Smile it’s September!

Can you believe that September is finally here?! I feel like it’s been the longest summer I’ve ever experienced. Needless to say I am counting the days until it’s officially fall. Although, I kind of do enjoy this bit of time at the end of summer when you can start to mix a bit of autumn attire in with your warm weather wardrobe. Hello There Fab Free’rs! Can you believe it’s the end of the week already?! I know I’m ready for the weekend. I’ve talked before about being drawn to the sea, about having a great love for the water. When I saw this kelpie jewelry set group gift at Vengeful Threads, I might have squealed with delight! Half fish half horse, these mythological creatures are a favorite of mine. Thanks to Astrid having posted about the Anniversary round of TWE12VE, I decided to check it out for myself. You can take a look at her post featuring a few gifts from the TWE12VE event here. Opalescent Claws

There is something mythological about the opalescent shimmer of the nail applier gift at TWE12VE by LIVIA. It is really beautiful in person. I can honestly say that even with my usual preference of dark polish, this is my new favorite manicure. The set from LIVIA will work for both fingernails and toenails. Empire

These adorable shoes are the September group gift at Empire. The shoes include a detailed color change hud that lets you change individual parts of the shoe, as well as the metal parts. Fall Feelings

Hello there Fab Free’rs! Can you believe it’s almost October!? I’m so ready for all things fall I can barely contain my excitement. Needless to say when I saw this incredibly girly coat from Vintage Touch, I had to share it with you. The coat is the current group gift at Vintage Touch and it comes in standard mesh sizes and one fitmesh. I love the style and the pattern of this coat/dress. The rose pattern reminds me of vintage English Tea Rose patterns that always catch my eye. The gift also comes with some stockings in a classic system layer, and an Omega applier that I did not show. I chose to throw on a pair of jeans and boots to wear the gift as a coat rather than a dress. To add this pretty coat to your own wardrobe, you’ll need to join the Vintage Touch in-world group. To go along with my fancy new coat, I picked up this pretty pink crystal necklace from Imbue. There are several group gifts available at Imbue, this simple yet pretty necklace is the most recent. Like tea roses, I’m kind of a sucker for crystals. The necklace comes in a rigged and unrigged mesh version, and you have the option of either a gold or silver pendant. Both are strung on a thin black cord. To get this gift at Imbue, simply join their updates group in world. There is a one time fee of 50 lindens, however the gifts currently available are worth the fee.

Freak Show Fashion

Hello Fab Free! It’s great to see you again! Don’t let the creepy monkey or the dramatic lighting fool you, the gifts I have to share with you aren’t creepy at all, rather they are quite fabulous! For this post I have three items to share with you, a group gift dress from Blaraby, a group gift necklace from ECCO, and a pair of group gift shoes from Empire.  This is one of those times when several gifts seem almost meant to go together. There are several group gifts to be had a Blaraby, but this “Bambi” dress really caught my eye. I love the style, and the color. This mesh dress comes in standard mesh sizes and fitted sizes for Slink Physique, Slink Hourglass, and Maitreya Lara. To get this lovely belted dress, head over to Blaraby and join the group, then click the gift vendor while wearing your group tag. ECCO also has several group gifts available to all their group members. The most recent is their August group gift. This pretty little necklace from ECCO has detailed swallows and a single gemstone. The gift includes a color change hud to change the metal color and the gemstone color. To pick up this sweet gift, join the in world group and click the vendor while wearing your tag. You’ll also see a shelf full of previous gifts near by. The ECCO group has a one time join fee of 200 lindens.

Finally, I’m honestly never disappointed in the group gifts from Empire. September’s group gift is this laced up over the knee heel in two special colors. The gift includes a pair of shoes in red, and in purple to fit the bodies and feet for Slink, Maitreya, Belleza, and TMP.  Also included with this group gift is a color change hud to adjust the color of the sole, and the metal parts of the shoes. There is a one time join fee for the Empire group of 499 lindens. However, the fee pays for it’s self in the form of an always stellar monthly gift.

Hunting Temptation

Hello there Fab Free! I’ve finally made it back from the land of Real World and I’m excited to be here! First, I do want to say my apologies for the very basic photos, Second Life has not been playing nicely with my computer the last several days. Hopefully whatever is causing problems will correct itself soon. That said, I’m so excited about all I have to show you.

Recently Indulge Temptation (!IT!) celebrated their first anniversary in Second Life. In celebration they are having an in-store hunt with 12 fantastic prizes set at 10 lindens each. This is the perfect opportunity to fill your virtual jewelry box with some gorgeous jewelry. There are two complete sets to be found among the 12 boxes. Pictured in the upper right of the photo collage is the complete Luster set. The set includes a color/size change hud for versatility and easy fitting. I think the ring is set for Slink hands, however I had no problem adjusting it for my Maitreya hands. The second set is called Enchanted Rose. Everything This Wolf Could Want

The time to grab up the amazing deals at the Bi-Annual Cart Sale at The Wash is quickly running out! This round of The Cart Sale ends September 16th. This your last chance!
