Hey FabFree! With all the events and Hops and shops and hunts going on, I decided to send some of my “associates” out to gather up some of the goodies. So today, ya’ll get Alistar showing off a couple of thefree giftsfrom the Valentines Day Shop & Hop.

Next from the Shop & Hop is the cute heart pose from DPSP poses. While this is labeled the “male” pose heart it could easily be unisex. The female pose comes in an identical heart prop but she’s posed in the center. It would be easy to move the hearts together if you wanted two Avis pose on the “same” prop for a really cute couple’s picture. Both hearts are, of course, freeto everyone.
Alistar’s new hair style is also afree gift but not from the Shop & Hop. He’s wearing the ‘Neil’ style from Vango and you can pick it up as a freepast Group gift. Just wear your free to join Group tag and collect it and several other gifts. ‘Neil’ comes with a HUD of classic colors and a tinting page so you can make just about any color you desire.
Hello hello, Fab Fam! I hope ya’ll had a wonderful holiday with family and friends and fun festivities. We had a quiet little Christmas here at home but it was still a lovely time.
Now I know that the big day of gifting is over but we have SO many things still going on in SL. Like the 54 event headed up by LeLutka. See what I did there? 😛 As Ms Aline showed us, Lelutka is giving away two gorgeous full version mesh Heads: Raven and Quinn. And I got all inspired to make a totally FREE avatar with only things off the 54 list.
Remember our kids, Kerydwyn and Alistar from the “Makeover Mondays” posts? I rounded them up again to make fresh new avis! Let’s start with Kerydwyn since the list is mostly female oriented. As per last time, Kerydwyn is wearing the free version of the Legacy Classic mesh body and it’s the only thing I didn’t get off of the 54 Event list. I will be doing a guys only post tomorrow with Alistar using the 54 List.
Lots of designers are offering their take on the Raven head, in fact most of the skin gifts included their own face shape and brow shape. I picked the “Nicole” shape and skin from Clef De Peau. And believe me, it was hard to pick just one shape from all the gorgeous one on the list. The Nicole shape will shape your entire body not just the head for a nice cohesive look.
I also ended up wearing the Nicole “RoseKiss” skin from Clef De Peau made to match the Velour skin tones. It’s such a nice fresh faced skin with subtle details and a sweet glow to it. I did however love many of the other skins. There’s a skin for just about everyone here. From super vampire pale to deep exotic darks. In fact, Moccino’s gift is all shades of delicious browns and ambers and Nuve has ten fantasy colored skins too!
The body skin is from Velour and as always it’s a stunning creation. Velour is giving out full body skins for Legacy and Reborn. This is the “Venus Athletic” design body skin, “RoseKiss”. I love when designers collaborate and make for the shades offered by other designers. But, if you need a neck blender, I HIGHLY recommend the free fixes from Bold & Beauty which is another free gift on the 54 List.
EDITED to add -> I do apologize, the neck fixes are contained in the gift for “Nicholas”. While that gift is free, the fixes are designed for male skins/anatomy. So your mileage may vary
Now on to eyes. This is the “Mistletoe Collection” from Gloom. It’s a nice little fatpack of eye colors ranging from blue to brown and a neat half and half colored one. The gift includes BOM versions and appliers for LeLutka and Omega.
There are several designers offering hair bases for the List but my favorite is this sleek style from Not Found. This designer is offering a collaboration with Doux for this event. The hair bases lines up with a super long pony tail which you pick up at the Doux shop. As you can see, I skipped the pony tail and went with a sweet bow and bun. “The Gift Hair” from Studio Exposure comes with a HUD for 8 colors of ribbon and 33 hair colors for the bun. Plus you get the cute little flexi bangs too.
Last but certainly not least are the beautiful earrings from Andore. These are the “Igdry” set. In the gift you’ll find pairs for both LeLutka Evo X human ears and the Elf ears and a HUD to change both the gem colors and the metals. Not little HUDs either… HUDS with 7 metals and 10 colors of gems. There are also a pair of free Christmas earrings at Andore too!
So there she is! A full avatar for free! Now is a great time to get a top of the line mesh head and skins, shapes and makeup and hair from some of SL best designers. Lookin’ like champagne on a beer budget! The 54 Event requires you to join each designers Group to grab the gifts but all the groups are set to free. This is a great time to get in those groups that may be too expensive at other times of the year. And be sure to look around each shop. Many have loads of free group gifts out as well as the 54 List ones. I was able to pick up a ton of free eyeshadows and lipsticks as well as other skins.
And one last note. I did not edit the shape you see at all. I simply wore what the designers gave us. That said, the shapes are modifiable! So find one you like and use it as a base or a starting point to design your own look if you don’t like the “right out of the box” look.

