Ok ok, it’s still November, and Fall is still in full swing in the Northern Hemisphere, I know… The thing is, up here in the frozen marches of the North, snow has become quite prevalent for many of us Canucks! Time to face up to the realities of the marshmallow world! Maybe we can even try to enjoy it a bit? May as well give it a try!

In Dark Water
It’s always nice when the weather turns cool to have a fun event to look forward to. The Wash churns out a great discount event several times per year, and this season’s is no different. You’ll find plenty to love, just like I did! My first stop was the Dark Water Designs display. This floral jumper gives me all the right 90’s feels that are perfect for this time of year! If florals aren’t your jam, then there are some really nice plaids too. Best of all, this top and jumper set only costs 30L. Oh, and there’s even an iced coffee in the box for you. Perfect!
There’s this thing that happens in summer where the minute I get ready for something summery (today on the menu is surfing…) the clouds appear, or the wasps show up and all my summer plans are dashed. Happily, I can avoid all the unpleasantness with a bit of windlight magic in SL!
Sun-Sational
The Wash’s Sun-Sational Event is still raging on this month, and I came across this super cute bikini and sandals outfit courtesy of Artic Storm. There are several different colours to choose from at The Wash, and I went for the pink option. The whole outfit is a steal at just 25L! How awesome is that?

There’s nothing I love more than Lavender. It’s been an important part of my life for years and years. I love the way it looks, the way it smells, and all the memories it brings back of trips I took to the South of France. I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before here, but I’m the kind of person who has a little sachet of the stuff under my pillow to ensure sweet dreams. I get to decorate my home in it in SL, and that brings me just a little spark of joy!
Wash it Up!
The Wash Event continues, and really the more you explore the more you find! I couldn’t resist these gorgeous decor items by Kaerri. The elegant chairs are the things that dreams are made of for me, and the fact that each decor item cost only 25L is a deal and a half. I got the chairs, curtains, mirror, and planters there and I couldn’t be happier! There are a bunch of other items too, including a table and lots of little plants. I can just imagine the scent!
Clothed in Comfort
While I was at The Wash, I also picked up this sweet outfit by Shae’s. The top and jeans cost just 25L each, and they are a perfect fit. I love the way it all looks on – the perfect mix of comfort and sexy. There are a bunch of different colours to choose from, as well as different jean washes to satisfy all your denim cravings. You can even pick up the matching shoes to the set for just 50L at their display.

Ari Pari- Scala Tin/Yang Event
The Dress and Anklet I have on is from Ari-Pari. They have a little sale going on at their store which is connected to the Scala Yin/Yang Event. I got this dress for only 45L, and the anklet is free (a Yin/Yang gift), which you can wear on both feet. Both items have a colour hud which match each other. These items will be available through the weekend. I love this outfit! There are also a bunch of freegifts and cheap hunts going on at Ari-Pari, so check those out while you visit the store!
This Little Side Bag
I picked up this straw shoulder bag from S@bbia as a freegroup gift. It’s really well made and it’s super cute! It goes perfect with this boho look.
Anyone Love Gustav Klimt?
One of my favourite artists is Gustav Klimt, a 20th-century modernist. Naturally, I loved this necklace from Luminesse! I grabbed the Gustave pendant at the Wash, which only costs 3L. They have a bunch of other 3-10 L steals in their booth as well as free gifts! The Wash Event is open until April 15th, so you still have time to grab all the cheap deals and gifts!
Mila Free Genus Applier!
I know some of you likely saw this skin offer on Fab Finds recently, but I am currently wearing the freehead applier from Neomenia in case you were wondering! It is a head applier called Mila for Genus heads. Simply join their freegroup to grab this lovely gift. To match the head to your body, you will need to purchase body appliers from Pume C, or grab the body appliers as a group gifts if you are already in their group (PumeC has a 399 L join fee).
The “Shaza” Updo
I know you all love free hair, and this hair I have on is a current group gift from EscalateD. I love the detail of the braids at the back of Shaza. It has a huge colour hud and you can change the hair to natural or unnatural tones, and even split the hair colour down the middle and add highlights. The EscalteD group costs 99L to join. As a VIP member you get a bunch of benefits including group gifts, lucky boards, weekly raffles and a 15% discount from the store. They have a crazy number of gift hairs you can get by being part of their VIP group (plus an advent calendar at Christmas every year).
Witchy Heels

My first stop on my shopping stroll is the 1 Hundred at the Wash Event. I just love all the fresh spring pastels and soft girly looks here. I had to really debate which one I would show off. In the end, I picked this sweet little gingham nightie. Cause you all know how I like to lounge around. You get the cute little baby doll top and a pair of matching panties. The top is so cute I think it could go as a summer top with shorts or jeans too!
