There’s this thing that happens in summer where the minute I get ready for something summery (today on the menu is surfing…) the clouds appear, or the wasps show up and all my summer plans are dashed.  Happily, I can avoid all the unpleasantness with a bit of windlight magic in SL!

Lavendula Angustifolia

There’s nothing I love more than Lavender.  It’s been an important part of my life for years and years.  I love the way it looks, the way it smells, and all the memories it brings back of trips I took to the South of France.  I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before here, but I’m the kind of person who has a little sachet of the stuff under my pillow to ensure sweet dreams.  I get to decorate my home in it in SL, and that brings me just a little spark of joy!

Wash it Up!

The Wash Event continues, and really the more you explore the more you find!  I couldn’t resist these gorgeous decor items by Kaerri.  The elegant chairs are the things that dreams are made of for me, and the fact that each decor item cost only 25L is a deal and a half.  I got the chairs, curtains, mirror, and planters there and I couldn’t be happier!  There are a bunch of other items too, including a table and lots of little plants.  I can just imagine the scent!

While I was at The Wash, I also picked up this sweet outfit by Shae’s.  The top and jeans cost just 25L each, and they are a perfect fit.  I love the way it all looks on – the perfect mix of comfort and sexy.  There are a bunch of different colours to choose from, as well as different jean washes to satisfy all your denim cravings.  You can even pick up the matching shoes to the set for just 50L at their display.

Hi Fab Free, question, is it still called breakfast if it’s not morning? I don’t know about you, but I could eat bacon, sausage, and eggs any time of day. Ah, Fab Free…the creative juices are a-flowin!  And there’s a sentence that sounded better in my head.  Despite my clunky phrase, the sentiment remains the same!  I’m all about the artistic pursuits, whether in RL or SL, so why not adorn your SL affordably?  Read on!

So De’Fient

My lovely boots and dress are the offering by De’Fient Unicorn at The Wash Crisp n Cool Cart Sale.  They come bundled together and are priced at a very affordable 50L.  I’d pay way more than that for the boots alone!  I also picked up the long cardigan at the same stall, and it only cost me 1L.  Cute, right?

Easel-y Done

Terrible subtitles aside, I love the whole art set I picked up at The Cart Sale by Luna Rose.  The easel I’m painting on and the stool came together and cost 50L.  The exciting part is that the canvas has a function that lets you paint gradually.  In other words, the painting appears more and more complete each time you click on it and there are two different paintings to choose from.  Fun!  I also picked up the canvases on the ground in my shot at the same cart, and they set me back only 25L.  I love to decorate in SL, so these were fun buys for me!
