On the 5th Day of Christmas…

Guess what?  It’s time for Day 5!  I was feeling very classy today with this post, but with a vintage twist.  I love each of these pieces that are included in this post and had to share them.

The beautiful chair I am sitting on is today’s gift at Zerkalo.  The fabric is such a lovely vintage/shabby-chic design.  There are several PG animations included as well.  Zerkalo‘s advent calendar is FREE for group members and the group is FREE to join.

I swooned over the luggage/travel decor in the center.  Aesthetically at least, I would have loved to live in that era.  But I have to remember these things were normal then and didn’t look old and vintage and cool like they do us now.  This decor set (all one piece) is the gift from Yasum today.  I got a cool surprise today when I was writing this up…it has poses!!!  Three female poses and three male.  Yasum‘s gifts are FREE with no group needed.

Next I have to share this gorgeous little Christmas tree from Lelutka.  I didn’t realize this but apparently they send a FREE tree every year to their group members (FREE to join).  This is not part of an advent calendar, but such an awesome gift, I had to tell you all about it.  And it totally fit the theme I was going for.

On the 2nd Day of Christmas…

Here we are again for Day 2 of Advent Calendar hopping. Did you check out the amazing list that Aline put together yet? Today I have a mix of decor and fashion & beauty items to share with you.

All the Pretty Things

First I want to talk a bit about the decor I found. There are some gorgeous designs in the advent calendars this year.

• [CIRCA] Living has 4 gifts up for each yesterday and today. You need to be in the group to buy them, but the group is free . The gifts themselves are between L$0 and L$75 each. I am using bauble vases (up on the fireplace mantle) and the stacked gift sled from Day 1’s offerings. Both come in 2 color choices and are L$25 and L$50 respectively.
• Hutspot has another pretty little decor gift today as well. It’s the Ho Ho Ho wooden decor up on the fireplace mantle. Just a reminder that the calendar gifts are FREE at Hutspot and you don’t even need a group!
• I also want to point out the beautifully festive Christmas tree and wreath. They are available this weekend at FlyingArts as part of the Island Weekend Sale. So be sure to go check that out! FlyingArts has an advent calendar as well, also FREE and no group needed.

Witchy Woman

Tell me the truth now. Do I look witchy in this outfit? I’ve been traipsing about the grid gathering all the fabulous gifts available for Halloween. There are so many events occurring that it’s hard to keep up with everything. There exists in SL an enigma – the inventory. You delete as many items like landmarks, notecards, etc; thousands of those things. Then you start unpacking new gifts n’ stuff and you get back into the cycle again because the number of inventory items will multiply again!

Found at Swank my awesomely cool dress is a free gift you can pick up by joining the Swank group (Free to join). The skeleton hands provides ample support for bewbies, don’t ya think? Conjuring

I’ve been practicing my witching skills lately. Amazing how I forgot the words to spells and incantations. Please don’t tell my coven. Oh wait! I am a solo witch because I couldn’t find a Cajun coven. So anyhoo, I was trying to conjure my broom (I forgot where I parked it). I thought I said the correct words. These two evil looking pumpkins showed up instead. Guess I’d best do a a lot of reading.

It feels like Christmas in October in SL this month. Before we to December our inventories will be stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey!

Well, it’s a wild night here on the ranch.  And by ranch I mean on my platform in the sky where I’m beavering away at bloggy things.  I feel like perhaps I should instead be swinging on vines and stopping evil things from happening in jungles, but I’ll settle for a cool sip of lemonade while I admire my nails.  It’s a tough Second Life, but someone has to live it!
