Hello hello and happy weekend Fab Free’rs. I hope you’ve been enjoying yours. As for me, it’s been a productive sort of quiet weekend and I’m not at all mad about it. Even more, I’m excited to share with you some pretty summery finds from Dead Doll and Sweet Evil. On a side note, bonus points if you’re familiar with the movie from which I got my blog title, and the relation to the seals.

This pretty sarong-like tropical print skirt is a free group gift at Dead Doll. It has a color change hud with several color choices and you can color the skirt and the tie separately. Right now the Dead Doll group has a one-time join fee of 250 linden. I think this cute summer skirt is perfect for dressing up and wearing out or even on it’s own at the beach with a bikini.

Sweet Evil has a dollarbie gift card worth 250 linden for current group members. The Sweet Evil group is free to join. I have no idea how long this gift card will be available, so definite do not wait to pick it up. With my gift card I picked out this cute halter style top and after using my 250 linden gift card only paid 50 linden for the top. I think it went well with the skirt, and it has a tinting hud so you can tint the shirt to match just about anything with the choice of tinting the main part of the shirt and the straps separately. There are lots of things to choose from at Sweet Evil, including BOM items. Just a note of caution, if you’re at all bothered by bare breasts, you might skip this one. Many of the tops sold at Sweet Evil have breasts playfully exposed.

Hear the Ocean

Spending my Saturdays in, on, or around the water has become my summer go-to. When it’s this hot and sunny out the waves are hard to resist, especially when Blue is able to join me for a day of splashing around in the waves and collecting shells. Toes in the Sand

I don’t know about anyone else, but my Second Life summer is shaping up extremely nicely. As everyone knows by now I’ve been hitting the beach every chance I get. Thanks to Paper.Sparrow’s new Dog Days Hunt, I get to look extra cute while keeping my toes in the sand.

The Dog Days Hunt is an in-store hunt at Paper.Sparrow. There are 18 total hunt prizes at 25 lindens each. Summer Sun

Yellow, it’s a vibe for me this summer. I just want to be warm, happy, and someplace sunny! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I know I cannot complain, especially not when I have the awesome Fab Free community to be part of. Truly, I am thankful. For this look I picked up both the top, and the pants for free. Keep reading and I’ll tell you all the what, where, and how.

Aquara 

I was honestly surprised at how much I like this free top only because until now Aquara is not a brand I was familiar with and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s super cute on, and the textures are really nice. This halter top is a free group gift, and the group is free to join at this time. It comes with a color/texture hud that has 8 choices. It also has a separate hud for tinting the top any color you want. There are a few things I wanted to note about the packaging and the hud. First, the package says “Maitreya” on it, but don’t worry there are more sizes. Second, the color/texture hud when first attached will show you the Aquara Marketplace page. I was confused at first! lol There’s a tab on the side however that when clicked will take you to the color/texture choices.

Aurora’s Closet 

These capri style jeans with rainbow pockets are the free Stay at Home Club gift at Aurora’s Closet. I wanted something new and cute to go with my halter top, and these capris fit the bill. These free denim pants come in black and in blue for extra versatility. Overall I was pretty pleased with these. They are a great addition to my closet and you can’t beat the price!

Hello Summer!

Hello Fab Free and hello summer! The Women Only Hunt 6 started yesterday and while I haven’t picked up all the gifts quite yet, I did pick up all the WOH6 gifts at Crystal Store. Yes, I said all the gifts. Crystal Store has 6 total hunt gifts that are 10 lindens each. For this hunt you’ll be searching for a bright yellow sun with a smiley face on it. The Women Only Hunt lasts from now until June 30th. I’ve added a copy of the hunt prize key from Crystal Store so you can get a better look at each of the prizes.

There’s nothing quite like crisp white fabric in summer, and I love this cute head-to-toe look from Crystal Store. It was all a Daydream

Do you ever have one of those daydreams where you hear, smell, and feel the dream rather than just see it in your mind? I have those sort of daydreams about the ocean. In the moment I can hear the sea birds, and the rush of the waves, smell that unmistakable salty sea air, feel the wet sand beneath my feet, and the warm sun on my skin. Thank goodness for Second Life where beach-life is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long!

Speaking of beach-life, I picked up this new bikini at Beauty Factory recently. It’s one of their most recent group gifts, and it comes in several colors and sizes. Soak Up the Sun

Hi Fab Free! I don’t think I’m quite ready to head out to the beaches, but my backyard basin will do me fine. The weather is nice, and I need some sunshine. Summer at Otter Lake

Hello Fab Free, happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I have been aching for some sunshine and adventure. A few days enjoying the sights and sounds of a coastal town or a lakeside retreat sound heavenly. So I think that’s just what I’ll do! Time to pack up the doggos, throw on something casual and cute, and hit the road.

For this post I picked up a few essentials for my adventure. The scooter complete with the picnic basket full of adorable puppies by 777, as well as my floral bikini and shorts. Oceanside

Summer Nymph

Alright, I have to admit that while I am generally speaking all about autumn when it comes to seasons, I do like all the lovely flowers and bright sunny afternoons that happen the most during summer. This cute little dress from WitchCraft may have also had something to do with my summer moment.
