Donut Bring Me Down

I’m feeling a bit like I’m trying to take on the sweet aspects of a donut today.  It’s all about the pink and sprinkles and just a hint of the crazy.  I don’t really know where the leather lingerie fits in with the donut thing, since I’m fairly certain that the two don’t go hand in hand, but nevertheless I’m feeling sweet and cute!  Let’s get to the gifties!

The TRUTH and secrets

Good morning FabFree Readers! If you can’t trust your best girl with your secrets, who can you trust right?  Pru and I are constantly buzzing in each other’s ears about this, that and the other thing and last night was no exception.  She was so excited to tell me about the new TRUTH group gift that she teleported right over to show it to me.

Of course I was already wearing it too, because who doesn’t put on their new TRUTH gift as soon as it comes through, right?  Pru arrived with her hair styled down with no shoulder tendrils, while I had mine styled up with the falling shoulder tendrils.  It made me giggle a little, because it’s a perfect explanation of our friendship. We may look at fashion and style in completely different ways, but we are on the inside the same kindred spirits most often on the same wavelength.  It was after all the perfect way to display the gift.. differently!

About the latest gift

The TRUTH inworld group does have a join fee of 350L (which is roughly the cost of a single pack of hair these days!), but in the group charter promises 12 gifts per year, and in the past most of these gifts have been full fatpacks with stylist HUD systems!  This new gift by TRUTH is called Kaijah and includes all the colours along with a butterfly headband and several options in the hair stylist HUD.

Meow Meow Hi Fab Free! Haha I hope you’re enjoying the weekend. I have to say mine is going pretty well so far. Have you been by the Pose Fair yet?! I feel like I’ve been talking about it a ton, but with good reason. I am not exaggerating when I say there are so many free gifts at the Pose Fair. The Boots – Have you seen the Fabulously Free in SL group  gift listing recently? It’s looking pretty good. The gifts do change periodically, so if you haven’t checked them out recently, you should definitely take a look. I picked up these high heeled ankle boots for free at Sexy Princess while wearing my Fab Free group tag. The Fab Free group is always free to join. These cute boots come in sizes to fit Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza feet.

The Tattoo – Finally, the dainty floral linework tattoo on Pru’s upper arm is a 10 linden group only purchase available at Letis Tattoo. You will need to join the Letis Tattoo group to purchase this inexpensive find, however the group is free to join. As much as I do like to be heavily inked, sometimes I enjoy these beautiful more subtle tattoos just as much as a full body one. Hello There Fab Free’rs! Can you believe it’s the end of the week already?! I know I’m ready for the weekend. I’ve talked before about being drawn to the sea, about having a great love for the water. When I saw this kelpie jewelry set group gift at Vengeful Threads, I might have squealed with delight! Half fish half horse, these mythological creatures are a favorite of mine. Thanks to Astrid having posted about the Anniversary round of TWE12VE, I decided to check it out for myself. You can take a look at her post featuring a few gifts from the TWE12VE event here. Needless to say I am not at all disappointed in the gifts I picked up. Keeping with the number 12 theme, each vendor has a single gift set out for just 12 lindens. These long pastel locks are a TWE12VE event gift from Firelight Hair. This luscious long hair style from Firelight Hair comes in rigged and unrigged versions, as well as a fit for the bustier ladies. Opalescent Claws

There is something mythological about the opalescent shimmer of the nail applier gift at TWE12VE by LIVIA. It is really beautiful in person. I can honestly say that even with my usual preference of dark polish, this is my new favorite manicure. The set from LIVIA will work for both fingernails and toenails. Resting Witch Face

Hello hello Fab Free! Don’t worry, I’m not really gloomy. I just have “Resting Witch Face.” I’m sure some of you can relate to this. I’ve often been told I look upset or even angry when I am genuinely not. I just happen to look that way. So when I saw this FREE Subscriber gift tumbler from Astralia, I had to have it. Admittedly the rest of this look is inspired by the travel mug that cheekily reads “Resting Witch Face” with an arrow pointing up. The TRUTH

This hairstyle, much like Pru’s facial expression, is rather witchy if I do say so myself! These cropped curls are the September Group Gift for TRUTH VIP Group members. As with all the group gifts from TRUTH, this one is a fatpack. Additionally it has a stylist hud so you can change up the style of the hair. I went with this little side braid. I think I’ll be wearing it for a while. Currently the TRUTH VIP group is 350 linden to join.

Cubic Cherries

The top and the bindi Pru has on are both recent group gifts at Cubic Cherry. I think there was even another group gift sent out in the group notices today! I know there are several available at the store. Anyway, I digress, this top is really cute if you’re going for a casual goth look. It comes in a single mesh size (which I think is meant for TMP and could easily be unisex), and in 4 color variations, black & white (shown), black & red, white & black, and white & red. The top fits like a slouchy over-sized tee on my shape/body, which I’m totally okay with. The second gift is the triangular Norse bindi. I like bindis in general, but I think this one is very cool because it’s different from a lot of the ones I am used to seeing. This Cubic Cherry gift comes in black (shown), brass, gold, and silver.
