Raise a Glass to Madness

Sometimes you just have to raise a glass to all the madness that swirls around you.  I’m having one of those moments of needing a little time out from all the craziness of the world, and this glass of bubbly is providing me with a little sense of half-zen, half-celebration that my soul clearly needs.  Cheers to all the insanity out there.

All Dressed Up

My very prim and proper (and yet quite sexy) dress is the latest gift from Maai.  They come out with some great gifts fairly often, so this is one of those groups I stay in and get a nice little surprise every few months.  The Lynn dress screams “I’m a good girl…or am I?” in a lot of different ways, if you catch my drift.  It comes with a little handy HUD to change the colour of the shirt as well.  You’ll be able to grab this lovely gift by joining the Maai group for free, and clicking on the vendor at the landing point!

New York Breakfasts

Ah, New York.  I was recently there for a little trip, and had a grand old time walking around in the city that never sleeps.  I’ll tell you two things I noticed about this massive metropolis… First of all, the honking never stops.  I wonder how people who live there manage.  I suppose eventually it all just becomes background noise.  Secondly, the people were really lovely.  I had some really nice exchanges with strangers, and I kind of thought it funny that NYC has this image of being full of rude people.  I’m sure they’re there somewhere, but the overwhelming sense was of people who are proud of where they live.  Also, I had a really great breakfast.  So, here I am trying to recreate the moment.
