On the 6th Day of Christmas…

Hello Dear Fabbies.  First of all, I apologize for vanishing for over a week.  To make it quick and move on with the post I’ll give you a short FYI:  I suffer from numerous health problems that tend to kick me off my feet for days at a time.  Ok let’s move on!

Today I’m doing something a little different for these Days of Christmas posts.  I cannot decide if I want to do only 12, or do the full number on Advent calendars.  However, the next few will be catch up and will cover stores that have Advent calendars with gifts available through Christmas.  If you have an opinion on any of this, feel free to voice it in the comments below!

On the 5th Day of Christmas…

Guess what?  It’s time for Day 5!  I was feeling very classy today with this post, but with a vintage twist.  I love each of these pieces that are included in this post and had to share them.

The beautiful chair I am sitting on is today’s gift at Zerkalo.  The fabric is such a lovely vintage/shabby-chic design.  There are several PG animations included as well.  Zerkalo‘s advent calendar is FREE for group members and the group is FREE to join.

I swooned over the luggage/travel decor in the center.  Aesthetically at least, I would have loved to live in that era.  But I have to remember these things were normal then and didn’t look old and vintage and cool like they do us now.  This decor set (all one piece) is the gift from Yasum today.  I got a cool surprise today when I was writing this up…it has poses!!!  Three female poses and three male.  Yasum‘s gifts are FREE with no group needed.

Next I have to share this gorgeous little Christmas tree from Lelutka.  I didn’t realize this but apparently they send a FREE tree every year to their group members (FREE to join).  This is not part of an advent calendar, but such an awesome gift, I had to tell you all about it.  And it totally fit the theme I was going for.

We are ready for Day 4 and I decided to get all comfy and cozy for this one. Do not miss all of the FabFree advent calendar posts, or the Advent Calendar Listing!

I absolutely adore this tree swing, which is the gift from Day 3 at Kim’s Kreations, and still available for FREE with no group needed. The swing includes several animation choices, you can see 2 of them in the photos in this post. It is also a grand total of only 6 Li.

Now for my cozy outfit…This is today’s gift at Pink&Love which includes the hoodie and the pants. The gifts from here are FREE with group tag, which is FREE to join. It comes with fits available for:

The skin I am wearing as well as the eyes are both from 7 Deadly Skins. The skin is a full BOM body skin and fits Lelutka Evo X heads. This particular skin comes in 7 tones with no eyebrow versions included for each as well. I am wearing the lightest option – Taupe. Oh, FabFree… how I have been enjoying Advent 2022 so far. The FabFree December Advent Listing has saved me yet again and I am loving the presents so far! I have dreams of advent calendars visiting me at night in my sleep instead of sugar plums…

The Advent Calendar @ Ari-Pari

Today,  I am showing one of the advent gifts from Ari-Pari. All of their past and current advent gifts are available from December 1st through to the New Year. You need to be a member of the Ari-Pari VIP group to participate in their advent calendar and a new gift will be put out each day until January 1st, 2023. It only costs 25L to be in the Ari-Pari VIP group, and new gifts are regularly released to group members. Ari-Pari recently reopened their new store and I was happy to visit one of my favourite stores again! ❤

Dancing in the Moonlight

Hey gang!

Somehow in my travels this week I found myself surrounded by magical lights.  I teleported to see the winter landscaping and landed in the most beautiful cluster of holiday lights ever!  Oh my lanta!!!!  I literally said “wow!” out loud, oh if I only had the lindens to get them!  (I really do want those lights!)

So, I decided to enjoy them where they were.  The moon was full, the lights were magical and I just danced blissfully in the midst of all that magic!  No music needed, just the wintery sounds of evening and the gentle glow of the lights under the watchful eyes of the full moon.

Festive Fashion and Holiday Treats

This hold-able mug full of holiday cheer is one of the several current group gifts. Also, the gingerbread man with his own hold animation is the Day 13 Advent gift at Sam’s Nails. What I like about these is the hold animation is set with a high priority so it should work with most Animation Overrides.  Both the advent gifts, and the group gifts require the Sam’s Nails group tag. The Spirit of Christmas

It’s almost Christmas Fab Free!! Are you ready? I am never ready. LOL However I look and feel one step closer with an irresistibly cute group gift from !gO!, a FREE skin from Essences, and a winter-y gacha from LODE. Got Your Gowns Right Here!

One of my Second Life passions is Roleplay. And one of my favorite characters is my glass sidhe fey (who’s name is Astrid of course!). She’s a bit of a vain thing… like most fey of course, and loves to look beautiful. So when I discovered that The White Armory was hosting an Advent Calendar I had to check it out, and I was not disappointed!

Like many of the other calendars, you can pick up a gift for each of the 24 days which count down the holiday. For this calendar, no group is required, the doors don’t ‘close’, and you can pick up each of the past gifts. Just pay 0L to receive the gown for each day FREE!

It is fully mesh in all the standard sizes to fit either system or mesh bodies with added flexi pieces (the flowers and a few nice touches around the bottom of the skirt to add ‘flow’ to the gown). The gloves are system so I was unable to wear them with my slink hands, but the gown was still drop dead gorgeous even without the gloves, so I wasn’t worried a bit!

This FREE summery little dress by The White Armory was behind advent door number 8 is called Summer Breeze (of course!), and is perfect for picnics in the park, Sunday walks, ladies in waiting, and much much more! It is a fully mesh dress in all the standard sizes with a few small flexi pieces which attach to the skirt at bottom to add flair and flow, so this dress will work perfectly for both system and mesh bodies.

This FREE gown is the gift for Day 2 on the advent calendar and is from The White Armory‘s Birthstone Collection, called Sublime Spirit Birthstone Gown December. It is perfect if you are still rocking your system body, and though it does not feature any mesh parts, the flexi layers are so well crafted that it falls and flows perfectly to make for a gorgeous ball gown or roleplay gown fit for a princess or elven queen, (or a vain fey like Astrid!).

This FREE White Armory gown was behind door number 6 and is aptly called “She’s So Dangerous” and actually has several options (not all are shown). While it works as a gown with a flexi skirt, it also has a pants option as well. The pants option is mesh as is the top in all the standard sizes, so if you are looking for an outfit that will work for a system body OR your mesh body this one will fit either one!

What I love about this outfit is the versatility. It is literally 3 outfits in one package… with two different dress options and one pant-suit option, and can pass for medieval… or is just ‘modern’ enough to fly for sci-fi!
