This picture is so quintessentially vibe for an early summer day such as today. I’ve got that just slightly dazed look that comes with Friday late afternoon, after surviving an entire workweek of madness. There’s summer warmth on my shoulders in the most perfectly sweet floral top. And I’ve got a slushie! But not just any slushie, the ones where you get a little bit of each flavor until it’s oozing out of the top and they all melt together into that sweet, sweet summertime nectar. Yeah, it’s a whole mood.

Key’s In The Conch Shell

I’ve got a mix of free gifts, cheap gifts and 50L deals to show you today Fabs, all from the Conch Island Festival!  Of course this festival is near and dear to my heart, my favorite place in the world is Key West, which attempted to secede the U.S. as the Conch Republic.  It’s the only thing about Florida I truly love 😉

This year’s Conch Island Festival is a mix of beachy, underwater, mermaid stuffs, and prehistoric stuffs, because the conch has been around that long too 😉  It’s a music festival, with multiple stages, awesome activities, and of course, some shopping.  I noticed a few gifts when I was there, and also 50L deals and exclusives.  First, some of the gifts – there’s a few more that I’m not showing :

The more difficult to see is my pose/animation.  This is the Oceans Daughter AO I bought for 50L and it’s a swimming/floating animation, hence why my picture is underwater! (Although there’s quite a few shark shadows around, yikes!)

There’s a lot to do and see here, I just noticed I missed a particle show from my friend Kaly at Alchemy too.  Check out all the events!  The Conch Island Fetival is open until May 25th.

Oh, I do want to mention my bikini, because although it’s not free, it’s a major deal.  The Rameria bikini is from Telsiope’s Couture, and is only 99L.  It’s my only bikini sized for Lara X and …… get this ……. it has like 100 textures.  There’s 5 texture huds for the top and bottom, and each texture hud has 2 pages.  Woah.  I guess it’s the only one I really need 😉   Anyway it’s swim season and everyone needs a bikini, so I didn’t want to NOT mention it even if it’s a little above our blogging price range.

That’s The Tea

Today I am desperate for those early morning vacation vibes. You know the ones, you wake up early and no one else is up yet. You miraculously manage to sneak out without a kid even waking up and insisting to come along. Out the door with your morning beverage of choice, you walk the block or two to the beach (because this is RL and who wants to pay beachfront prices). The tide is up and there’s no one in sight except maybe a beach jogger way out in the distance. It’s just the sea breeze in your face and the pleasant warmth of what promises to be a scorchingly perfect day later on. Yup, that is what I need right now.

Dressed For A Daydream

I’m wearing two items that perfectly fit into my little daydream there. The first is my cute and comfy TEA shirt which I love because of all of those reasons but also because I laugh at silly puns. I picked it up at Tea Lane among the sweet little selection of free gifts there, which require no group join. It’s just free Tea, that’s the tea.
