On the 5th Day of Christmas…

Guess what?  It’s time for Day 5!  I was feeling very classy today with this post, but with a vintage twist.  I love each of these pieces that are included in this post and had to share them.

The beautiful chair I am sitting on is today’s gift at Zerkalo.  The fabric is such a lovely vintage/shabby-chic design.  There are several PG animations included as well.  Zerkalo‘s advent calendar is FREE for group members and the group is FREE to join.

I swooned over the luggage/travel decor in the center.  Aesthetically at least, I would have loved to live in that era.  But I have to remember these things were normal then and didn’t look old and vintage and cool like they do us now.  This decor set (all one piece) is the gift from Yasum today.  I got a cool surprise today when I was writing this up…it has poses!!!  Three female poses and three male.  Yasum‘s gifts are FREE with no group needed.

Next I have to share this gorgeous little Christmas tree from Lelutka.  I didn’t realize this but apparently they send a FREE tree every year to their group members (FREE to join).  This is not part of an advent calendar, but such an awesome gift, I had to tell you all about it.  And it totally fit the theme I was going for.

Now…this dress.  This is what started this whole post.  I opened this FREE dress gift up from Next Door Designs for Day 4 (still available) and I fell in love!  First I need to give a little instruction on getting their gifts.  You must join the group, which is FREE to join (you can right click the calendar and edit to find the group name) and then you right click and select to pay L$1 on the day you want to receive.  That L$1 is then immediately refunded.  Here are the fits for this dress:

I am not really good at hunts, I just don’t have the patience to look around and find all the goodies but the Vagrant Zerkalo Hunt was so much different.  You get hints on where the roses are and I need all the help I can get.  If I can find all the roses then anyone can and not only do you get great clothes there are also home decor items as well.

One of the free gifts are these great emerald jeans from Vagrant, with the chains hanging around my hip I felt badass so I needed a leather jacket and boots to complete this look.

Unwrapping the Idea

Do you hear the distant jingling of bells?  Yes, it’s still kinda distant – but for those of us who want to start prepping for the season of Advent and jollity, then there are some places that are set up and ready for all your hall-decking needs.  My whole thought process today is the idea of starting to get the decor out, the opening of the yearly boxes, getting ready to…get ready!  You can’t blame me for wanting a bit of celebratory spirit!

Snowdrops

All these lovely decor items are free gifts that I picked up at Snowdrops.  It’s a really lovely winter sim, all decked out as a small town that’s ready for holiday shopping.  Most of the stores in the main square have a free gift for everyone – no need to join a group.  I picked up the goodies from Pitaya, Kraftwork, Atelier Burgundy and Zerkalo, and now my Christmas decorating plans are all starting to take shape.  I’m not sure how long these gifts will be around, so you’ll forgive me for being *just a little* early with my bell tinkling – I want to make sure you get your mitts on the gifts!

My Cozy Corner

I have been having a lot of fun sharing news of home and garden items recently on the FabFree blog.  I suppose I have a bit of a decorating itch or something lately!   I put together a cozy little corner for myself in the sky and I thought I would share the deets with you incase you are interested in picking some of these sale/free items yourself!  You’ll have to be quick… I know some are very time sensitive.

You can find the Zerkalo Beanbag and Fancy Décor Table and Frames Set (which you can pop your own photos into!) featured at the current round of Cosmo Sales Room at affordable sale prices.  Zerkalo also has their My Father’s Shiny Shabby Treasures gacha machine set up at 1/2 the pull price, so it’s just 25L to play the machine.  If I remember correctly – this machine was released at the last round of the Shiny Shabby event in case you missed it.   I am displaying three of the gacha items I snagged (pile of books, pillows and rare large pile of books).  This round of Cosmo Sales Room ends very soon on 4/26/15 so if you’d like any of these items – go now!  Also – snag their free group gifts I showed you [HERE]!
