It’s Just Another Day In Paradise

The summer vibes just keep flowing and I, for one, couldn’t be happier about it. Here are today’s must haves:

Underground

There is another hunt going on at V8 Underground. I told you about a previous hunt there not too long ago with some really great prizes, so I had go have a look-see. This time it is a Spring Hunt and the prizes are so springy-summery-fabulous. Each prize is a full outfit with jewelry and shoes. The prizes only cost 10L each. 10L for a complete look. My slurl should take you to some hunt information including a picture of all of the prizes and an example of the statue that you need to find scattered around the store to claim said prizes. I picked up number 15 and I am so obsessed with this color. The top, skirt, and earrings are part of the prize as well as shoes and panties that you can’t see, and a bunch of other jewelry and sunglasses that I’m not wearing. I like to keep things simple, ya know? The V8 Underground Spring Hunt has 20 prizes and lasts until June 12th.

Tickled Pink

There’s nothing quite like a smattering of pink.  Though I’d say this is more than a smattering, It’s a veritable deluge!  I’m not complaining though, give me all the pinkness!

Days Gone By

Belle Epoque have brought back two of their older hunts, and I’m not complaining one bit.  I’m having a few flashbacks, which may have me feeling a bit older than I’d like, but that’s ok, it’s all in the name of fashion.  Each item on this hunt is just 10L, and sized for Maitreya bodies.  There are plenty of really cute items, but I settled on showing off the very pretty pink dress that inspired my rose fantasy.  The hunt is running until June 15th, and you can check out what’s on offer below.

Making My Way Downtown

Caroline told you all that up here in Canadaland it’s a long weekend.  We’re celebrating the sorta unofficial beginning of Summer with Victoria Day weekend, and I’m ready to party.  Just have to grab this train downtown so I can paint the town Victorian purple (don’t think that’s a thing, but whatevs).

There’s also a new group gift at Movement!  I love accessories and bento holdables so much in SL, it just seems to make things a little more detailed and life-like, and there are just so many cute things you can carry around.  This little wristlet wallet and keys come in several different colours to co-ordinate with your outfit, and they’re just adorbs.  The Movement group is 150L to join, and you’ll find a few other group gifts tucked around in the back corner.  Find this one on the main counter of the store.

Analog Dog

My hairstyle is also free for you all over at Analog Dog! It’s technically the SLFO gift, but currently it isn’t set to any group, so you just have to buy it for 0L.  It comes with a massive HUD of any colour you can possibly imagine, and it gives you a jaunty little allure with the high ponytail.  I live!

Bring On Victoria Day Weekend

Happy Victoria Day weekend, FabFree! Cheers to a 3 day weekend for all the Canadians out there! This a fun little holiday we have down in Canada which is generally seen as an opening weekend for all things summer. Lots of Canadians open up their cottages this weekend or host a celebratory summer party or barbeque. In case you didn’t know, Victoria Day in Canada celebrates Queen Victoria, one of Britain’s longest-reigning monarchs in history. This holiday is a uniquely Canadian tradition and Canadians have been celebrating the Monday before May 25th as a celebration of Queen Victoria since 1845.

Oh Joy.

In a true Queen Victoria fashion, this pretty updo is a group gift available for all members of the TRUTH group. This is an older gift, but a classic and one of my favourite hairstyles of all time.
