Hey FabFree! We are still covering the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt. Although St. Patrick’s Day has come and gone this year, I still love all the green and clovers and as an Irish gal, I can rock an Irish look in green all year long! My Emerald Home

Hey FabFree! I am back with another St. Patty’s day post, and this time it is to show some St. Patrick’s Day decor. As I have discovered, it is quite difficult to find St. Patrick’s Day themed decor in SL for some reason. However, I made this cute little scene to celebrate today. Many of these items are prizes on the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt. As well I am showing a very limited time 60L promo only available today before midnight, so read below to get the details.

A St. Pat’s Scene

• The amazing and wacky green steampunk portrait of a naked cat is another hunt prize from Paper.Sparrow on the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt. This portrait is just amazing in all the right ways. • The incredible set of St. Pat’s pet portraits is also an exclusive sale from Paper.Sparrow. Only today, St. Patricks Day, until 11: 59 PM SLT, you can get this hilarious set of pet portraits for only 60 Lindens. After the 60Promo sale ends, this set goes back to regular price for 100L, which still works out to 25L per print (but you do pay for the whole set at once which includes the 4 pet portraits). The ginger cat in the centre piece really does remind me of the Wizard of Oz… this is one of my favourite St. Patty’s items I found this year. It’s so different and just amazing!
• The living room set shown here- which consists of a leather loveseat, a coffee table, and end table, mirror and pot with clovers, is one of the hunt prizes on the FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt from Kim’s Kreations. Irish(ish)

The slogan “Irish(ish)” seen on my top today speaks to me. I have Northern Irish heritage, but I have never really been to Ireland and I don’t always identify with Irish culture. As my family was originally from Northern Ireland, they often act British and do a lot of British things like drink tea and eat Hob Nobs. I guess I am Irish(ish)! On a side note, I always use the free neck fix from Velour to match these types of tones to whatever body skin I am currently wearing, and it usually works really well.

Xmas is Here

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas… yes, maybe for some Xmas starts after Cyber Monday but for me it starts today because technically Black Friday is over. Bring on the Xmas season! There are only 29 days until Christmas and the countdown is on! I put together a fun Christmas-y look today to bring in everyone’s favourite season. Fall Musings

Can I Go Back?

Ah, September… the month of new beginnings and a new school year is almost upon us. It’s the first day back to school over here where I live! Sometimes I wish I could just go back to school and re-live my college years. Sure, school sucks sometimes and it’s a lot of hard work… but I loved walking around the University quad with a coffee in hand, venturing off to my next lecture and absorbing my mind in the world of higher education. In all honesty, I didn’t have many responsibilities back then besides dedicating myself to learning more about the world. I just loved learning, reading, and discussing ideas, so being in College/University was one of the best times in my life!

…Fast Forward to November

I am an odd one for wanting to go back to school, huh? Well, I am also a bit strange when it comes to my opinions about the seasons of the year. Despite loving the summer months and the time I get off every year, I have a stronger fondness for the Fall. Once September starts, everything becomes a blur with how crazy school and work always becomes! I am sure you can relate. However, I just love fall; it always makes me feel warm inside. Bring on pumpkin season! I am definitely one of those people who waits for pumpkin-spice lattes and Halloween in August. This sweater and skirt outfit I have on in the photo below reminds me of the month of November because it has poppies on it and it looks warm and comfy. This is my type of clothing style! I always prefer fall and winter clothes in both RL and SL, and I simply love this outfit for its fall vibes.

Well, this has been a fun and poetic exploration of my views about life, higher learning, and the seasons. Now I have two amazing outfits, poses and shoes to show you in my post today, so let’s look at what I found to bring in the fall season!

Two Lovely Limited-Time Outfits

Ari-Pari is the clothing store I am featuring today, and they are currently in the middle of renovating their store. You will find the two gifts shown in my post today at the Ari-Pari Temporary Location, which is right HERE. Ariana was so kind that she left out a group gift and a hunt prize from last August a wee bit longer for us, so that no one would miss out. The two lovely outfits shown in my post today are available for a limited period of time at the Ari-Pari Temporary Location, a skybox that will be open until mid-September. They are only available for another week or two, so I suggest everyone go now to get them before these great gifts disappear for good.

First, the school uniform shown in the first picture is a 1L promo at the Ari- Pari Temporary Location.  The outfit includes a hud with 10 colour options to change the colour of the skirt and necktie. The base of this school uniform outfit is white. This dollarbie promo was a hunt prize for last month’s Back to School Hunt (which has now ended), but Ari-Pari is keeping this little gem out to grab for a couple more weeks into September due to the store closure in August. Now it only costs 1L and no hunting is required- just look for the PROMO sign and pay the vendor 1L to get the outfit for cheap!

Housewarming

I just grabbed one of the “Stilt” Linden homes yesterday, so I am playing around with how I can decorate the front dock. Time for a little housewarming party to serve guests with drinks and appetizers!

Group Gift Run!

Near the end of every month, I collect group gifts from the groups I am a member of. I am featuring a couple the gifts that I collected this month, including:
