Wishing for Winter

It’s the time of year in my world physical and virtual that I start to wish for snow. Perhaps because I almost never get to experience temperatures cold enough for snow where I live, I find that I long for that story-book white snowy winter. I am also so ready to break out the winter wardrobe. Thank goodness Second Life has me covered, here I get my snow, and a pretty stellar closet full of winter clothing. Speaking of clothing, this outfit is the most recent group gift at Vooh.

Vooh

There are actually several group gifts available at Vooh, Group Gift 76 is the most recent. I really like the look of this all-in-one outfit. The jacket, sweater dress, and undershirt are all one piece. I love that it makes me appear as though my hands are tucked warm into my pockets. Also, the outfit includes matching boots, and a beret (not worn). The jacket/sweater dress combo has a color change hud with several solid color options for the main part of the jacket, the dress, the undershirt, as well as the metal parts of the jacket. Additionally the hud will allow you to tint each part, and adjust things like glow and materials. The boots and beret have their own similar customization huds with matching color choices. The required Vooh store group has a join fee of 50 linden, which if you ask me is well worth it.

I have been wearing this dress from Gawk! for a few days now. It’s so cute on, I don’t want to take it off. It’s their most recent group gift. I love the paisley print, and the muted fall colors. Become the Druid Wizard

It was like a whisper or was it just the wind. The voice I just heard, murmur in my ear. I continued working, finally after a long day, I retired to my bed. Was awoken from such a vivid dream. As my eyes opened the dream faded, all but a feeling, then the voice again. “You will embark on a journey across the grid. To find the pieces you need to become the Druid Wizard I seek.” I shook my head then fell fast asleep. I rose the next morning thinking nothing of my dream the night before. Again the voice whispered in my ear. “To Kitty Creations you must go, quickly you must embark on the journey. For in a fortnight’s time I will need you. Look upon the floor and follow the silver gargoyle tracks. They will lead thy to what it is you seek. A miniature charred looking gargoyle which holds your gift.”
Once I found my gift I went to open it. The voice told me nay, you need to find all the piece before you can open the gifts. Off to Lindy the voice sent me to look upon the The Renaissance Hunt poster for the mini gargoyle that harbored my hint. I traveled the grid scaling mountains, across lakes, over vast sims, large oceans, and treacherous passes. To Simply Shelby, Delightful Creations, and Sweet Revolutions. Finally my journey was nearing it’s end. I had gathered all the pieces to which I was sent to find. I opened them in order from the first found to the last.
I donned the leather red hooded jacket and black pants from Kitty Creations. Pulled on the worn red leather Druda shoes from Lindy. I yielded the crystal wizard staff from Simply Shelby. Before I could open the others I was told to enter the dark woods. Travel through them until I saw the mystic fog. Was to follow it, where I came upon a druid rock circle. There I opened my last to gifts. The Spinning Pentagram from Delightful Creations and the Magical Crystal Of Lunimba from Sweet Revolutions.
They seemed to both spring from the boxes and move magically into place at the center of the stone circle. I was drawn onto the pentagram near the Crystal of Lunimba. I held up the staff and my hand. Before I knew it I was chanting the crystal was glowing and magical sparks filled the air. Swirling around me zodiac rune symbols appeared. Out of thin air a mystical pentagram formed in my hand. I had finally become the Druid Wizard to which the voice sought.

You too can embark on your own journey finding magical items of Witches, Wisewomen, and Wizards. That is the theme of this years The Renaissance Hunt X. Have Big Floppy Hat Will Travel

Hello and happy weekend Fab Free’rs! Blue and I have once again gone on weekend getaway. This time it’s celebration of our recent engagement. Needless to say I’m beyond excited. While he checked things with our Uber driver, I double checked our list and made sure we didn’t forget to pack anything.

All three shops have free hunt prizes hidden all over inside stores and surrounding grounds. There are 12 free prizes, and several decoys. On this hunt you’ll find shoes, outfits, dresses, and more for your summer wardrobe. The hunt runs from now until August 12th.

My t-shirt, jean skirt, and dino sneakers are all free hunt gifts by Elusive. These gifts are hidden in angry looking little turtles that seem to be sulking in various spots inside and outside the shops. Be prepared to look high and low, indoors and outdoors, and watch out for those decoys!

Fab Free Designer Friday 2.0 – Kara Baby

Happy Friday Fab Free’rs! I hope everyone is gearing up for a wonderful weekend. For this edition of Fab Free Designer Friday I have the pleasure of introducing or perhaps reintroducing Kara Baby. Kara Baby is a ladies clothing boutique that is ultra feminine and very flirty in style. What’s the saying? “Sugar and spice and everything nice…” that’s what Kara Baby made of! Here you’ll find lots of skirts and dresses, along with shoes, applier clothing, and a little bit of lingerie. I also spied a couple of bento nail sets, so be sure to really look around when shopping at Kara Baby.

There’s a second floor to Kara Baby where you can find some discounted items, and a room full of Slink shoes! Also, almost all the vendors are setup with easy redelivery and gifting abilities that make shopping easy. Before I forget, I want to mention that you can pick up several of the Omega Relay systems for your Omega compatible body parts at Kara Baby as well. Soak Up the Sun

Hi Fab Free! I don’t think I’m quite ready to head out to the beaches, but my backyard basin will do me fine. The weather is nice, and I need some sunshine. Calling all my goth, grunge, punk rock, pinup girls. The current 7 Seas Fishing outfit at Sn@tch is a must have. The “She’s a Rebel” set has 21 pieces in total. There are cute ruffled bikinis in several colors/patterns, shoes, jewelry, a tattoo, hair, and the skull print slip cover/dress. A Summertime Nude

Hello Fab Free! Thank you for being here. I’ve got a sultry little group gift dress to share with you from Beautiful Hustler. I should point out that there needs to be an emphasis on the word little. I’ll include the ad for the dress so that you can see the slightly scandalous low cut to the back of the dress. Also, I think the nude shade of the dress is quite soft and feminine.
