Swimming with the Kitties

Woohoo! Another weekend is here. A friend dragged me to this sunny place with promises of a picnic and a cool lake for swimming. Are we lost?? We’ve been walking for what seems like forever. I forgot my compass so I’m trying to get a fix on the sun to figure out something to get us out of here.

Do Kittycats Like to Swim?

Apparently they do! Kittycats has teamed up with The Free Dove for the August Caring Hands Hunt. If you’re a cat lover you probably already know about the Kittycats store. For this hunt there are ten specially designed “Swimmer Cats Shoulder Pets”. I’ve included the hunt gift list below.

These are not your regular shoulder pets. Instead each cat is equipped with mask and snorkel as well as swim fins. Each cat is chasing a sea critter as it swims around you. Completely adorable!! You get a male and a female of each coat.

Marvelous Night For a Moondance

As I stand here looking out the window of my loft I am a little sad that the FabFree at Fifteen event is ending at midnight tomorrow. Aline did an outstanding job of wrangling the designers who were gracious enough to participate. It means a lot that FabFree has been around for so long. We have the designers and FabFree team to thank for bringing you all of the goodies. In fact, if you’re so inclined a short thank you note to the designers who set out gifts would be appropriate. I think I can speak for the entire FabFree blogger team when I say “We love showing our finds.” Working on the blog is a labor of love for us. So though our celebration ends tonight there will be many more posts to come.

A Little Boho

Pixel Box has been around many, many years. The designs there lean towards steampunk, Goth, and Victorian style. I do confess I hadn’t visited the store in a couple of years so I was very pleased to find it still open and participating in FabFree at Fifteen. Now that my nap is over I’m ready to run the streets of SL and get some dancing in tonight. This evening I’m wearing the Steampunk Rustic Long Skirt. It is nicely textured and has great details like the buttons on the skirt. For this post I’ve paired it with the top from Tiffany Designs Kaylin shorts outfit.

Tatted Up

Hey FabFree! I have some tattoos from Carol G. Tattoo and a few last-minute gifts from Access to show off. Some of these gifts are limited-time offers, so act fast!

The Tats

I am showcasing the following tattoos, which are all group gifts from Carol G. Tattoo.  Carol G. Tattoo currently costs 200L to join. I am wearing all of these tattoos using Bakes-On-Mesh layers. Most of the tattoos include different levels of opacity to wear the tattoos in BOM layers (50%, 75% and 100%). They also each include appliers for Maitreya, Legacy, Belleza, Omega, and Slink mesh bodies.

From the front view I am showing…

• A pretty under-the-breast tattoo with a heart and filigree pattern on it. This one comes in black.
• A pride leg tattoo. I’m still in pride mode even though June is over!
• On my hands and wrists, I am wearing the “henna hands” tattoo, which comes in black ink. This tattoo was originally blogged by Allison here.

From the back view I am showing…

• On my back I am wearing the David Bowie tattoo in black. I am a big Bowie fan so I had to show this one off! The quote says, “I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring”.
• The “Free” tattoo on the bum says “free” with a butterfly landing right on the bum cheek! Too cute.
• Under my butt and above my thighs there is also a really pretty decorative tattoo I got as a group gift at Carol G.

Closing Soon!

Before the Access anniversary event closes in four days (July 8th), I had to show you all the great free items they have that fit Lelutka EvoX heads exclusively:

• This great head skin from Ives comes in the “Sienna” Velour skin tone. The skin comes in BOM layers for Lelutka EvoX heads only, and it includes ear skins, neck fades and light and dark ginger brow versions, as well as a no-brow version (which is what I am currently wearing).
• The realistic eyebrows are the gift from addon+. These brows are a Lelutka ExoX HD applier and they come in several colours.
• Goreglam has a really cool set of expressive eyeshadows out as a free makeup applier. These also fit Lelutka EvoX only.

The good news is we now have another outlet store on the grid. The Designer Outlet is a monthly event running from the 7th of the month through the 28th of the month. 42 shops are involved, with scads of bargains to be had. I just love BananaN, they make wonderful items with a special touch of whimsy, that is just adorable. Hat’s Off To Truth

Or in this case, might be better to say hats on to Truth. Knowing my love of hats, Truth just made my week with his newest creation. It was a case of love at first sight, LOL. The Meadow hairstyle is just 50L. for FLF. The Essentials pack includes a hud with single colors, 2 colors, and style changes. Also included in the pack is the accessory hud, with 12 color changes for the hat, and 8 color changes for the band. Sad But True Story

Telling tales on myself. 🙂 That doesn’t happen often. On New Year’s Eve, some of us Fabby Girl got together to play board games and chat, just have girl time. We are all sitting at the game table, and 3 of the lovely ladies are holding these sparklers, poor Jacx didn’t have said sparkler, so there she sits like a lump on a log, while the other 3 fashionistas are sparkling like nobodies business. LOL. Arielle has a picture, maybe you can get her to share it on a post in the future. Needless to say, the next day first thing Jacx went and got said sparkler, so she too could sparkle and shine.

As usual, I digress from the point of this post. Tutti Belli a rather new store to me, is giving an awesome New Year gift, 800L. store credit. Hiya, don’t know about you all, but I am a major list maker. Lists for what I am going to post, lists for grocery’s, lists for what I am cooking for food for the coming week, and the daddy list of all is…..

The Never-Ending To-Do Lists

The endless list of things to do, cleaning, laundry, shopping, you name it, I might just have a list for it LOL. There are post-a-notes all over my tv that I use as my monitor, there are stacks of small legal pads with lists. Pearlescent New Year
