Irish(ish)

The slogan “Irish(ish)” seen on my top today speaks to me. I have Northern Irish heritage, but I have never really been to Ireland and I don’t always identify with Irish culture. As my family was originally from Northern Ireland, they often act British and do a lot of British things like drink tea and eat Hob Nobs. I guess I am Irish(ish)! Anywho, I have some fun and affordable Irish-themed tees to share today, as well as free lipstick and skin, so let’s look at what I found!

My pretty skin is a group gift from Voguel. Starla originally blogged the gift here. I thought it may be worth mentioning again because the fabulous “Carly” skin is a really beautiful and detailed gift. It comes in a full fatpack of tones and it works with Velour skin tones. On a side note, I always use the free neck fix from Velour to match these types of tones to whatever body skin I am currently wearing, and it usually works really well.

‘Tis The Season For Spooks

Hey FabFree! I have some tattoos from Carol G. Tattoo and a few last-minute gifts from Access to show off. Some of these gifts are limited-time offers, so act fast!

The Tats

I am showcasing the following tattoos, which are all group gifts from Carol G. Tattoo.  Carol G. Tattoo currently costs 200L to join. I am wearing all of these tattoos using Bakes-On-Mesh layers. Most of the tattoos include different levels of opacity to wear the tattoos in BOM layers (50%, 75% and 100%). They also each include appliers for Maitreya, Legacy, Belleza, Omega, and Slink mesh bodies.

• On my back I am wearing the David Bowie tattoo in black. I am a big Bowie fan so I had to show this one off! The quote says, “I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring”.
• The “Free” tattoo on the bum says “free” with a butterfly landing right on the bum cheek! Too cute.
• Under my butt and above my thighs there is also a really pretty decorative tattoo I got as a group gift at Carol G.

Ah, time to take a brief rest after my long walk on the beach. I’ve been trying to get my exercise after a long winter cooped up indoors!

Goodbye, for now, micamee

I was saddened to read the news recently that micamee will be closing their in-world store until further notice. Until today, May 20th, they have a whopping 75% off all of their products! Very cheap finds there. I’m not showing a sale item today, but one of their free group gifts which will be disappearing when the store closes. The gift is this cute drink with rabbit ears on the top of the lid. It says “Sweetheart” on it, and it comes in 2 other colour and pattern options as well. There are 14 free gifts in the store to grab before it closes for good. Make sure you grab anything you want at the low prices too!

Geometry

My striking triangular maze earrings are a free gift at the Cheeky Wow! from Ari-Pari. You will find it in their booth at the event. The earrings include a colour hud.

Free Body Skins, Anyone?

If you are in need of some new free body skins, MILA has you covered on the Marketplace. They have a fatpack of their older skins in both appliers and BOM. When I wore the BOM versions of the skins, I was able to use the free neck fix from Velour which I blogged about here to blend my head skin. The Queen in Her Kingdom

There’s only two days left of Fantasy Faire, and I poked around the various regions of the event to look for gifts. There are some out, but they are a bit tricky to find. One I found was this free animated golden flower, which I thought was gorgeous. The item is made by Gabriel, and it includes the hand pose and light orbs that float above it. You will find it for free near the landing of the Tenpayo region here. It all ends on May 18th, so go soon!

Queen Natalia

Now it’s time for the feature of my post today, which is this beautiful “Natalia” skin for Lelutka EvoX heads. This is a free gift from ItGirls. I am wearing the skin in “Rose”, but it comes in a fatpack of other dark and light natural shades. Each shade also includes the lovely dark eyebrows.

For this particular EvoX skin, you will need to own a Lelutka Evolution head. All previous Lelutka Evolution heads have been updated to EvoX, so be sure to click the update button in your head folder if you haven’t had the time or interest in updating yet. EvoX is a bit of a learning curve, but I recommend it because the skins are fabulous! Once you have your EvoX head, just click the “EvoX” button on the HUD to put your head in EvoX mode, which allows you to use more detailed skin and makeup options.

Once this is all done, you will notice that with the free skin from ItGirls, that the ears and face skins are separated. You need to wear a separate tattoo for the ears. So you then need to find the matching ear skin to go with the face skin. All of the face skins and ear skins are included in the free gift from ItGirls. You can also get a pack of free EvoX ear skins, which is available for all to get on the front desk at ItGirls.

I’m sure some of you have noticed that nasty neckline that can pop up when you wear an EvoX head skin that doesn’t include a body skin. Not to fear, for Velour is here. Velour has a package of free ear skins and neck fixes for EvoX heads. To get the package, look on the front desk to get the pack for free. No group join is needed. The neck fixes work perfectly to blend the ItGirls skin with another body skin. I am currently wearing a body skin from a different creator entirely, one of 7 Deadly S[K]ins‘ BOM skins in the Caramel tone, and it blends so smoothly! These neck fixes should work with any companies that use Velour tones in their head skins and you should have few problems wearing the head skins with a different body skin.

Hey FabFree! In my typical style… I started off this post planning to show just one gift, but then went down a rabbit hole and found three more to show. Now it’s time to rant, rave and share as fast as I can so you have time to collect the goodies.

A Free EEP

I decided to blog something unique today! I applied a bright sky EEP to my photograph today, and it is free for all at Moon. You will find it to the left of the desk in a white box. No group is required for this gift! I used zero editing in my photo today, so this is the look of the bright sky this EEP will give you. You just click “apply only to myself” from the item in your inventory and it will apply the bright sky to your world as you play.

An Anniversary Gift from Dernier

To celebrate their 1 year anniversary, Dernier has 500L of free store credits out. This is great news for me, as I had some credit saved from last Christmas. I had enough to purchase a fatpack of skins, called “Hannah”. Note that the cost of 1 fatpack of skins is more than 500L, but you can use the credit to buy many other items in the store as well if you don’t want to pay extra. You need to join the free Dernier group to get the credits, and they have a few free group gifts as well. I am not sure when this credit disappears, so go ASAP.
