Foxy November

When the temperature is perfect, the sun is shining, and the air is crisp and cool I can’t resist the allure of spending some time outdoors. It’s good for the psyche. All-Nighter

I just couldn’t put the book I was reading down. Blue had gone to bed hours ago, at what anyone would have considered a late hour. I had replied that I too would call it a night after just a moment longer. One more page, a chapter, just a bit more.  A moment longer turned into hours later, the once blazing fire in the fireplace now glowing red embers, and the morning sun was hinting over the horizon.

Candy Girl

Never Too Early

Alright, I know what you must be thinking… “Pru, it’s August.” However, while I understand the sentiment, we will just have to agree to disagree on whether or not it’s too early in the year for jack-o-lanterns. I like to refer to September through the start of November “Halloween Season.” I’m without a doubt, no shame at all that person who begins to decorate for fall Halloween starting the first week in September.  It’s been a long week and my favorite time of year is ever so near. So, I decided with a little help from Goddess Creations to get my fall vibes going a little early this year.

Hello there Fab Free’rs! I was one of those kids that spent way too much time afraid of being called a nerd. I’d hide my love of books, fantasy, and anything that might label me as geeky, nerdy, or dorky. The funny thing is, all that hiding never gained me any popularity either. Now that I’ve fully embraced my nerdiness it’s pretty darn awesome if I do say so myself! Alongside my nerdy adoration of books I love fashion and can get especially geeky about a great bargain.

TRS Designs

For this look I picked up the free Stay at Home Club gift dress at TRS Designs. I have to say this dress is even cuter on than it is in photos. I really wish I’d picked this one up sooner. It has the loose fit of a t-shirt dress, with the added details of leather-like straps that come together in a Y shape in the back. I’m also loving the wine red and slate grey tie-dye. I also don’t think it’s a secret that I love tattoos. DAPPA has been a recent favorite tattoo shop of mine. This heavily detailed upper body tattoo is the newest group gift at DAPPA and I’m geeking out about how great it looks. It’s a unisex tattoo with several appliers and BOM layers each with the choice of a fresh or faded look. I don’t know about anyone else, but my Second Life summer is shaping up extremely nicely. As everyone knows by now I’ve been hitting the beach every chance I get. Thanks to Paper.Sparrow’s new Dog Days Hunt, I get to look extra cute while keeping my toes in the sand.

It’s swimsuit season and I’m all for it this year. I wasn’t kidding when I said I have been seriously enjoying some of the island life here in Second Life. Live Your Best Life

I think I’m determined to visit every seaside spot on the grid. To say I am afflicted with wanderlust would be an understatement. This time Blue discovered a beautiful little slice of paradise where we could spend the days playing in the water and the evenings relaxing deckside watching the sun go down.
