Fab Free Designer Friday 2.0 – You by GeMyles

Hello hello Fab Free’rs! It’s Friday night and many of us are quarantining or staying home and staying safe. I hope you’re all well. That said, Second Life is the perfect place to spend a stay-home kind of night. While you’re here, I highly suggest you check out You by GeMyles. For this edition of Fab Free Designer Friday 2.0 I’m happy to share all that You by GeMyles has to offer.

You by GeMyles is a ladies clothing boutique that has a chic classy style, with a side of sexy. Most of the fashion at You by GeMyles consists of dresses, lingerie, and shoes. There are two floors of couture to browse, so you’ll be sure to find something you like. As expected the first floor is where you’ll find things like new releases, event offers, and even a few of the several group gifts. You can also pick up a bargain for Golden Days Weekly Sales on the first floor. The second floor has the bulk of the many free and inexpensive group gifts, the Madness board, Lucky chairs, a Rez Day gift, and more. You’ll also find the outlet area of You by GeMyles on the second floor with quite a few discounted offers.

You by GeMyles Store Group & Other Gifts

At this time the store group at You by GeMyles is free to join, and yes there are group gifts. You’ll want to start on the first floor. Starting inside the main entrance, head to the right and just inside the entry into that room you’ll find a group gift for the GeMyles group. It’s a cute leather skirt in a khaki green color. In this same spot you can also pick up a free Stay at Home club gift romper (no group needed), and another leather skirt which does require a group tag for the Fitmesh Fanatics group. That group is free to join as well. Please be advised, because many of the vendors are Casper Vend, you may need to pay one linden then be instantly refunded your one linden to get the gift.

Next you’ll want to head to the second floor of You by GeMyles. There you’ll find the afore mentioned outlet bargains, as well as more group gifts and freebies. There’s another free You by GeMyles group gift, and a second Stay at Home Club freebie. In addition you can pick up the Fabulously Free in SL group gift in this spot. I’ll tell you more about that in a bit. Aside from several group gifts which I’ll list below along with any join fees, there is a no group needed Midnight Madness board, and four no group needed Lucky Chairs.

Previously posted in our Group Gift Listing, the free gift from You by GeMyles is a cute knee-length dress with a little bit of an ’80s flair to the cut. You’ll find it waiting for you on the second floor at You by GeMyles. Don’t forget to wear your Fab Free tag!

The Last of Summer

Some days even though the air is hot and sticky, you just need to be outside in it. I can’t quite describe what is so calming about listening to the sounds of the world around you and simply existing in the stillness of a late summer afternoon.

Miix Event Gifts

Summer can’t last forever, and neither will the Miix event gifts by Furtacor. The Miix event will end September 20th. Blue is wearing Furtacor’s group gift for the men. His sleeveless shirt comes in several sizes with the skull and guitars graphic shown. My watermelon print bikini is the group gift for the women. You’ll need the event group tag to claim the free gifts (they are packaged together). The Miix event group is free to join.

There’s also an alpha layer included in the package. MG Designs has gifts for men and women, but get them quickly. Stay at Home Club officially ends on September 25th. Some gifts may not remain available. No group is needed.

My New Bumbly Friend

Coming Soon to Fab Free

Hey Fab Free! Aline recently posted about the end of the Stay at Home Club event. This event was incredible, and I am so thankful to the organizers of the event and to the participating designers for all of the free gifts we have been given in the last few months. Today I will be showing you one of the amazing new and final gifts from the Stay at Home Club by Astara, and how to get this adorable sweater by Mooh!, all for under ten linden.

The Last Goodies at the Stay at Home Club

I am showing one of the last free gifts from the Stay at Home Club, which is this pet called Bumbly friend by Astara. It’s such a cute pet, and it comes in three versions. One sits on your head, another rests on your shoulder and the third one is holdable. As soon as I saw the ad for this little cutie I knew I had to have it. It’s so cute!

