Hunting For Winter – Part 1 of 2

Have you all checked out the Hunting For Winter Hunt?  This hunt runs until January 7th and there are approx. 25 stores participating, all of the prizes are free and everything is winter themed.  I will be listing all of the hunt prizes in order, split up into two posts here at Fabulously Free in SL – so you can see all of the wonderful goodies in store for you if you choose to complete it!

#1 – ATOOLY – Winter Cozy Sky Box:  Atooly is your first stop in the hunt and there you will find hidden in the snowman is the Winter Cozy Sky Box in both tan and blue options.  They are 10 prims, and are the perfect size for a photo studio, office or a cute little place to change your clothes!

#2 – SWEET LEONARD – My Beloved Deer Necklace & Ring:  The second stop is at Sweet Leonard where you will be gifted with the adorable jewelled Beloved Deer Necklace and both left and right matching rings.
#3 – INSATIABLE FASHIONS – Lace Seduction Lingerie Set:  This sexy lace bra & panty set is the hunt item you will find at Insatiable Fashions.

#4 – ELEPHANTE POSES - Flakes Pose Set:  This hunt gift includes three snowflake poses for women and two snowflake poses for men, complete with the holdable snowflakes.  Shown below are the three women’s poses.

#5 – PICTURE ME PRETTY – Winter Stroll Three Person Pose:  I hope you will forgive me for using the vendor photo, but I was just too busy to wrangle up two more people tonight!  At Picture Me Pretty Poses, this is the Hunting For Winter prize.

#7 GRUMBLE – Fabric Xmas Tree – Funky – Animated:  This funky Christmas Tree is animated!

#8 – ALOUETTE – Potted Paper Christmas Trees:  Alouette’s Hunting For Winter Prize is the two potted paper Christmas trees in dots and plain as shown below.  These would look adorable on a console table.  Perfect for those, not wanting to put up with the fuss of a big tree..  not that there is much of a fuss in SL, but you never know!

The Case of Praying Mary – Part 2

“The music box calmed my bloody rampages…until that night…”

It’s Praying Mary, her ghost haunts me ever since I learned about her while on the latest hunt from Madpea. I started at Hoshi Island and bought the HUD for a small fee of 10L and began my investigation. I followed in her footsteps and found where she murdered countless men and always left her signature weapon behind, a cross. I was terrified, but in the end I had found them all and discovered her dark secret leading to great rewards! Remember you must be brave and survive to the end if you want to earn any of these prizes. The hunt runs until November 4th.

Above you will see Alma’s Music Box from ALH Shop. It is intricately crafted and as the music plays the turntable and handle rotate. You can choose from 5 different haunting melodies and also adjust the volume.

Ouch, that’s gotta hurt!  From Love Zombie is the Backstabbed Knife which includes the bloody layer for your back. The chilling storybook scene is from Finlandia and includes places to sit with a total of 9 animatons.

Turbocharged

I’m putting the finishing touches on my custom hot rod. Just a few more adjustments and I’ll be ready to see how fast it goes. Today I’m wearing the June Jacket and Jeans, the  June group gift from Vero Modero. I won the Brown Chain Boots on one of the Lucky Chairs at Death Row Designs.

Green Flowers and Lazy Boots

I’m looking for some green in an ocean of white today. I was lucky enough to find the new group gift from 22769 Casual Couture. The Green Flower Shirt and Loose Pants will make it feel like Spring in the dead of Winter.

I wanted to show you a close up view of the Lazy Sock Boots from Death Row Designs since the baggy cuffs of the pants hid them. It took me a few days of slapping this Midnight Mania Board item before I finally won it. The highly detailed boots are accented with red laces and has a resizer that would work for both men and women.

I Hate Zombie Nazis

I’ve completed the Zombiepopcorn Hunt 5 and will be showing some if the very cool hunt gifts over the next few days. My first favorite is from Death Row Designs. The Zombie Nazi Avatar comes in both male and female versions and the both come with shapes and two different skins.
