With all the hustle and bustle for the holiday season being a bit different this year than years past, I find it even more important to take small moments to myself when I can. I like to stop and indulge in small things like decadent coffee and music that compels me to sing along. Whatever your little indulgences are, I hope you take the time to enjoy them. I hope you’ve had a very happy weekend Fab Free! I’m glad you’re here. The Jail event is having an anniversary round. You I’m sure saw Aline’s post “Put on Your Weekend Pants” featuring a few of the free event gifts in honor of their anniversary. Today I have a few more I’m excited to share with you. Each of the gifts at The Jail are free, you just need to wear the event group tag. Giuliadesign
The vest style top I am wearing is part of the freeJail event gift by Giuliadesign. I like this piece a lot because I think it looks sexy, but makes me feel like I am being sexy on my terms, for myself. That is an empowering feeling. This top comes in a dark purple color with a white collar as shown. There’s also a matching mini skirt and shoes in the gift, which I chose not to wear.
The tattoo I am wearing is by Hanz. It’s also free at The Jail, just don’t forget that group tag. I’m happy to say that this tattoo is unisex. It comes tattoo comes in appliers and BOM layers so anyone should be able to wear it, classic or mesh.
Lastly, the choker I have on is a freeJail event gift by Madame Noir. It’s called the Elektra necklace and it has a cool metal clasp in the front. It also has resize scripts, and a color change hud. The hud has several solid color choices for the leather/fabric and different metallic options for the metal bits.
As I’ve mentioned before I may not celebrate what at least in the U.S. is considered a traditional Thanksgiving, but I do believe very much in practicing thankfulness. I am thankful for autumn weather, for the beauty of the season, thankful for love, and for friendship. Honestly, the more I think on it, the more I have to be thankful for. That is a very beautiful and fortunate thing. I also am so thankful I have the opportunity to be here doing something I enjoy, sharing awesome finds with all of you.

For this post I have some bitter-sweet news. Clawtooth is closing for good at the end of the month. Bubbles Clawtooth, the designer behind the store, sent out a lovely sentiment explaining their appreciation for all that Second Life has given them, and their carefully made decision to move away from Second Life and on to other projects. What does that mean for us? The entire Clawtooth store is on sale at 70% off from now through the end of November. I am not at all ashamed to admit I spent a few more lindens than I needed to picking up some of the lovely hairstyles that will be gone forever once Clawtooth closes. There is also a free holiday hairstyle with no group needed, and I saw at least one group gift. No group is required for the sale, and gachas are included. Most of the hairstyles appeared to be priced between 45 – 66 linden per color pack, and gachas were averaging at 25 linden per play.
Fabulously Free in SL Group Gifts
Also, I wanted to take this opportunity to show off a few of the fantastic Fabulously Free in SL group gifts. When the temperature is perfect, the sun is shining, and the air is crisp and cool I can’t resist the allure of spending some time outdoors. It’s good for the psyche. I love the deep shade of violet the group gift dress at ChicModa has. The style of the dress is sweet and summery, but the color is all fall. It also includes a hud to let you show or hide the panties that are part of the dress. The ChicModa group is free to join at this time, so don’t wait! This furniture and décor set by Disorderly is absolutely gorgeous. It also happens to be one of several free group gifts available. The set includes a group of paintings for the wall, a set that leans against the wall, and a side-table with books, candles, an urn, and a skull. Each of these items are low-prim and highly detailed. I don’t think anyone really sets out to become a “Crazy Cat Lady.” I think it’s something that sort of claims you. From the first kitten/cat that enters your life, the seed of cat lady-ness (or in some cases, crazy cat guy-dom) germinates. I also think that from then on other cats know you’re now a “cat person” and they find you. Whether it be a stray kitten meowling for help in the parking lot where you work, or adoption ads from animal shelter pages on social media… they find you. Suddenly you find yourself in this situation, crouching on the floor with several of what you now refer to as your fur babies.
All the kitties aside, I do have some fantastic freebies to share with you. My top is a free group gift by UNA at the Itty Bitty Titty Committee event. My stylish bun is a freebie as well. Yes, you read that right. There is an event titled Itty Bitty Titty Committee. It’s geared toward the recent influx of chest sizes choices with some of the female bodies. The important part here is that UNA has a free group gift at the event. This cute top is free to all UNA group members. There’s a group joiner at the IBTC event, and the UNA group is free to join. This top comes in quite a few sizes, and has a color/texture change hud with lots of options. There’s also a cool glowing UNA logo on the back of the shirt, and an optional glowing UNA pin that attaches on the front of the shirt.
Once again I’ve been doing some exploring in Second Life, and I’m glad I did. I came across a hair shop called SHEGO that has this ultra cute top bun for free. There’s no group needed, just purchase the hairstyle from the vendor for zero linden. This style comes with an Omega applier hair base, and a system layer hair base. The bun part of the style, and the side wisps are mesh.

Hellooo there Fab Free! Does anyone else sometimes dress to fit their mood? I find a lot of the time my outfit is an almost direct reflection of how I am feeling or what I want to project. That said, these caticorns from Reed definitely suit my silly playful mood. Together the pose and the outfit are such a fun vibe. My playful pose is a group gift by Hazeel at the Pose Fair. I love it when I find free gifts that play well together!

Can you believe that September is finally here?! I feel like it’s been the longest summer I’ve ever experienced. Needless to say I am counting the days until it’s officially fall. Although, I kind of do enjoy this bit of time at the end of summer when you can start to mix a bit of autumn attire in with your warm weather wardrobe. I’m not sure whether the cute little critters across the chest are foxes or kitties, but just like the shirt says, they definitely make me smile. Pink Cream Pie has a join fee of 314 linden, and quite a few past group gifts still available.
I love the look of the this skirt from Red’s Little Secrets with the sweater. It’s a free gift for the Stay at Home Club. There’s no need need to join a group for this free gift, just click the vendor and click “deliver.” I do want to point out that it does stick through the sweater in the back a little, but not enough that it bothered me. Even so, this free skirt could go with so many things, it’s well worth the effort to pick it up. Also, Red’s Little Secrets has several Stay at Home gifts, including some male items.
