I sometimes have a habit of daydreaming, especially if I am near a window with even a somewhat interesting view. I don’t see it as a negative thing. Still, I’ll admit I sometimes find myself daydreaming when I should be doing other things. Today however, I have plenty to keep me busy. Sometimes everyone needs to take a moment and just bask in the quiet. I took some needed time to be alone, be silent, and quiet my mind. Doesn’t this little owl planter by Ariskea look like it was made to go with the SL16B gift by Peaches? I think it definitely does. This adorable owl comes exactly as shown and is copy, mod, no transfer. You can get yours for free at the Ariskea shop on the SL16B Aurelian region.
Pears are possibly my favorite fruit. This delicious looking plate of pears is the free SL16B gift by Libertine. Along with these perfectly plated pears, the Libertine gift includes a broken plate version with scattered berries and chocolates, and a little note. Come skate with me Fab Free! It’s always sunny in Second Life, so why not take advantage of the never-ending sunshine and cruise around the boardwalk while listening to some tunes. This cute roller girl look is made up almost entirely of free or inexpensive items, including the free-for-everyone bikini gift at Glitzz.
The month of June may be close to an end, but Pride is always. Needless to say I was excited to find this cute rainbow bikini for free at Glitzz, no group needed. It comes in a handful of sizes and includes a hud to change the metal bits that are part of the ties. To get your copy of this free gift, head over to Glitzz and find the gift vendor near the back of the store.
The blue striped knee socks are a dollarbie Marketplace find by a store called *1* Tsutsujiya Overknee World. They come in a classic system layer, an Omega applier, and a Maitreya applier.
Finally, these cute skates are another Marketplace find. I’d tell you the store name, but there doesn’t appear to be one. One quick side note, I think it’s worth mentioning that the creator’s profile is now completely blank. That said, these skates are just 49 linden on the Marketplace. Also, there are a few other versions for the same price. These skates come with resize scripts and have a skate AO that takes over when you walk or run. I did have to turn my regular AO off to have the skate animation work properly.

There are some fashion items that though they speak of another decade, they are timeless. I feel that way about dresses with peter-pan collars. Needless to say, I had to show this dress by Fashionably Dead. It’s their free gift in celebration of Second Life’s 16th Birthday. I think it happens to go perfectly with Lamb’s gift hairstyle for SL16B, and the gift set of pastel lip colors Alaskametro has out as their free SL16B gift. I felt like a 1960s fashion model with a modern edge. Keep reading for more info on each of these fantastic freebies.
I really love this free SL16B gift dress by Fashionably Dead. It comes in a wide range of solid colors, and has a girlish but still grown up look to it. Welcome to the blog Fab Free! It was a warm bright sunny day for me in Second Life today, and I felt every bit a proper pinup girl at the beach. To get the look I had some help from a few of the many free gifts in the shopping regions of the Second Life 16th Birthday event. I picked up what felt like a metric ton of freebies, however for this post I want to share with you the SL16B gifts by Narcisse, ICONIC, and Pyscho Byts.
First, the bright red polka dotted monokini is the SL16B gift by Narcisse. It comes in this single color, and is fit for Maitreya Lara only. To get yours, all you need to do is head over to the Narcisse shop in the SL16B Aurelian region and pick it up for free.
Next up, the long side swept hairstyle is the free SL16B gift by ICONIC. It comes in a fatpack of colors, and has a style hud that lets you flip the hair so it’s either over the left shoulder or the right. You’ll find it waiting for free at the ICONIC shop in SL16B’s Tinseled Region.
Finally, the reason for the trio of photos is to show you 3 of the 6 static poses in the “Lili” pose set by Psycho Byts. Each of the six poses is in what I would call a pinup style.
