Strange Magic

Hello and Happy Tuesday, Fab Readers! Okay… what happened to my Fall? It’s hotter than blazes here now and I’m all uncomfortable and cranky. Even as the trees are starting to turn beautiful nd the nights are getting cooler the temps are toooo hot. **whining pathetically** I guess I need to hide out on the Grid. Where the hottest thing is… me!! (( LOL ))

Inflated ego aside… this new dress from Indigenous has me feeling like a hottie. This is the “LBD dress” and it’s the free gift over at the newly opened TWE12VE Event. If you hadn’t heard, this is the TWE12VE Event’s birthday so they are celebrating with gifts for us! I even dragged Gabe over ad he has a great men’s gift to show you later this week. Now, I’m loving the details on the “LBD dress”. Look at the little bows on the thighs… super cute. I think this is prefect addition to my own LBD Collection.

How is this post about zombies?

Hey there, FabFree!  Monday got ya down? It could be worse… you could be a zombi instead of just feeling like one! But Grumble is telling me that everything is Better with Zombies.  Confused yet?  I can explain. See, Grumble is hosting a sweet mini hunt in the stores of their mall running along the Twisted Hunt. And they’re calling it the “Everything is better with Zombies” Hunt. I assure you that this mini hunt is not at all like the Twisted Hunt which is as hard as it’s rumored to be. The Zombie hunt is just for fun and for great free prizes, of course!

Speaking of great prizes, I am in love with these super cute pajamas from Ari-Pari, “Creepy Monsters.” The roving eyeballs are creepily adorable! You get the top and shorts as two separate pieces and a HUD for five color choices. The top and shorts can be colored separately as well for fun mix and match.

Classic

Heyya FabFree! When we are writing up our posts here on the blog, we use the “Classic” block style for Word Press. Simple, clear and… well… classic. When I sat down to write today, I pressed the “Classic” button and thought to myself, “Yeah… classic that’s this gown and jewelry combo. So classy and classic.” Now you know my title process. LOL Quite the author, I am.

So on to the gown and y’all know I love a nice ball gown. This is the “Carol Taty Gown” from Anne Silver Couture and you can pick it up for free with your Fabulously Free Group tag. When you think about all the parties and social events coming up in the next few months, having a stunning gown like this is a necessity. The details are so nice. The skirt has that look of quality velvet and the bodice has a playful embroidered pattern. This will definitely make my party list this year.

My new jewelry in amethyst and silver couldn’t have come up at a better time. While I was looking for something sparkly to wear with my new gown, I thought of one of my long time favs – Zuri. So I popped over and there it was, “The Medusa Set” on the Teleport HUB gift board. Talk about good timing. I put on my tag and collected my new choker and earrings ablaze with gorgeous purple amethysts.  Teleport HUB has a one time fee of 10L to join but then you have access to hundreds of gifts just for Group members.

Stand Out

Heyya  Fabulous People! One of the best thins for me abut living on the Grid is I can wear anything I want! I can be as sedate or as wild as I feel like at any given moment. And some days.. I wanna stand out above the masses! And that’s just what this sweet little combo from Grumble is making me feel.

Hey Fab Crew! Welcome to the start of the weekend at last! Now I know weekends are awesome but you know what makes them even more awesome?  Discovering a New-To-Me designer! I stumbled upon Blackbird Lace today and I couldn’t be happier. Such nice designs and really beautiful builds. What more could you ask for? Sakura Petals

Good evenin’ Fab Crew! Have you ever looked at something and thought, “Yeah… that’s okay. Cute enough.”  But then you really look at it and think, “WOW, how did I miss that? This is so so cool!”  Maybe it’s me… Anyway, I have two items for this post, one you’ve already seen but I couldn’t resist showing again and one I almost tossed out because it was ‘just another mini’. Both of these items are from the Dubai Third Anniversary round.

First is my hair. This is No_Reason from No_Match and our adorable Cre showed it off in her post here. I saw it and thought, “Browns… I don’t need brown hair,” But I unpacked it anyway and saw one of the browns was kinda auburn. I popped it on clicked ‘edit’ and then changed the color from basic white to a more orange color. And Bingo! Red hair!  I’m saying all this because with a little easy fiddling this Freebie was just right for me when I had thought it wasn’t at all. It goes to show ya, don’t pass up a free gift until ya mess around with it. You might miss out on something cool. Well, that and trust Cre, she knows what she’s doin’ 😉

Second, is my lovely new mini, the “Medea” dress from Flirt. When I unpacked it I was a little ‘meh’ about it. Then it rezzed fully and I took a closer look. The pink ‘splashes’ are gorgeous branches of cherry blossoms! The pattern reminds me of the old paintings on silk in Japanese art. The vibrant contrast of the delicate pink and white on the ink black background is really stunning. And the workmanship in the dress is simply beautiful. And to think I almost passed it by.

Hello FabFree! No, I’m not off on vacation or going anywhere. (Haha yer stuck with meeee) But, dang, I have the “Travel Wannas”. Don’t y’all? We’vev had to put off two years of trips now and it’s so disappointing. So I guess I’ll just have to pretend on the Grid. When I saw the super cute ‘travel’ pattern on PGR’s gift over at the #Hashtag event I knew I’d be off to adventure somewhere… even if it’s just in my head.
