Hey FabFree! Winter weather is still not over all the way over here in Canada, and I wish it was. I can pretend the spring sun is seeping in, right?

I have three freebies to show tonight before I depart. This one is short and sweet, my dears.

• The lipstick is the latest free gift from Shiny Stuffs. It’s a huge pack of pretty lipstick. It comes in an HD applier for Lelutka EvoX heads. You will find it behind the counter with some other freebies. There is second big wall of free gifts as well- just check the middle of the store by the hallway to find the second wall of gifts.
• Another spot to look for free gifts at Shiny Stuffs is on another wall facing the wall of gifts behind the main counter. In that nook, I found a free shadow layer that goes on top of your eye balls to give your eyes some depth. I’m wearing it now and it makes your eyes “pop” a bit. It’s a cool little free gift! It comes in a BOM layer.
• Finally, my cute hairstyle is one of many free hairstyles available at tram.

We Will Miss You

As I am sure many of you have been, I have been sad to hear of Palomma Casanova’s passing and the upcoming closing of the Free Dove. It has always been an amazing spot to visit and it feels sad that it won’t be there anymore. It’s just one of those things that left such an impact on our virtual world. Palomma was a lovely and caring person, and she brought us all such joy with the new free gifts and hunts every month at Free Dove. She and the store will be missed, but I will be forever grateful for her kindness and generosity she provided us over the years.

I am showing some freebies you can pick up at Free Dove until it poofs.

• The hairstyle is a gift from Exile, which comes in many colour options you can change via a HUD.
• The dress and shoes both come from gifts at Furtacor’s stall. The dress includes several patterns and ripped texture options, and the shoes come in several colour options you can change via a HUD as well. The dress fits Lara, Petite, Flat, Legacy, Perky, Kupra, Kups, Reborn, Erika & Freya. The shoes fit Legacy, Maitreya, Belleza, Reborn, Kupra & Erika.
• My nails are a free gift from Go! Makeup. They come with a hud that allows you to change them to several basic colours. These mesh nails come in sizes for Slink, Alice, Maitreya, Legacy, and Belleza.
• Lastly, my lipstick is a gift from Shiny Stuffs. 3 samplers of lipstick are included, which work with Lelutka Evolution/EvoX appliers.

Dressed Up from The Free Dove

The Free Dove, as most of you probably already know (since its been blogged numerous times here), has been around for nearly 18 years. It is the SLife’s work of ⒹoⓋє (palomma.casanova) and she has poured her heart and soul into it. You must join the group and wear the tag, it’s free to join, and once you do then you can click on all the gifts that you want on the bottom floor of the venue.

For this post I decided to get dressed there. Don’t worry, I kept clothes on…but as I shopped I picked up things I wanted to share with you and worked to coordinate them together to see how much of a look I could create. Please note there are loads of other awesome items too that I could have continued with but did not want to totally overwhelm you.

• The first thing is this pretty little black dress from REED. Aline blogged it back in February of 2021 in the animal print, so go check out her styling too! The dress is fit for Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya Physique and Venus bodies. The HUD allows you to change it between 6 prints/colors.
• REED also has the heels I’m wearing. They also are fit for Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya Physique and Venus bodies and have 6 colors on the HUD.

There are four other free things to show you still. I had to accessorize this look, of course.

• One more item set from REED is the jewelry. My bracelet, necklace (and hiding earrings) are all available in one box and are unrigged and resizeable.
• Next, my hair is a gift from FAGA. It comes in large and small, has 4 style choices on the HUD and 82 colors! There are more customization options on the HUD, too. Caroline wore it in another color back in August of last year.
• Finally for my makeup: my nails are a gift from GO! Makeup fit for Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature Alice and Slink. The HUD gives 8 nail polishes to wear. And my lipstick is a sampler from Shiny Stuffs with 3 red colors. They are for Lelutka Evo & Evo X only.

Support Ukraine in Style!

Second Life is one of the most wonderful worlds in existence.  We can stand together and support our friends in the Ukraine while also loving our Russian friends who never asked their leaders to go to war.  I was so inspired by Cre’s post about supporting the Ukraine, that I quickly hopped onto Marketplace to see what else I could find.  Truly, there are hundreds of freebies out there to show our support for the Ukraine.  I can’t blog them all here, but do a quick search and you will have a closet full of items to show your support.  I found this beautiful FREE Eiko Dress Ukraine by E&E which comes with matching shoes.  I also found the FREE matching Ukraine lipstick by MAD, and a FREE 90s Necklace with a hud including two different peace signs by Melt.

The shoes come with the outfit and match perfectly!

If you wish to provide financial support, Two Moons Gardens is donating the proceeds of their Inspiration Garden (249L) to the International Red Cross for use in their care of refugees and victims of acts of war.  The garden, pictured above, is located on a special sim where there are freebies and 10L items to purchase to support the Red Cross’s efforts in addition to donation kiosks.  Two Moons will be hosting a Salsa event in the near future, so please check them out.

The Fabulous Farmer’s Market!

My gentle readers…I’ve just returned from a week in Vegas.  It was for RL work, but STILL…Vegas!  I came back to SL to find all sorts of fun fabulous things including The Farmer’s Market!  To get these goodies, you go to each store and find the farm stand.  Everything is less than 80L.  This cute outfit named Kacey is by Amias.  This color cost 75L, but there are other colors at full price.  The necklace, adorably enough, is ALSO called Kacey (did they plan that?), and cost 65L at Michan.  There are several different metal choices, but each comes with a HUD for the gem.  The silver is pictured below.

As I catch up with all the SL goodies out on the grid, I found the Farmer’s Market to be a lot of fun!!!
