Let’s Get Sunburned in Sicily

I worked so hard for my first post that I decided I needed to take a vacation.  😛

Jokes aside,  where I live it keeps raining and raining every day, that I am eagerly waiting for some sunny days and warm breeze! It’s about time!

The other day I was shopping at Chain and noticed the warm ambiance that guided me to a hidden oasis that reminded me so much of Sicily where you can find these little spots and just lay down your towel and swim on the warm sea, get a tan and relax without being overwhelmed by tourists, just a few locals that will smile at you and even offer you their umbrella if they see you frying too much under the sun, lol.  I felt nostalgia so immediately I knew that I had to make a post in this place to, at least virtually, enjoy that wonderful sun that yells “summertime”.

What to Wear?

As soon as I decided to get a bikini, I knew who I had to ask for advice, the specialist, the person who has a sunny beach in her heart: our lovely Beachy who guided me to this perfect one piece from Bombshell that comes in several colors with and without the strips. The hat! the hat started everything I promise! I love hats in RL I try to use them with my outfits as soon as possible so when I saw this hat as a dollarbie at Ghee, I was in awe. They have a lot of dollarbies under their desk (I know, maybe I shouldn’t be zooming inside their desk) but hey, at least I found all the goodies! They also have a lot of group gifts, the group is paid and I was very tempted to join but I have too many that I paid for! so I have to carefully think about which one to leave. Yes, I’ve reached that point.

Whenever I am on vacation I take my accessories with me, but I try not to pack some expensive piece of jewelry as it’s almost sure that I will be losing it or misplacing it. So I take bijouterie that is made to wear during that vacation or I even buy myself some cute souvenir from the spot, these necklaces reminded me of those necklaces that people offer me and I sometimes end up buying. The green crystal gem is from Asteroidbox, its a group gift and the group is 75L to join.

OMG the hair!

The hair in SL is not messy as it gets with the salty water, sun, sand and everyday shampoo as it gets in RL but my problem was finding a hair that would fit inside my hat lol so I finally came across one of the group gifts from KUNI. The group here is free to join as well.

Is That You, Lilith?

Uhh I am a bit nervous but more than anything excited to start this journey!

As an icebreaker, I have to mention that I am a slow fashion preacher in RL. So, in SL I also have the habit of diving through and using things that I collected in the past and are still sitting in my inventory. Not sexy, I know, but in my defense, I’ll say that it helps me cultivate a style that mixes the good classics and the trendy items that are hot right now while allowing me to rediscover creators and places that aren’t as visited as the usual “hotspots” of SL.

So, if you see me wearing something from 2021, please forgive me, I promise the items (or store) will be worthy!

Heyya Fab Fam! I guess we made it to another Friday night! And there’s the weekend peeking around the corner. Ms Aline showed you this sexy spooky outfit here and like Aline, I’ve been hunting the ghosties too. I haven’t found any freebies but 25L for a great gift ain’t too bad. 

I dropped 75L on this awesome sexy set from Antaya which makes all three pieces come in under our limit. Pretty Festive for a Monday

Lovely and Sharp

Hey Fab Fam! Halloween is creeping closer and I’m feelin extra spooky today. Maybe it’s because I spent some time in hell.  Well… Hell Town2 anyway.

Evil Bunny Productions has brought back the Hell Town Event and hidden a ton of pumpkins full of specials all over. As you enter the town you’ll see a bunch of vender boards with each designers specials. Some are even free! But most are 25L or less.

My oh so scary look tonight is from Lovely Sweet and is hidden in 3 pumpkins priced at 25L each. I’m showing the “Cat Scratch Fever” eyes, the “Cat Scratch Fever” make up and the “My Ombre Gothy” lipstick.  The eyes come with 4 colors in BoM, Lelutka HUD and an Omega HUD.  The make up comes in BoM with a light version and a dark version. A little Halloween Fun

Hey FabFam, I hope you’re having a very happy Monday! I’ve had a great day myself, fun times unpacking then ended up the day having dinner with my BFF, Echo. Some days you just need your girl friends to make everything right! 

Then I had a relaxing evening just wandering the Shop and Hop. Have you been yet? They really knocked it out of the park with the decorating for our Halloween this year. Even if it wasn’t loaded with fabulous free gifts, it’d be a must-see! But, hey… freebies, right?  Like this super cute top and skirt from Candy Kitten. 

This is the ” Halloween Fun” outfit and it’s the completely free gift at the Shop and Hop.  I am so in love with the little sweater, the designs are so great. You get a HUD with 10 Halloween prints and 10 solid colors for the sweater.  Plus you can change the color of the straps and the skirt. So this certainly be in your year round wardrobe, not just Halloween.

The one drawback is the skirt is hiked way up in the back so your cheeks are on full display. I have a pair of applier shorts I plan to wear with it on a day to day basis cause… I’m not that sassy. I’m not criticizing the designer ( Or anyone who loves being sassy) but I hope if enough of us mention we’d rather not be that… cheeky there might be more options for a bit of modesty.

The Halloween Season

BOO!

Hey FabFam, are you enjoying the spooky season yet? I absolutely looove Halloween and I am gonna make it last all month this year! So why not start with a sexy but sorta scary costume?

Now this little folly is “Halloween Clown” from G Fields. It looks like this shop had new Halloween costumes up each year until 2020. In fact, this outfit is from 2019 so some of ya’ll may already have it. All of the past gifts are simply free for everyone now and I don’t knw if G Fields will return to the Grid or not. All of the gifts are really cute so I can hope this designer will come back at some point.
