Like our fabulous readers, I run out and check out all of Aline’s fabulous finds. She posted about The Beauty Factory’s awesome 1000L credit here, and I had to run over. Wow. What a treat!!! These are unique threads that are so pretty. There are a hot pile of group gifts AND the 1000L bought a few very pretty outfits, too!!! Did I mention the group is FREE??? I also ran over to one of my favorite stores, Raindale, to pick up their March group gifts. How cute is this set up??? It comes with everything you see except my horse, Dante. I love fun fashion. New designs really get me excited, and Brillancia is a store full of really fresh designs that are totally affordable. In addition to their line of clothing, they have one of THE MOST EPIC freegroup gifts walls on the grid which includes a 500L giftcard! The group is FREE to join! This will matter in a hot minute.
While I was in the store picking up all the FREE group goodies, I saw this amazing post-apocalyptic outfit offered up at the Tres Chic Event, so I moseyed on over, and, wow, I was not disappointed. This outfit, which costs 250L for the top and bottom, comes in a wide range of colors with bling and non-bling versions. This is one hot outfit to use that FREE 500L gift card on!!! I will warn you, though, if you look around the store, you might find about 50 OTHER cool outfits, too.

My gentle readers…I’ve just returned from a week in Vegas. It was for RL work, but STILL…Vegas! I came back to SL to find all sorts of fun fabulous things including The Farmer’s Market! To get these goodies, you go to each store and find the farm stand. Everything is less than 80L. This cute outfit named Kacey is by Amias. This color cost 75L, but there are other colors at full price. The necklace, adorably enough, is ALSO called Kacey (did they plan that?), and cost 65L at Michan. There are several different metal choices, but each comes with a HUD for the gem. The silver is pictured below.
As I catch up with all the SL goodies out on the grid, I found the Farmer’s Market to be a lot of fun!!!

It’s finally here! Valentine’s Day! What, you ask, does Desi wear on this festive day of love and sexiness? Well, she wears what she always wears…cute stuff that she finds for FREE!!!
The Group Gifts at Brillancia are absolutely terrific and, ladies, you may not have gotten roses today, but you can join this group for FREE!!!The newest gift, the Anna dress, comes in all kinds of color HUD options. You can switch up the skirt and top and the top and lower bands to find a style you like. I paired the dress with the Group Gift heels named Arya (also free!). These, too, are customizable…the leather, the laces, and the heel. I looked around the store, and I really like Brillancia‘s style. Everything sort of looks the same around the grid as fashion trends hit all the stores at once, and Brillancia has some really sweet and unique outfits that are so pretty. The designer, Eva Chekov, is also really nice. I had a question, and she was super helpful. I definitely shop at stores where the designers are nice!
So….whether you have a date or not for the big V-Day celebrations, you can still wander around the grid looking sensational. There are a heap of free group gifts, and you will have so much fun trying everything on and working with the HUDS to create your custom happy look!

Ladies, it’s Confessions with Desi. I miss Gachas. I loved me a good Gacha event back in the day (like last year). But, the rules changed and now we have Next Up machines. I will admit that I am kind of a fan of them, as I am wasting a lot less money on stuff I don’t want, but I am not standing around for days hoping someone pulls the stuff I don’t like so I can get what I do. It’s an odd joy when I show up to a machine and there are back to back prizes that I really like. Such was the case at the Evil Bunny Productions “Up for Grabs” Next Up Event. The event runs until February 28th.
I picked up the free gifts at some of the vendors and then looked over the machines. There were some cute things I really wanted, but, alas, they weren’t the next up items…they weren’t even on the board yet…so I will have to wait for a Next Up Yardsale. But, then….THEN…I got to the Fatal Fashion machine! Waiting for my 50L pull was this adorable little dress and the next item was, luckily, the matching panties!
How lucky!!! I quickly scored these two fine articles of virtual bliss for 50L each before someone else jumped in to steal my pull (I mean, that’s never actually ever happened anywhere, but there is a real fear). I love this cute little outfit!!!

I am huge fan of Hello Tuesday. Held weekly on the Cosmopolitan Sim, I always find at least one fantastic deal. This week, I found ADD’s simple yet sexy Christy bodysuit! It only comes in light purple, but for 50L it is worth its weight in pixelated gold! It’s so pretty and fit Maitreya perfectly! For the photo above, I kept things simple with a ballet pose.

If you could read my mind like the expression on my face would you know what I am thinking?
It was one of those nights out like I hadn’t had in a long while. Summer in the south means even the nights are hot, but not nearly as sweltering as the day. Just about any excuse to get out and take your mind of the heat after the sun has gone down is welcome. Street racing is a popular pass-time, and it brings with it an exciting atmosphere where one can socialize after dark. Afterward there’s always a favorite dive bar where everyone is welcome, even if you don’t drink, and people play pool all night long even though the table hasn’t been level in years. It was fun to get dressed up, and get out of the house for a reason that didn’t include grocery shopping. To see, and be seen.

This is one of those outfits that you dress up in for no one else. You wear it for yourself because it looks good, and you feel good in it. From the moment I put this dress on I felt like a sexy goth pinup ghoul, like it was made just for me. Depending on the lighting this sexy dress from Eternal Limited has the look of satin, latex, or leather. The purple flames on the skirt remind me of the custom paint jobs you see on vintage hot rods, and for me that is just icing on an already delicious cake. Because of the hip-high slits on either side of the dress I felt more comfortable wearing it like a long top with cute black skinny pants. It’s swimsuit season and I’m all for it this year. I wasn’t kidding when I said I have been seriously enjoying some of the island life here in Second Life. That said, I was super excited about Bombshell’s free gift at FaMESHed. This gorgeous bikini comes in this patterned version shown, and a solid version in the same baby blue color. To get yours, you’ll need to join the FaMESHed event group, which is free to join. Then just click the gift box while wearing your group tag.
