On the 4th Day of Christmas…

We are ready for Day 4 and I decided to get all comfy and cozy for this one. Do not miss all of the FabFree advent calendar posts, or the Advent Calendar Listing!

I absolutely adore this tree swing, which is the gift from Day 3 at Kim’s Kreations, and still available for FREE with no group needed. The swing includes several animation choices, you can see 2 of them in the photos in this post. It is also a grand total of only 6 Li.

Now for my cozy outfit…This is today’s gift at Pink&Love which includes the hoodie and the pants. The gifts from here are FREE with group tag, which is FREE to join. It comes with fits available for:

The hair/hat comes with a male style and this female style, all with HUDs for changing the hair and hat textures.

The skin I am wearing as well as the eyes are both from 7 Deadly Skins. The skin is a full BOM body skin and fits Lelutka Evo X heads. This particular skin comes in 7 tones with no eyebrow versions included for each as well. I am wearing the lightest option – Taupe. The eyes are a beautiful dark blue and include mesh versions and a Lelutka Evo X HUD. Both are included in the December 4th gift, free for 7DS group members, which is L$500 to join.

Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Go outside and enjoy the winter weather, they said. It will be fun, they said. Okay I’ll admit that it is really pretty. I’ve never had a problem looking at winter weather, it’s the going out in it that gets me. So enjoying it while sitting on my sofa wrapped up in a blanket is a-okay with me!

I’m also wearing a new skin! I love the sweetly pink cheeks and smattering of freckles. If you don’t want to mess with making sure your head matches your body and neck fixes and all that rigmarole, than this is the place for you. Getting Swept Away

Have you been to the discount area at Siss Boom? It’s enormous, I don’t even know what to call it. Discount room? Floor? Empire? Nomenclature aside, it’s really fabulous and brimming with clothes for between 25L and 50L per item. And it’s Siss Boom so you know they’re gonna be good. I spent a relaxing afternoon flitting around the sales arena, ohhing and ahhing, and one of the things that I came away with was this “dance dress.” It’s priced at just 25L per color and includes an assortment of fitmesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.

Autumn Breeze

As I’ve mentioned before I may not celebrate what at least in the U.S. is considered a traditional Thanksgiving, but I do believe very much in practicing thankfulness. I am thankful for autumn weather, for the beauty of the season, thankful for love, and for friendship. Honestly, the more I think on it, the more I have to be thankful for. That is a very beautiful and fortunate thing. I also am so thankful I have the opportunity to be here doing something I enjoy, sharing awesome finds with all of you.

Clawtooth

For this post I have some bitter-sweet news. Clawtooth is closing for good at the end of the month. Bubbles Clawtooth, the designer behind the store, sent out a lovely sentiment explaining their appreciation for all that Second Life has given them, and their carefully made decision to move away from Second Life and on to other projects. What does that mean for us? The entire Clawtooth store is on sale at 70% off from now through the end of November. I am not at all ashamed to admit I spent a few more lindens than I needed to picking up some of the lovely hairstyles that will be gone forever once Clawtooth closes. There is also a free holiday hairstyle with no group needed, and I saw at least one group gift. No group is required for the sale, and gachas are included. Most of the hairstyles appeared to be priced between 45 – 66 linden per color pack, and gachas were averaging at 25 linden per play.

No Salvation

As we seem to be rapidly approaching my favorite holiday I was excited to see the new group gift at Caboodle. The Caboodle group gift is a short nun’s habit, which lends itself perfectly to creating a creepy demonic possession look. Inspired by the idea I added the new group gift tattoo by Letis, the Pumpkin Hunt gift by Blackstone at Swank, and some inexpensive Marketplace finds from Corvus, Mary, R.A.D. and Glow Up. I think this look would fit right in at just about any haunted house. Time to get terrifying!

Caboodle

Truly this nun’s habit group gift at Caboodle was the inspiration for creating my demonic nun look just in time for Halloween. The Caboodle group has a join fee of 100 linden. Marketplace Finds

The gifts from Caboodle and Letis were a good start for this scary nun I’d imagined, the Marketplace was helpful for much of the rest.

Corvus – No possessed being would be complete without darkened circles around the eyes. I picked up the Corvus Demon Eyeshadow BOM layer for 30 linden on the Marketplace.

Mary – I also found a Halloween gift by Mary from 2019 on the Marketplace. The little goth cross tattoo comes in an Omega applier and is 1 linden on the Marketplace.

Glow Up – For some added gore I picked up a little nose-bleed drip by Glow Up on the Marketplace for free. It comes in a BOM layer only.

R.A.D. – Finally, the bloody sewn-shut lips are a Marketplace dollarbie by R.A.D. This gory costume essential comes in BOM layers and an Omega applier.