Astara has a bunch of other free Stay at Home club gifts out at the store right now as well. Astara is a wonderful designer, and the gifts there are just incredible. The club is ending on September 25th, so make sure you check out all of the gifts still available on their gifts webpage before that date, as the club and the gifts will no longer be available after the 25th. The types of gifts available range from home decor, men and women’s apparel, skins, shapes, makeup, accessories, and much more! There will be something for everyone, so take advantage of this amazing event while you still can.

This sweater is from Mooh!, and it is their new teleport hub group gift. Simply join the Teleport hub group for 10 L and the sweater is yours. The sweater come with an extensive colour hud. This sweater is cozy and perfect for the upcoming fall season.

Fab Free Designer Friday 2.0 – Kim’s Kreations

Hello Fab Free’rs! I hope everyone has been having a fantastic Friday. For this edition of Fab Free Designer Friday 2.0 I am so excited to share Kim’s Kreations with you. Kim’s Kreations is a quaint little furniture, decor, and landscaping shop with a cute shabby chic feel to the style of their products. You’ll find everything from trees and potted plants to skyboxes at Kim’s Kreations. Not only are the items really cute, and low prim, they are also very affordable. Everything at Kim’s Kreations is priced at 50 linden or less. Yes, everything.

While there is not an in-world group to join that I was able to find, there is a subscriber group at Kim’s Kreations. Joining the subscriber will keep you updated on all things Kim’s Kreations, including sales, promotions, and new releases. There’s also a super cute free subscriber autumn pumpkin decor item that you’ll get once you join.

Fabulously Free in SL Group Gift 

The fall foliage tree and cute teepee with string lights displayed in the center of Kim’s Kreations is the current free gift for Fabulously Free in SL group members. It really is every bit as cute as it sounds. The Fab Free group is of course free to join, so don’t miss this generous gift.

Other Group Gifts & Freebies 

At Kim’s Kreations there are quite a few free and almost free finds for your home and outdoor space. There’s an entire wall with more than 10 free gifts for Stay at Home Club. Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

Ok, I have a two pronged attack going on for my post today.  Number one:  I love guinea pigs.  They are by far the cutest little furballs ever, and it’s awesome how they purr when you give them a cuddle.  Phew. I got that out of my system!

Item number two is some sad news, unfortunately!  The Stay at Home Club will be closing down operations quite soon.  On September 25th, the website, Discord, and inworld group will all be shutting down.  You can read all about the reasoning HERE.  Despite the sadness, I have to say that Stay At Home have brought me personally quite a bit of joy over the past few months!  2020 has for sure been a bit of a kick in the pants for us all, and the club has brought me some happiness on days when I needed it the most.  A big thank you to the organizers, Freya, Zac and Alex who put a lot of love into the whole thing.  Thanks guys!  We’ll miss you!

Smile it’s September!

Can you believe that September is finally here?! I feel like it’s been the longest summer I’ve ever experienced. Needless to say I am counting the days until it’s officially fall. Although, I kind of do enjoy this bit of time at the end of summer when you can start to mix a bit of autumn attire in with your warm weather wardrobe. I did just that with some finds from Pink Cream Pie and Red’s Little Secrets. Have fun, and happy weekend Fab Free’rs!

Pink Cream Pie

Pink Cream Pie put out this adorable turtle-neck sweater as their September group gift. I’m not sure whether the cute little critters across the chest are foxes or kitties, but just like the shirt says, they definitely make me smile. Pink Cream Pie has a join fee of 314 linden, and quite a few past group gifts still available.

Red’s Little Secrets

I love the look of the this skirt from Red’s Little Secrets with the sweater. It’s a free gift for the Stay at Home Club. There’s no need need to join a group for this free gift, just click the vendor and click “deliver.” I do want to point out that it does stick through the sweater in the back a little, but not enough that it bothered me. Even so, this free skirt could go with so many things, it’s well worth the effort to pick it up. Also, Red’s Little Secrets has several Stay at Home gifts, including some male items.
