I just couldn’t pass up blogging this one, Fabbies.  A week or two ago I blogged the gorgeous and colorful robe I picked up at We ♥ RP and this week I’m back with more color.  Some people really adore dressing in black every day (you know who you are) but I really, really love color.  Pride is coming up soon too, and all the June posts will be full of color, so let’s get prepared, shall we?

I really do consider myself quite a casual type of gal.  Although I really adore high fashion, it’s outside of my wheelhouse to look glam and fancy often, but there are times that call for it, and a gorgeous group gift is one of those times!

Who knew that I needed something with purple and gold? Those are the colors for Louisiana State University. When you grow up in South Louisiana you become a LSU Tigers fan. I decided to look for the mascot, Mike the Tiger. Little did I know that he is on a little vacay. Someone said to search the swamps because he loves it there. So yeah, I found a swamp to look for him. I’m still searching. I don’t think he wants to be bothered while on his swampy vacay.

Today, I’m showing off the latest group gift from Ewa Boutique. It was delivered in group notices to celebrate reaching a total of 15,000 members. This darling little dress has a hud full of shiny vibrant colors to choose from. It’s a great dress for clubbing or partying. It’s short so make sure you wear something to cover your goodies. A few weeks ago in chat, Em posted about a freebie shop called Charm, that she saw on a Japanese blog.  She said it was full of the kind of colorful, funky clothing that I adore, so of course I went right over.  There are freebies all over the place, all different designs and textures, and sized for Maitreya, Legacy and Reborn.

The clothing is organized by sizes on the wall, but I picked up both the Maitreya and Legacy to see which one works best on my Lara X.  I loved this sleeveless top with the lemon texture and was stoked because I had a cute lemon bag in my inventory just waiting for the right outfit to be blogged.

Pop over to Charm and take your pick of everything, it’s all free!  Most of it is touch and it delivers, although some pieces you may have to buy for 0L.

Pucker Up Buttercup!

Lemon top with a lemon bag and lemon earrings, where’s that vodka again?  I had picked this bag up a while back on Marketplace by micamee.  The Citrus bag is a package of 3 bags, lemon, lime and orange, and you get all 3 bags for 10L.  Cute cross body design, it’s unrigged to make sure you can adjust it to your body shape.

Since I had all this lemony goodness, I decided to look for a pair of earrings to match, and found these Fruity Earrings by [Real*Kira] on Marketplace.  They were 5L and the perfect addition to my outfit.

You really can find almost anything on MP if you look well enough.  It’s fun to shop in-world, but it would have been impossible for me to find something so specialized without looking on MP first 😉  I am forever, and will always be a champion of a search box feature. lol

Well, let’s put another bikini into my collection!  By the end of summer, I should be able to sew them altogether and make a quilt for the winter (you know, if I knew how to sew, and it ever got cold enough to use one lol).

One of my favorite days in Second Life is any day that Tentacio changes her lucky boards, and the other day was that day!  This adorable visor, with glasses and flowers is one of the free prizes on her lucky boards, which don’t need any group tag to play.    This is an unrigged version that comes with and without flowers, and was an adorable addition to my new bikini.  While you wait for your letter to come up, check out all her adorable items.  I got these sandals in the Happy Weekend sale this past weekend too.

The latest group gift from Alma Miranda is this cute three piece outfit. It doesn’t have its’ own name but I don’t care cause it’s really cute & comfy. The outfit consists of the top, skirt, and a “V-zone cover”. I’ve never heard the term V-zone cover but it is simply a crotch cover/sort of panty. The texture you see here is what you get. I love it because it’s a playful one. The mushrooms are too cute! Hmm, maybe I should be out foraging today.

Wellllllllll, you all thought you may have caught me, but I made my great escape!  I haven’t lived this long without picking up some very clever tricks along the way 😉  and maybe a mean right hook.

Jailbird?

So, this outfit isn’t really a prison outfit, but I’ve mentioned before how much I love stripes, and these stripes were one of the textures in the hud, and here we are.  This outfit, the Onix set, is a group gift from Soliac.  It’s a sweat suit of sorts, with a corset. A full fatpack for the top/pants/corset too.   Fashion is a product of one’s creativity after all!  No group is needed for this gift, but it will cost you 1L to pick up 😉  Now I want you to listen very carefully to what I say here:  *DO NOT CLICK AND BUY THE JEWELRY*  For some reason it’s got some crazy 7949L price attached to it, and I know we get click happy, so be very VERY careful when buying these gifts.  There’s also tattoos on the wall, these are each 200L.  The ONLY gifts that are dollarbies are the 3 outfits on the wall.  That being said, it comes in these sizes:

I accessorized this outfit with some tattoos I picked up at Vezzo Ink.  I don’t fully recall if this was one of the group gifts (there are many) or if I won this from the MM boards (there are 3) but you need to join the free group for both the gifts and the boards.  The tattoos come with appliers and BOM in 3 different transparencies.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a big jailbreak without some damage, so I roughed myself up a bit with some of the free gifts on Izzie’s gift wall.  This Bloody Nose (right or left) and Little Scratches are both free gifts, for both SLUV and EvoX.  You can find them on the backside of the wall, behind the desk, with the other freebies.

Key’s In The Conch Shell

I’ve got a mix of free gifts, cheap gifts and 50L deals to show you today Fabs, all from the Conch Island Festival!  Of course this festival is near and dear to my heart, my favorite place in the world is Key West, which attempted to secede the U.S. as the Conch Republic.  It’s the only thing about Florida I truly love 😉

This year’s Conch Island Festival is a mix of beachy, underwater, mermaid stuffs, and prehistoric stuffs, because the conch has been around that long too 😉  It’s a music festival, with multiple stages, awesome activities, and of course, some shopping.  I noticed a few gifts when I was there, and also 50L deals and exclusives.  First, some of the gifts – there’s a few more that I’m not showing :

Oh, I do want to mention my bikini, because although it’s not free, it’s a major deal.  The Rameria bikini is from Telsiope’s Couture, and is only 99L.  It’s my only bikini sized for Lara X and …… get this ……. it has like 100 textures.  There’s 5 texture huds for the top and bottom, and each texture hud has 2 pages.  Woah.  I guess it’s the only one I really need 😉   Anyway it’s swim season and everyone needs a bikini, so I didn’t want to NOT mention it even if it’s a little above our blogging price range.
