Gacha Snow Day Right Here

I have to admit it was very hard not to think of the Disney movie Frozen while taking this photo with Love out building a snowman. She kind of is the Elsa to my Anna in a lot of ways. She and I spent a fun afternoon playing in the snow in our cute outfits by Petite Mort. You can see the pretty photo she took during our snow day fun below. Psychosomatic

Hello Fab Free. Today’s post is a little melancholy, though appropriately so. If you are, or ever were into EDM (Electronic Dance Music) you know who the man on Pru’s shirt. Keith Flint, probably best known for his work with the band Prodigy, took his own life early this week. Despite his often menacing appearance on stage, he has been described by those who knew him as a kindhearted soft-spoken gentile soul. Music will never be quite the same without his creative spark.

The designer behind the brand Beautiful Hustler has put out this top as a free group gift in tribute to the beloved singer, dancer, and front-man. The top comes in a single mesh size (not sure if it is fitted or standard), as well as mesh sizes for Maitreya Lara, Belleza (all), Tonic (all), and Slink (all) mesh bodies. Hi hi Fab Free’rs! I’ve been fishing! Of course I mean 7Seas Fishing at Sn@tch. Their current “Fish 4 This” outfit was just too cute to pass up. Not to mention the fact that you can score a full head to toe look with different color choices for several of the pieces. Also, there are options that make this look suitable for Classic avatars. The following blurb is a quick “how-to” for those new to 7Seas Fishing. I’ve posted it before, but figured I’d post it again just incase someone needed the information. If you’ve already figured the fishing thing out, just skip that part.

How to go 7Seas Fishing

If this is your first time fishing, I suggest getting a “casual” fishing rod. You can purchase a casual rod at the 7Seas fishing kiosk near the Sn@tch entrance. There are other rod options, but I only use a casual rod. The casual rod will cost you a one time purchase price of 100 linden. Once you have your rod you can use it forever to fish at any participating 7Seas Fishing area. Now you’re ready to go fish for this outfit!

Before I Had My Coffee

Oh Hello There Fab Free’rs! I hope you’ve all survived the holidays so far. I for one do not want to see let alone eat another slice of pie for a very long time. Otherwise I’m doing pretty well. Hello Fab Free’rs! Does any one know what day it is? I am feeling the hectic side of the holidays and sometimes I don’t know if I am coming or going! Luckily I have you guys, some good friends, and a cup of hot tea to remind me to slow down a minute and relax. It’s Too Early for Wrapping Presents

Hello Again Fab Free’rs! My the blog is busy this weekend! I’m so excited to see all the Fabulous posts, and I’m always glad you’re here reading them. It seems like Pru might spend the month of December in her pajamas! All jokes aside, sounds kind of fantastic if you ask me.  It’s getting to that time when I find myself either staying up way too late or getting up way too early to wrap the Christmas presents, so this photo is not too far fetched from my reality. Merry Christmas Malvada Mujer

Hello There Fab Free’rs! One thing I am certain to be excited about in both real and Second Life is free makeup. It does not happen nearly as often in real life, so thankfully there’s SL. La Malvada Mujer recently put out this cool glam grunge makeup applier set as a free gift for everyone. The set includes lipstick appliers with 3 iridescent color options, and tattoo/eye makeup appliers with 3 variations. There is an Omega applier and a Genus applier for both the lipstick and eye makeup/tattoo.

To best show how the makeup looks, I used the Omega appliers to apply the makeup to Pru’s Catwa Koura head in the photo on the left. The photo on the right shows Pru wearing the Genus Project Classic head and having used the Genus makeup appliers. I love this unique makeup look with the almost holographic looking lipstick, the stylized bee tattoo, and even the smudgy black eye-shadow on the lower lid.
