The Genus Project made their return last week after being on a long hiatus. They have spent the last week updating the back catalogue of Genus Project heads, which if you have previously purchased can be redelivered at their main store. In the last 48 hours they have also updated their previous freegroup gift head!
A Little Something To Call Her Own
The Genus Projectfree group gift head, “Genus Head – Strong Face W003”, has been updated to include all new features. From here on out the head will support the default SLUV BOM and its own unique 4K UV. As all past Genus skins used the default SLUV, any you may already own should still fit right off the bat. Both appliers and BOM will work with this new update. Just make sure you choose Regular BOM on the HUD.
There is a new HUD with an all new layout, which I find a lot easier to use than the last one. If you are a little lost, there is a wearable manual that will guide you through all the new features.
Included with the head are packs of skins and make up which have both regular BOM and 4K BOM layers. The skins are made to match the Velour skin tones. There are heaps of options inside for eyeshadow, eyeliners, lipsticks, hairbases and more!
By The Light There Still Goes Miranda
Also available as a free group gift from the Genus Project, is the Miranda skin. This includes both regular BOM and 4K BOM layers and comes in the Velour tone Porcelain. It has a brow and no brow option. I’m wearing it in the picture with one of the lipsticks that was included with the head package.

I was really amazed by how many items are included in this free set, and the items are so gorgeously textured and detailed. This is the perfect gift to bring in summer this year!
