The other day, I blogged about the Madpea hunt, and I’ve often said I really enjoy them because they take me to places on the grid I’ve never seen. One of my stops on that hunt was to .E l e i. and I found a whole bunch of gifts on the wall, and the group is free. I used those gifts to accessorize my gown. My eye shadow, lipstick and pearl choker were all gifts I found there. The eye make up comes in BOM for Genus only and in appliers for Evo X and Genus. MetaHumano was a new to me skin store I learned about over the holidays when Lelutka did their 12 days of Christmas gifting event. I’ve been in the group ever since, but admittedly hadn’t tried their group gift skin until now. Crazy old me, cuz this skin is fantastic. The Pablo skin has some Hispanic flair, as does the facial hair I’m wearing that’s included with the gift, but as you can see, I could also be very Roman, just look at that nose 😉 MetaHumano is free to join and they make female skin as well, and there’s a group gift available for each body type right now.
I didn’t stop there, though. I was helping someone in chat find some free hairbases and came across the motherload, and some of them can be used with female bodies also. I added these cute and free little sunglasses I found this past weekend at Boutique #187. I had popped over to buy something I found in a weekend sale and there were 3 lucky boards staring at me. The completely gorgeous jewelry is a free group gift from no.match. I know it’s newish because it’s in the “latest group gift” section near the landing point. It includes the earrings and the thing I’m wearing on my head, which I’ve dubbed a forehead necklace. I’ve got a mix of free gifts, cheap gifts and 50L deals to show you today Fabs, all from the Conch Island Festival! Of course this festival is near and dear to my heart, my favorite place in the world is Key West, which attempted to secede the U.S. as the Conch Republic. It’s the only thing about Florida I truly love 😉
This year’s Conch Island Festival is a mix of beachy, underwater, mermaid stuffs, and prehistoric stuffs, because the conch has been around that long too 😉 It’s a music festival, with multiple stages, awesome activities, and of course, some shopping. I noticed a few gifts when I was there, and also 50L deals and exclusives. First, some of the gifts – there’s a few more that I’m not showing :

I guess it’s the only one I really need 😉 Anyway it’s swim season and everyone needs a bikini, so I didn’t want to NOT mention it even if it’s a little above our blogging price range.

I did my best, to make the same face that’s on my dress for this post, but all heads have limits, or my inventory doesn’t own a more expressive facial hud 😛 Nonetheless, I loved this texture on this dress, and wanted to show it to you.
A couple of weeks ago, Cre showed you a free dress that Tiffany Designs had in their store HERE, and they also have it on MP. Sometimes I’m just plain lazy and I’d rather buy it for 1L on Marketplace than to TP to the store to get it, but when I went on Marketplace, I found this Riona dress from Tiffany Designs I liked just as much, so I bought it to blog it! Mostly I loved the Pop Art texture, and most of all, I loved that the separate mesh bows perfectly aligned with the head on the dress. It’s the little things, sometimes, right?
