Guilty Pleasures

Hello Fab Free! If you’ve ever seen the movie Ocean’s Eleven you’re familiar with Brad Pitt’s character in the film and the fact that he always had snacks. I find that very relatable. lol Thankfully Second Life makes it so easy to be indulgent. Today I got to indulge my fondness for food, and fashion.

Le Poppycock

This delicious looking pink drink and the corresponding bento pose are one of the many gachas from the “Guilty Pleasures” gacha set by Le Poppycock currently featured at The Pose Fair. These gacha poses are all various sweets and savory treats that I couldn’t resist spending a few lindens on. This Le Poppycock gacha is just 69 lindens per play, and since they are transferrable you can trade them. The Pose Fair is open until September 28th. Afrotay

Now for the fashion! This cute red dress is a free group gift by Afrotay. I couldn’t resist the stylized snake graphic. I think it’s so interesting and unique. I also really like the way the shoulder straps come together in the back, and I am wishing I’d taken a photo of it to share with you. The dress comes in a pretty bright yellow color as well as this vibrant red. The Afrotay group is free to join, and there are multiple group gifts available.

Crazy Cat Lady

I don’t think anyone really sets out to become a “Crazy Cat Lady.” I think it’s something that sort of claims you. From the first kitten/cat that enters your life, the seed of cat lady-ness (or in some cases, crazy cat guy-dom)  germinates. I also think that from then on other cats know you’re now a “cat person” and they find you. Whether it be a stray kitten meowling for help in the parking lot where you work, or adoption ads from animal shelter pages on social media… they find you. Suddenly you find yourself in this situation, crouching on the floor with several of what you now refer to as your fur babies.

All the kitties aside, I do have some fantastic freebies to share with you. My top is a free group gift by UNA at the Itty Bitty Titty Committee event. My stylish bun is a freebie as well. It’s a free gift at SHEGO. Keep reading for details about both free finds, while I herd these silly cats into the kitchen for some food and water.

UNA

Yes, you read that right. There is an event titled Itty Bitty Titty Committee. It’s geared toward the recent influx of chest sizes choices with some of the female bodies. The important part here is that UNA has a free group gift at the event. This cute top is free to all UNA group members. There’s a group joiner at the IBTC event, and the UNA group is free to join. This top comes in quite a few sizes, and has a color/texture change hud with lots of options. There’s also a cool glowing UNA logo on the back of the shirt, and an optional glowing UNA pin that attaches on the front of the shirt.

SHEGO

Once again I’ve been doing some exploring in Second Life, and I’m glad I did. I came across a hair shop called SHEGO that has this ultra cute top bun for free. There’s no group needed, just purchase the hairstyle from the vendor for zero linden. This style comes with an Omega applier hair base, and a system layer hair base. The bun part of the style, and the side wisps are mesh.

Caticorn Cuteness

Hellooo there Fab Free! Does anyone else sometimes dress to fit their mood? I find a lot of the time my outfit is an almost direct reflection of how I am feeling or what I want to project. That said, these caticorns from Reed definitely suit my silly playful mood. Together the pose and the outfit are such a fun vibe. My playful pose is a group gift by Hazeel at the Pose Fair. I love it when I find free gifts that play well together!

Smile it’s September!

Can you believe that September is finally here?! I feel like it’s been the longest summer I’ve ever experienced. Needless to say I am counting the days until it’s officially fall. Although, I kind of do enjoy this bit of time at the end of summer when you can start to mix a bit of autumn attire in with your warm weather wardrobe. Pink Cream Pie

Pink Cream Pie put out this adorable turtle-neck sweater as their September group gift. I’m not sure whether the cute little critters across the chest are foxes or kitties, but just like the shirt says, they definitely make me smile. Pink Cream Pie has a join fee of 314 linden, and quite a few past group gifts still available.

Red’s Little Secrets

I love the look of the this skirt from Red’s Little Secrets with the sweater. It’s a free gift for the Stay at Home Club. There’s no need need to join a group for this free gift, just click the vendor and click “deliver.” I do want to point out that it does stick through the sweater in the back a little, but not enough that it bothered me. Even so, this free skirt could go with so many things, it’s well worth the effort to pick it up. Also, Red’s Little Secrets has several Stay at Home gifts, including some male items.