Some days even though the air is hot and sticky, you just need to be outside in it. I can’t quite describe what is so calming about listening to the sounds of the world around you and simply existing in the stillness of a late summer afternoon.
Miix Event Gifts
Summer can’t last forever, and neither will the Miix event gifts by Furtacor. The Miix event will end September 20th. Blue is wearing Furtacor’s group gift for the men. His sleeveless shirt comes in several sizes with the skull and guitars graphic shown. My watermelon print bikini is the group gift for the women. You’ll need the event group tag to claim the free gifts (they are packaged together). The Miix event group is free to join.
Blue also picked up his shorts for free at MG Designs. They are a free gift for the Stay at Home Club. These shorts come in the blue wave-like pattern shown, and several mesh sizes. There’s also an alpha layer included in the package. MG Designs has gifts for men and women, but get them quickly. Stay at Home Club officially ends on September 25th. Some gifts may not remain available. No group is needed.
Also, this sweet couples pose Blue and I are in is one of several free group gifts at Belleposes. The Belleposes group is free to join. The group gifts are on the wall near the desk at the landing point. There are multiple couples poses and static female pose gifts.
I think I’m determined to visit every seaside spot on the grid. To say I am afflicted with wanderlust would be an understatement. This time Blue discovered a beautiful little slice of paradise where we could spend the days playing in the water and the evenings relaxing deckside watching the sun go down.
In preparation for a our excursion we picked up a few of the many free group gifts at Amias. These plush towels are an absolutely must-have. They come in a his and hers version and include a texture hud with quite a few choices to pick from. They are free with the Amias group tag. Coincidentally the Amias group is also free to join. Hey Fab Free, I’ve got a story for you. If you’ve ever lived with someone, a roommate, a significant other, a sibling, whomever, you’ve probably walked in on some moments and thought “I wish I had a camera right now.” Well thank you technology, I had one when I walked in on Blue rocking out like there was an episode of Soul Train happening in our Livingroom. Really, it was a little bit Footloose, and a little bit Risky Business, with a dash of Saturday Night Fever complete with mood lighting and a killer stage outfit. So I did what any girlfriend would do, I took photos and posted them on Social Media.
Aside from the good giggle, and a bit of eye-candy, there is a freebie aspect to this post I promise. The Green Door
The sofa and chair come from The Green Door, and are part of their free Stay at Home Club gift. The full set includes a natural wood coffee table, and a rug. This set is copy and mod so you can rez out multiples, which I think is important with furniture and décor.
Myth
Our Livingroom rug is another freebie for Stay at Home Club. This one comes from Myth and comes in a 3 pack of different floor rugs in subtle neutral colors.

Aline told you a bit about the female body. Here’s the free Classic Mesh male Body, at The Shops. It wasn’t free for me unfortunately I had to pay one Linden to get it delivered and I didn’t get a refund of my Linden. Maybe it’s a glitch, or perhaps men have to pay a Linden for it. I don’t know. Just so your aware you’ll need $1 Linden to get it. It’s a nice looking body, has a lot of different skin shades in the HUD. I picked one out to wear and was able to nearly match my Catwa head to the body shade.
BOM
It is also Baked On Mesh compatible. If you’re going to wear old system skins, your finger nails and toenails will not match you with the skins. I also tried my Stray Dog Belleza Jake BOM skin on it. The only problem I had was the toe nails not matching up. If you wear shoes then you’re good to go. Have fun mixing and matching the BOM skins you have and see if they’ll work. Otherwise go digging around in your inventory for old TMP skins and put them to use.
Styling
This body can be used with TMP clothes if you have any in your inventory. From what I hear, even the new Legacy clothes will fit. Which is great news for us gents, because some designers only put out clothes for Legacy at times. Otherwise, you can put the Alpha cuts to use, via the HUD, and make the clothes fit. It’ll take you some time to get it, since the Sim is full.
Waiting
It took me over 3 hours before I was able to get into The Shops to get this body. Right now we all have an abundance of time. So don’t be disheartened, keep on trying, and be patient because this body is well worth the wait if you’re just starting out here in Second Life or you’ve been here awhile and are looking for a change. You can’t beat the price, that’s for sure. In order to get this body you’ll need to:
1. Join the The Shops! group. Copying and pasting this into local chat: secondlife:///app/group/62324162-b5a6-3521-5c5e-f44fae20c4a2/about
2. TP to The Shops mainstore,which will take some time. Once there click on “get started” accept the experience (it’ll show up on the top right of your screen)
3. It will take you to an area where you can choose Male or Female, click on the body you want
4. When you land at the next spot, you’ll see “Classic Gift Edition”, pay $1 Linden and it’ll be delivered to you.

Hello hello Fab Free’rs! I think there’s some unspoken rule that when dating someone you must at some point wear one of their shirts. I’ve certainly stolen borrowed Blue’s shirts before. This time I claimed his pajama shirt; though honestly I don’t think it bothered him at all. These royal blue heart print pajamas are the his and hers Sin City 3 hunt prize at The Sissy Bar.
