Hey There, FabFam!  I know, I know, I disappeared yet again… I have a good excuse. Just as I was getting back on the routine of blogging… I got the flu! I was pretty sure I was dying or at least I wanted to die. Of course, I had to share it with the poor husband. So there was much plague on my household. I have survived but the coughing is still killin’ me. Bleh… anyway

SL has welcomed me back with one of my favorite events: The Arcade!  And there are several interestig machines this round like this cozy winter cowboy set from Meva. This is the Ashton outfit in beige. It also comes in black, brown and white. I wasn’t lucky enough to pull the beige version of the comfy pullover so you get to see the white version. I love the shearling along the vest’s collar and just the overall western feel to the set. And at 75L per play it goes easy on the wallet.

My Autumn Gallery

Welcome To The Fall Showing

Fall is my favourite decorating season. I put up a little autumn gallery made up of art I picked up at the Fall Festival, a fall-themed event that is running until October 1st at Malus Park. I have a couple of 50L pieces and a free painting to show you from this event, so check out the following designer’s booths to get these fall art pieces for a fabulous price!

On Me

• My outfit is a free lucky board prize at Shanti. No group join is required to play the boards. This prize is called the “Upside Down Bohemian Outfit”. This is a Stranger Things reference for all the fans of the popular supernatural 80’s-era Netflix series. The set includes a top and skirt which can be worn separately. The outfit is textured with a black and white pattern which looks perfect for Halloween coming up! It fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Ebody Classic, Lara, Physique, Legacy, and Tonic Curvy & Fine.

Just a Bit of Fun

Oh, look the pink-loving side of me has come out to play again!  It’s time to get girly, feel cute and win a bunch of prizes… It’s time for The Arcade!

When the gacha ban came into effect just over a year ago, I was pretty bummed.  I loved playing the machines and getting fun prizes.  I understand that I played with considerable restraint (1 or 2 pulls per machine for the most part), and for some it became a bit of a problem.  So, I get it.  But… I missed that fun.  I’m glad that The Arcade found a way to continue that fun while making the process a bit more transparent.  To play these machines, just attach the HUD and connect to any machine at the event, and you’ll see which items are up for grab next, so you can decide if it’s for you or not.  Here’s what I played for and won:

Weekend Mode Activated

Ok, I’ve officially given up for the week!  All the stress of nine to five is behind me, and I’ve fooled the masses into thinking I’m drinking a grown up beverage, but I just got it for the candy.  Mwahaha!  I’m so devious.  Let’s get a weekend-ready dress, shall we?

Wait, What?

Ok, folks…. The Arcade is back, and you can get all the goodness of playing a Gacha, without any of the gambling!  Since gachas were banned back in August, people have been hemming and hawing over how to get the thrill of the gacha (I am a fan of a sweet outfit for a low price), but still let you make informed decisions on what you’re about to purchase.  The Arcade has come up with a new HUD system that tells you which items are up next in the queue, so you can either buy what’s next, see what the next few items down the line are, or just walk on and come back later when you can try and get the items you’d really like.  Full disclosure, I had an amazing time playing – and I didn’t spend as much as I used to back when Gacha was a game of chance.  Anywhos, I played the Ricielli gacha, and no matter what you pull you’re sure to end up with a really REALLY pretty dress like the one I got for just 75L.  It’s a win-win!

Moving On

Hey, FabFree! I’m just on one of my last summer strolls before the season’s over. It’s coming to end and even if I’m sad about it, life must move on. Only 8 more months until next summer! 😉 In the meantime I will enjoy this picturesque landscape and the lovely winding river.

The Last Hours

Yeah, again it’s the last moments to grasp for those gachas! They will all be wiped on the 31st before the big night. This will be my last gacha post. The great hair is only 25L on a gacha at Wasabi! I love this style, it’s very cute. This pull I got comes in a host of lovely red shades. You can find this one in the little shack outside the store, and I think this sale was supposed to end but they are all still out so get over there while you can! All the hair gachas out there are 25L a pull but this is a very limited time offer.

The Gacha Clock is Ticking!

Hey FabFree! The gacha clock is ticking and it’s only a matter of days until we have no more gachas to play and they turn into pumpkins! I know I’ve been showing the gachas hardcore this month so I hope I’m not driving you crazy.  I say let’s show a few more!

25L Gachas @ Truth!

My favourite hair store of all time, TRUTH, has all their gachas out for 25L per pull! I’m not sure how long they will be out but what a steal for great hair. On the left hand side of my photo above, I am wearing the black and whites version from the Damaris gacha which comes in a hud of various black and white dip dyed colours. See the gacha key below for all the other pulls you can win! I am not currently wearing the little flower included with the hair, but you can add and detach it as you wish. 

The hair I’m fashioning in the right-hand picture is from the Kora/Kyra/Kera gacha at TRUTH. I am wearing Kora in red, but I love how you have the change of winning 3 great styles with this one. Every item in these gachas includes a colour hud, and there a few more machines to play too! I’m not sure when these will be taken away so if you want some cheap TRUTH gachas for 25L per pull, now is the time to go!

Not just another flower in the garden

Hey FabFree! I have two lovely things to show off tonight so let’s jump straight in!

I confess to being a cat lover. I grew up with many cats around and have a silly kitty these days. Like Aline, I am a lover of anything cat. My blanket covered kitty, Romper, (he wanted to keep napping) has to nap with me.

When I saw Nerido‘s offer for The Saturday Sale I had to scramble over to scoop it up! The Meow Overall is on sale for $75/color; there are a number of colors to choose from. For me, it’s usually pink. These overalls have a kitty face print on the bib, white paw prints on the right leg, and straps/belt with the word Meow & hearts. Great way to show kitty love!
