Just a Yummy Little Dessert

Hey fab folks!

I wanted to call this post Princess of Pastries but a cupcake is not technically a pastry.  I guess its just a yummy little dessert?  Whatever they are, they are absolutely wonderful!  In fact, when my birthday rolls around (approx 5 months and 3 days from now…) feel free to skip the cake and just bring me oodles of cupcakes (why did I almost write mushrooms?  LOL).  When you are as elderly as I am, you get to make requests such as that.  😉

In My House

Hey Fab Free! I have a few really cool freebies to show you, which is almost everything in this photo except for my hair. Let’s start with the decor, and then move on to my outfit after.

Hip Decor

This great wall tapestry is amazing, and a free gift at Petite Mort. It’s called the “Compassion tapestry” and it’s branded with a number of slogans about human rights and social issues. It works perfect in my living room, so I was quite pleased with this gift! No group is needed for this gift, just buy it for 0L on the gift shelf at Petite Mort.

The Outfit

I love it, plus is goes with my new banner perfectly. Salon Time

After months of being cooped up I’ve decided its time to chop it all off, and by chop it off I mean just a trim 😉 Between the hot summer and the months of distancing, I’ve been slacking on taking care of it. Like many others, it goes up in a messy bun and I’m ready for the day.

Galactic Girl

Saving the Stars

Little did you know, I am also a Galactic Girl who is tasked with saving the galaxy from evil. Earlier today I was notified of a large gathering of stars that have the ability to turn dust into chocolate. The orders came in from above and I was sent out to procure them before Astrid was able to get her cyber-hands on them! Astrid comes from a planet where chocolate is their undoing, the race is vulnerable to the sweet delicate substance.
So with my Space Wolf “Barf” we made our way to the rings of Saturn where we had found Astrid using her cyber-portal to beat us to the stars…

Cozy Corner

It has been getting warmer in my part of the world, and for once I am ready, if not eagerly anticipating the summer. The promise of warm sunny days put me in the mood to add some brightness and summer color to my space here in Second Life. My new cozy little reading corner, also known as Oscar’s favorite place to hoard his tennis ball collection, is thanks to Happy Weekend items from Muniick, and free Stay at Home Club gifts from ChiC Buildings, [QE Home], Kisetsu, and Eclectica Curiosities.

Kisetsu

The cute pastel Japanese tea set is a free Stay at Home Club gift at Kisetsu. This gift will dispense tea, and includes a display tea cup along with the tea set. I think it looks perfect on the sideboard from Muniick, and now I can have a nice warm green tea any time I want.

Eclectica Curiosities 

I really like the soft buttery yellow of this armchair by Eclectica Curiosities. It seems warm and inviting. The chair along with the side table and lamp are also free Stay at Home gifts. The lamp can be turned off and on via touch, and the chair has several solo sit animations.

[QE Home]

The rug, and the pile of throw pillows I stashed in the sideboard table are together the free Stay at Home Club gift from [QE Home]. The rug and pillows each have a few color/pattern choices with a bright bohemian kind of feel to them. The pillows can also be sized via their touch menu. I think they add a pretty pop of color.
