Dollar Pie
Pink Cream Pie is mentioned time and time again here on FabFree, because the group is awesome and loaded with perks. But what if you’re not in the group? Well, then this is the post for you, my friend. Pink Cream Pie has a dozen or so really nice items out there on SL Marketplace for only 1L each! I was a little bit conflicted about which one to actually show you but I mean come on, a hoodie of a dabbing unicorn with a sombrero and maraca? There really was no other choice. You can find it on the marketplace here, and you can see all of the 1L items excluding demos here. The hoodie comes in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya and is a linden very well spent.
One more note on these marketplace dollarbies – from some light inventory searching most of these items appear to not be past group gifts, so people who are in the group will want to check it out as well. Dollar pie for everyone!
Free Skinnery
I’m rounding out my look with the latest free group gift skin from The Skinnery. It’s part of the illustrious Holiday Special event, which I’ve named “Lelutka & Friends” in my head. Whatever you call it, you can read the details here when Aline first broke the news on FabFree and it’s definitely one not to missed.
The Skinnery‘s free gift is this lovely Eve skin in a long list of skin tones, with brow and no brow versions of each. To get it you’ll need to join The Skinnery group, which is currently free to join. This is a paid group that I assume will go back to having a fee when the event ends after December 30th. You’ll find a whole bunch of other free group gifts in the store as well and in my opinion the group is worth staying to see what others are added.

I can’t believe that another year has gone by. And covid is still as prevalent as it was when it started. Ugh. I hope 2022 will be the year we all say enough already and do whatever has to be done to take our lives back from this virus!
I know things will never be the same as they were pre-covid, but maybe it has brought some positive into our lives too. Like appreciating day to day things we took for granted, friends, family, hugs, shopping! Even appreciating just getting up in the morning and feeling *good*. Perhaps it came to teach us to shift our perspective and be grateful for all the little wonderful things, as simple as waking up to a new day (some people don’t, and one day, you won’t either).
It makes me think of one of my favorite movies Dead Poets Society. Mr. Keating (Robin Williams) tells his class to seize the day, make your life extraordinary while you can. The powerful play goes on and YOU get to contribute a verse. What will your verse be? A New Year Right Around the Corner
I’ve also got some fun New Year’s Deco for you. My 2022 numbers are the final Advent Day from Simply Shelby. In fact the final advent day gives you an entire New Year’s Eve Prep Kit that I think is pretty darn nifty! Even though the advent is past, you can still grab them all for only 10L. I also headed over to the Okinawa Holiday Event where they are lots of free gifts to grab, with no group needed. I found this adorable hair flower Free by Ayame and I absolutely love having my own New Year’s Ball which is 75L at Ever Green. Really it is made that you wear it and you can walk around on it, which is lots of fun, but for the photo I needed to stand still, so. I just couldn’t put the book I was reading down. Blue had gone to bed hours ago, at what anyone would have considered a late hour. I had replied that I too would call it a night after just a moment longer. One more page, a chapter, just a bit more. A moment longer turned into hours later, the once blazing fire in the fireplace now glowing red embers, and the morning sun was hinting over the horizon.
It didn’t help the situation that I had the cozy comfort of the oversized arm chair and a fuzzy warm blanket to keep me content and steadily reading my book. Come to think of it the glass of wine probably contributed to my unintentional all-nighter as well. Hello Fab Free! This is absolutely my favorite time of year. This is when I can be as spooky as I want to, and no one seems to mind. That said, I think my level of excitement over the Halloween Shop & Hop events might have been the most excitement I’ve felt about an event all year. With several sims full of festive Halloween goodness and freebies, I can’t imagine not being excited. That said, I have several of the freeHalloween Shop & Hop event gifts to share with you. I sincerely hope you love them, I do.
As Aline mentioned in her recent post “The Magic Words” there are 8 total Halloween Shop & Hop sims. Most (if not all) of the participating shops have a free gift, with no group required. My thoroughly blood splattered top is the free Halloween Shop & Hop gift by Pink Cream Pie. This gift comes with a color change hud that has several solid colored tees all with generous amounts of blood splatter.
The free Halloween Shop & Hop gift by #Adored is the cutest little brow tattoo. It reads “Spooky” with the option of wearing it on the right or the left side, in cursive or bold lettering, each with the choice of bold or faded styles. This tattoo comes in tint-able BOM layers only, which gives the added option of having the tattoo in color.
The Annex
I particularly like this fun devil horns headband by The Annex because it glows like neon. It comes in several color choices, so you can wear this fun accessory with multiple outfits. They are also of course free at the Halloween Shop & Hop Event.
I think there’s a rule that says you can’t have Halloween without a black and red manicure. Okay, maybe not, but in my world these bento nails by On a Lark are a must this season. On a Lark has 2 darkly pretty manicure sets as free gifts at the Halloween Shop & Hop event. The ones I am wearing are part of the “Halloween” set that has 4 black and red variations in the set.
