Another year gone…

Well, the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt is about to end in just a few days. I am showing off some of the most beautiful prizes from the hunt in this final post. Sometimes I save the best for last! My entire outfit comes from Meander/Me. The whole set is packed into 3 prize boxes.

• In the first box, you get a pretty jewelery set which consists of a large shamrock necklace and clover gold earrings with emerald jewels. This prize box costs 3L on the hunt.
• In the second box, you will find a beautiful green and gold Renaissance gown. It fits Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Venus, Isis, Freya, and Tonic Curvy & Fine. This box also includes a beautiful green and gold floral headpiece. The second prize box costs 3 Lindens.
• In the third box, for only 1 Linden, you get a pair of fantasy shoes and a green beer tankard with a hat and clovers on top of it. I also discovered that there is a pose gift included in the prize as well, but you need to rez the gift to open up the pose. I am not wearing the pose here, but it’s a “princess pose” and I was happy to find it hidden in the box!

I Will Remember You

I have been routinely checking what is going on at Free Dove… I got some inside intel that the store will remain up “about another month” until it poofs. However, I suggest you go as soon as possible because you never know when it will be formally taken down, and they have some brand new gifts out at Free Dove since I last posted about the freebie outlet. Just join the Free Dove group for free to get the gifts. I just had to share these two gifts because they are stunning…

• E.D.D.A. has set out a brand new gift for us in their designer booth. The gift is a fancy top & plaid skirt in green, perfect for the month of March. The set fits Legacy, Reborn, Kupra, Isis, Freya and Lara.
• Spells & Charms to Go has set out a new free gift which you can grab near the front of the store near where Tastic has the memorial tops set out, which Aline previously blogged right here. This new gift is a beautiful necklace dedicated to remembering Free Dove. The necklace comes in gold and silver and it’s a must-have for your inventory.

I am still sad to see this place go, but what a wonderful way to remember the amazing contributions Free Dove made to Second Life in the last 17 years.

Free As A Dove

Hey FabFree! I am hanging out at Sunflower Park, and remembering Free Dove once again. I didn’t blog Free Dove gifts very much in the past, so I have been trying my best to show my support for this fantastic freebie community before it’s too late. Doves symbolize peace and freedom, so may she fly free as a dove and rest in peace. 🕊️

• The see-through BOM top and undies are a free gift from Alaskametro. These BOM pieces can be worn separately as an outfit (as a bikini swimsuit), but I choose to wear them underneath some mesh clothing to create a unique look.

Hey Fabs! Today I put together a casual look with a bit of spookiness thrown into the mix. It just goes to show that you can show off your love for all things spooky without going into full costume mode.

The Bold Llama has some awesome tops out for 20L a piece on the ATCSL Kink or Treat Hunt. Note that there are a number of adult-related hunt prizes on this hunt hosted on the Short Leash sim, so be aware of that before visiting this event as it is an adult sim. The theme of the hunt is another Halloween Hunt. The offering from The Bold Llama is 5 Tees, which each have a fun spooky print on them for 20L per prize. Another Halloween Hunt I have to report about today is the Haunted Hunt @ Malus Park. You will find a few designers have set put hunt prizes around the Malus Park sim that each cost between 0 and 20L. I am featuring some of the prizes from Starlight Apparel in my look today, which cost 20L each. From them, I am featuring:

• Another edition of the Parris Sneakers in the “Boo” pattern, which is adorned with ghosts, pumpkins, and bats. These shoes are fitted for Belleza, Maitreya, Legacy, Star, Reborn, Kupra and Slink.
• The bone necklace, which comes in rainbow colours and black chains, is another hunt prize sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBODY Classic & Curvy, Tonic Curvy & Fine, Physique, Hourglass, Lara, and Legacy.

The last gift I have to share in my post tonight is this fabulous hairstyle from TRUTH. This is another gift from their past group gifts. I’ve been pumping up the Halloween vibes at home by watching lots of scary movies, and I just can’t wait to dig into the scary and cute Halloween items this year! In today’s post, I’m showing some adorable spooky items, so take a peek in the credits to get all the details after you have finished reading about all the great freebies and deals shown in my look today. 

All About Bats

The cute little bat necklace I have on only costs 10L in Poeme’s booth at the Into The Woods Cart Sale & Hunt. I just had to have it because it was too cute. This little accessory will go well with any Halloween outfit you have picked out for this season. The bat on the pendant is black, and the necklace is silver. There are lots of other free gifts and 2L hunt prizes at this event, so go check it out. This event closes on October 31st, so you have quite a bit of time to do it still!

The Doe Street Sale Rages On!

Another great find I have to show today is a great hairstyle from Doe. This one is called “Autumn” and I’m in love with it. It includes a stylish fall hat, and there are fallen leaves on the hair as well. You can colour the hat and the leaves to different colours using the accessory HUD included with the style. I got the “flux” version of this hair, which includes several natural colour options with highlights. There is a tint hud included with the hairstyle as well, which I used to tint my hair a bit more red. This hairstyle only costs 75L on the Doe Street Sale. Adalynn first blogged all about the sale here, so please read her post for details.

A Little Fun From Alaskametro

I’m loving the deals I found at the Spoonful of Sugar Festival, and I was delighted to see that Alaskametro has a 10L item out at their booth at the event. It’s inside the coconut.  100% of the donations for this item are given to Doctors Without Borders. This nail applier set includes a hud of tropical colours. I will admit that Aline’s love for Alaskametro’s products has totally worn off on me. There are so many shades and designs included in this set! Did you know that even if you use a BOM avatar you can wear omega nails if you have the omega kit installed in your body? They are so cool and I always enjoy using omega nails because they are easy to apply and use- they just apply onto the nails on your body. The Spoonful of Sugar Festival ends on September 18th, so you only have a couple of days left to grab this great nail set for only 10L.
