mad happy dance cause now you feel like a freaking goddess and it didn’t even cost you anything!  And then you start a lot of sentences with “and” even though you know you aren’t really supposed to but you feel like such a rebel and you really don’t care cause you are too busy happy dancing….  and then you think you need to come up for air, stop babbling like a lunatic (its a hobby) and tell everyone else how they too can feel like said goddess, for freaking free!

The Naughty Housewife

Ladies.  It’s confession time.  I “may” have gone a little nuts at the Dubai Event.  Most stands have a 49L sale item, and, well, I just couldn’t help myself.  There were soooo many cool items to chat about, but I have to focus on just a few.  I found this cute little 49L dress called Callie from Rainn and simple sweet Sherri heels (also 49L) from Tantrum.

The cute little retro dress only comes in this color, but I love Tiffany blue, so I liked it right away.  The shoes…oh Ladies…the SHOES!  The HUD has all KINDS of colors and three areas to choose what you want.  They are simple yet pretty and go with any outfit you might have stashed away.

As I was putting together this outfit with the 49L pose set called “This Beautiful Life” from West End, I totally got the “naughty housewife” vibe…I mean, I DID just spend, um, a lot, on makeup, shoes, clothes and, well, if I were a wife, I’d definitely be a naughty one!

I love love love weddings.  If you’ve read some of my previous posts like this one, you know I am always trying to help a girl say YES to a cheap dress!!!  And, who knows, one of these days Angus might even propose!  He definitely gets a lot of practice suiting up in his tux!

I was on my weekend rounds looking for EVEN MORE lipstick.  I mean, really, how much virtual lipstick can a girl use???  But, I also had a hankering for a wedding dress that is affordable.  All those Valentine Proposals are nearing fruition, right?  I can’t let you girls hang!  I couldn’t find anything affordable, so I went on over to Marketplace and on my FIRST TRY found this amazing Nia gown from Tiffany Designs for just 45L!

I love that the flexi is optional.  I loved the little shoulder sparkly veil thing, but maybe that’s not your thang.  No worries!  Just detach.  Don’t want the added sparkly train?  Only want it on one side?  Want all the sparkles for your service but not the reception?  NO WORRIES!  Detach, attach, whatever your heart wants!

Flower Shower!

I love me a good fashion event in SL.  I love them more when gifts or dollarbies are a part of it!!!  The TWE12VE Event is one of my favorite.  Great designers and really nice 12L dollarbies & even a freebie!!!  I picked up this adorable “Lucky” dress from Shanti just in time for St. Patty’s Day (free gift, no group required), and these adorable Origami earrings from LooLoo & The Platypus to match.  The earrings come in gold, silver, and variations of color with those metals.  For 12L, you can’t go wrong! Twe12ve is running until March 31st.

The Band is Back Together!

The Band is back together!!!  The Fab Four rock band, “The Blogger Babes,” got back the band back together in true Blues Brothers (Sisters!) style to check out this sweet new background from Something New!  Called “All Girl Band,” this fun pose set can be found at the Cheeky Wow Event for 200L. While you are there, pick up their 10L pose, “Tune My Piano.”  There are four OTHER musical poses (singles and couples with fancy musical props!!) in the stand ranging from 50L -100L.  These deals are DEFINITELY worth a road trip.  Caroline, Arielle, Juli and I had a blast playing with the poses and adding props!
