Uhh I am a bit nervous but more than anything excited to start this journey!

As an icebreaker, I have to mention that I am a slow fashion preacher in RL. So, in SL I also have the habit of diving through and using things that I collected in the past and are still sitting in my inventory. Not sexy, I know, but in my defense, I’ll say that it helps me cultivate a style that mixes the good classics and the trendy items that are hot right now while allowing me to rediscover creators and places that aren’t as visited as the usual “hotspots” of SL.

So, if you see me wearing something from 2021, please forgive me, I promise the items (or store) will be worthy!

Group Gifts Give Me Life

Envious is a new to me store. The clothes there are really fun and sexy. I’m wearing one of the free group gifts, aptly named Trouble. It includes both the sweater and jeans. You Would Still Have My Heart

I’d been pondering if it was too early to do a Valentine’s Day post. After all, Valentine’s Day is only a couple of weeks away. Then, the decision was made for me when I saw a group notice for the Petite Mort and Oubliette Valentines Hunt!

One Last Hunt

It’s really the perfect way to spend a chilly January day, hunting the stunningly beautiful Witchwood sim for Valentine’s goodies. And we’d better enjoy it while we can, because this will be the last hunt on the Witchwood sim as it is now. But don’t fret, Melora Frost (owner/creator of Witchwood and both stores) announced in the group chat that she will be redecorating the sim and relaunching both stores. She says that she plans to put the two stores next to each other and dedicate half of the sim to themed hunts. It’s a little bittersweet because the sim is so lovely as it is and I’ve definitely taken my share of photos there over the years, but also exciting to see what Melora will come up with next!

Hearts and Roses

Back to the current hunt – this time you’re looking for 18 conversation hearts scattered all over the sim. They’re not terribly hard to find, but if you have trouble just look for the Hunt Pack Info & Clues at the landing point. It includes pictures of the prizes and the hearts you’re looking for, as well as some tips and even a list of hints for the location of each one. Each prize costs 10L or 20L. I’m wearing two:

• The denim jacket is 20L and acid washed to perfection
• The cute “love tee” I’m wearing under it is only 10L

Both items are sized for Maitreya, Legacy, and Reborn.

In addition to the hunt, both stores are currently 50% off. It all officially started today and end on February 14th.

Stuck In Colder Weather

I do enjoy spending my SL time in tropical climes all year ’round, but right now that cold RL weather is chilling me to the bone. It is officially time to get cozy, in both lives!

Snuggly Warm

I’ll admit that my first inclination was towards a longer sweater but I certainly have no regrets for where I ended up.
