Soak Up The Sun

I love it when songs pop into my mind immediately after trying on an outfit, or changing it’s textures.  I knew the moment I saw the sunshiny texture on the this top, I was going to need to blog this outfit, and exactly what song title I’d use ☀️

It’s a new month and that means a new group gift over at [erotiK].  I learned of this store through it’s advent calendar and they make such cute things, this outfit clearly being one of those things!  The [erotiK] group is free to join, so this top and shorts are free to bring home.  Now, there’s 2 posters on the wall, when you join the group you have to click both of them.  The top is in one poster, the shorts are in another poster.  Each piece comes with a full color/texture/metal hud, a big beautiful fatpack gift.  It comes sized for:

I added these cute and free little sunglasses I found this past weekend at Boutique #187.  I had popped over to buy something I found in a weekend sale and there were 3 lucky boards staring at me.  I decided to wait a bit and see if I needed to be in the group to win, and a B popped right up and I won, no group needed!  These little glasses come with a fatpack hud, and a few different sayings on the lenses (or none at all) but of course I had to choose ME-OW ^..^

It’s already 90F with 80% humidity (ugh) here this week, which is enough to keep me OUT of the sun, but I do love I get to be a beachbum while sitting in the air conditioning of my own house too 😉

Looking For Any Tequila Sunrise

You might think, why is Cre in a gown in a desert? You have no idea how far us blog people go to find places or backdrops for posing in. I’ve been keeping a folder of landmarks of places for pictures. Sadly, it seems that as time rolls along many of them are no longer available. Today, I flew to Eden. It’s a beautiful sim with lots of sunshine.

My outfit today is one of those you can dress up or down. Do you want to look stunning or do you just want to go to the beach and maybe walk along the water’s edge? It’s one of a number of free group gifts at LRS (Group join fee is $50). The Eileen outfit consists of the top, skirt, and heels along with. Despite what the ad shows as different textures the outfit comes in this deep red color. I love, love, love red. For group members there are also lucky letter boards for the group. Eileen and the other gifts, boards are directly ahead when you climb to the second floor and then to the left of those vendors.

To Anthem!

Anthem is celebrating a 5th anniversary. Yay! When you arrive, you will notice that there are two piles of gifts on either side of the landing point. How nice of Anthem to pile them all up in a nice, easy location for us, eh? They are all priced super low, most are 25L or 50L and I didn’t see anything for more than 50L. As you may have guessed, that’s where I picked up my milkshake. It’s by ChicChica and I barely hesitated before trading 50L for such delicacy. Included is the milkshake for your left or right hand, the chocolate bar for your left or right hand, and a deco version.

I also picked up this romper that I’m wearing, made by Eleven, from one of the piles at Anthem. It is only 25L and so cute.

Sneaking Around the Zoo

I heard that the best time to see the zoo animals is early morning so I snuck into Orchid Family Park before the sun came up. I’m on a zoo adventure! And of course, yesterday I found a sweet outfit to wear.

Spirits In The Material World

 

I felt this free avatar was just too beautiful and ethereal to pass up blogging, so I’m bringing it to you today.  This is the Ondheim Spirit Avatar, and it’s a free gift on the region of Ondheim (sponsored by Belle Epoque and the Harshlands) at Fantasy Faire.

As I’ve mentioned, Fantasy Faire is the largest Relay For Life fundraiser in Second Life.  There’s so many beautiful regions, quests, hunts, gifts and shopping there, all to raise money for the American Cancer Society.  IRL, I used to be a team captain for a RFL team, it was so much fun, yet so exhausting, and so very worthy.  I lost one of my best friends to cancer five years ago, this event is very close to my heart for that reason.  Almost everyone I know has had their heart touched by cancer in some form, so I’m sending this post out to everyone who has suffered or watched a loved one suffer, or lost someone they love to cancer.

The Spirit Avatar is simple to use.  I saved an outfit in my mesh body and then took everything off.  I applied a full body alpha and the avatar itself.  It comes with a male and female avatar, and one shape.  You don’t have to use the shape, but I looked a lot more ethereal when I did.  There are some extras in the package too, the aura and the orbs.

I still haven’t decided what my overall ‘look’ is gonna be in SL, despite me being years old.  Beachy helps me find all these free gifts, and I go from looking like a sporty dude to a role play guy to a nerd, and today, I’m surely a tough guy right? lol  Anyway, normal is boring, so why not change it up?

Gifts Galore

I found myself over at Jeys, and wow the free gifts there are many!  I sent every guy I know over there to pick them up, hopefully I’ll run into a bunch of you wearing them.   I chose to show you the DOMENTOR2-/I outfit today.  All their gifts are named the same with just letters at the end, but there are pictures in the folders to help.  The DOMENTOR2-/I outfit has everything included, the leather jacket, jeans, boots (and a mesh vest, not shown, because I couldn’t use alpha with it).

The reason I needed an alpha for this outfit, is that it’s only rigged for the male Legacy body.  That being said, I was able to use my Belleza alpha hud just fine to wear the rest of the outfit, same with the other gifts too.

Axolotl

Squeeeeeeee!  I knew one day this Axolotl headband I bought would come in handy, I just knew it, and today is that day!

You may or may not recognize that I name all my blog posts after song titles (and I put the YT video on the FLICKR post if any of you want to find new music).  How was I ever going to find a song that relates to Axolotls? lol  I spent hours (and am still doing it now) singing the lyrics I changed to ‘I want an Axolotl for Christmas’ (because it’s similar in cadence to hippopotamus?)   I hope that gets stuck in your head, as it has mine 😉  Nonetheless, there are a few songs, and the title of today’s song is indeed titled Axolotl.

Squeaks!

Did you know they squeak?  They don’t have vocal cords, but they make sounds through their gills.  Well, I squeaked when I saw this outfit on FLICKR (and Aline added it to Fab Finds HERE)  I HAD to blog it though, because when I went to the Akikazu store to pick it up, I joined the group for free, and grabbed the rest of her gifts, so I also brought home these Axolotl earrings!  But first, the dress 😉

This is a 2 piece outfit that comes with the top and tutu skirt separately.  It reminds me of one of the stores I frequent, so I was excited to add this to my inventory for free.  I did ballet as a child, but didn’t develop a penchant for tutus until I was too old to wear them 😛  It comes in this beautiful peachy color and is sized for:
