They couldn’t have named this hunt better!  Oooooo it’s a doozy!  I’m not sure all of the hunt prizes are out, but the ones that are out, are worthy of the hunt.

Seems as though I can flip moods on a dime these days, I go from dancing a the Go-Go to anarchy in a hot minute!

I know there’s loads of FabFree readers who love to RP.  Now there’s all types of RP here, which I don’t really participate in, but this outfit gave me vibes, so here we are!

I found myself at a store called V-Twins, which is a biker shop, that has this all-in-one outfit as a group gift, and the group is free to join!  After I took it home and tried it on, I ran over to Missing Mile, to see what kind of trouble I could get into 😉  The Dahlia outfit comes with the top/pants (with kneepads attached) and boots.  There’s a hud to change the color of the top, and to add a variety of biker themed graphics if you want.  This outfit is for female bodies and comes in these sizes:

For anyone wondering about my torch, it’s an old group gift from Death Row Designs.  Now, DRD is insanely generous, and if you join the group for free, you can get EVERY OLD GIFT EVER.  It’s in a giant crate when you land!  I haven’t gone through that to make sure this torch is in there, but it’s bound to be an extremely fun unboxing if you pick it up!

Beldam Haunt

It’s rare for me to envision something and then have the ability to manifest what I see in my mind with the tools at my disposal. Death Row Designs and Roawenwood gifted me the ability to really create the sort of diabolical yet romantic scene I had floating around in my imagination. So if this reads like a heartfelt thank you, it’s exactly that. I’ll always be inspired by and grateful for designers who give gifts that are beautifully detailed and thoughtfully made.

Death Row Designs 

I’ve always enjoyed the juxtaposition of the beautiful with the horrific. It’s easy to believe something ugly is sinister, but what of something or someone truly stunning? I find it thrilling in story telling to consider that under a lovely façade lies something malevolent. Death Row Designs often embodies this motif, gorgeous “ruined” things. They have three such things as their free October group gifts, and a fourth group gift that I didn’t show in my photo but is in the vendor ad below. There’s a broken and blood-drenched china tea set, a beautiful set of fall décor that includes a shelf with tchotchke and a silver mirror, and lastly a haunting wall lantern hanging from the fingers of a devilish outstretched arm. Roawenwood

I’ve always felt that Roawenwood often has an inkling of darkness to their furnishings. Nothing too wicked, but just dark enough to be alluring. They have a lovely macabre chair and foot-stool set complete with a display ouija board, and drippy candle with darkly romantic red roses and human skull. The furniture itself has a deep purple-blue color, and a texture that makes me think of velour. There’s also a throw blanket over the stool that has gold-like flecks in it. Our days seem to be dominated by weirdness these days, so I’m choosing to embrace it a bit and build myself a toilet paper fort in my skybox.  There’s a sentence I never thought I’d say, and we say a LOT of weird things in SL.  I think that one may take the cake!

The Hunt for TP

Before this whole Coronavirus rigamarole, TP always meant teleport.  Now it almost always refers to toilet paper for us SL residents.  Our collective posteriors will be absolutely sparkling, I tells ya.  Over at Safira, search for three little toilet paper rolls hidden around the store and buy them for just 0L.  Inside are three really cute free outfits, including this little red romper that I love!  It’s perfect for toilet paper parties galore.  Good luck finding all three!

Returning & Retiring Goodies at Death Row Designs

Hey, Fab Free! I wanted to make a quick post to let you know about an offer currently available at Death Row Designs (DRD). Lots of past group gifts await for free, so read on, Fab Free!

“Returning” Gifts

Currently, all of DRD’s past group gifts are available for free. The store has a sale going on right now which lasts until March 18. During the sale, the store has returned all of their past gifts for a limited time. There are 45 gifts in total- so a few years’ worth of gifts to be claimed. To get the gifts join the Death Row Designs group for free and click the rows of vendors which are stacked at the back of the room by the entrance of the store. Through Anything
