Through Anything

No matter what, my guy and I can make it through anything. Through thick and through thin, through the crashing of planes, the exploding of bombs, a new world regime! Anything at all could happen, and we’d come out on top, and look awesome while doing so. Okay, I admit that was a bit dramatic, but thanks to Second Life we can live through our stories. Thanks to Contraption, DRD, and Birth, we can look the part too!

I do love it when Blue and I find unique, whimsical, and otherwise outside the ordinary items inexpensively or better yet for free in Second Life.  Keep reading for info about each of these fantastic group gifts, and peep the full list of credits and links at the end. Contraption

The foundation of my look for this post, and Blue’s, is this amazing jacket by Contraption. Not only is it highly detailed, it comes sized to fit both male and female avatars. It also includes a hud that allows you to change the metallic embellishments to gold or silver. This special edition version of the “Atreus Waistcoat” is free to all Le’Homme group members for the month of February. The Le’Homme Magazine group is free to join. DRD

Death Row Designs aka DRD recently put out this cool as hell unisex cap as a free group gift. I love all the individual patches that add the detail of this hat. It comes in black, and navy blue. It’s able to be resized, and can be worn by male and female avatars. To get yours, you’ll need to join the free-to-join Death Row Designs group and click the gift vendor while wearing your group tag.

Birth

Finally, the detailed mandala-like design shaved into the back of Blue’s head just so happens to be a current Mens Stuff Hunt gift available at Birth. The Mens Stuff Hunt is a free hunt that runs until February 29th. This unique unisex hair base prize at Birth comes in 3 styles, each able to be tinted.

Well, I guess every beach day has to come to and end. O(9r at least, I need to take a break. And what do you need when you take a break from all the sand and surf and fun in the sun? That’s right… a cute suit cover up!

Happy Sunday, Fabulouses, and Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who are mothers.  I hope you had a lovely day today.  It was a busy one in RL for me, so I’m popping in quickly to share another free gift that you can pick up just for being a member of Fabulously Free in SL.  This little number is ideal for sultry, warm days and really allows your skin to soak up the summer sun.  The Bandana Top from Sexy Princess features an off the shoulder, cropped style.  A traditional white Bandana pattern splashed across a crimson background sets a Bohemian vibe for the top.  I opted to pair it with cut off shorts, but also toyed with a red maxi skirt.  It’s great to have a shirt that is so flexible that it could go either casual or more dressy!  Best of all, you can scoop up this versatile item completely for free!

Almost Skinny Dipping

When I saw this super cute body suit pop up as Sexy Princess‘ latest group gift, I had to jump on it. My first thought was “Heyyy that’d be so cute as a swim suit too!”  Followed quickly by “YAY, Beach Day!!” I hurried home to try it on and whoa… sexy indeed. I think it still makes for a great swim suit but be sure the beach you hit with it is rated ‘adult’. Cause you are gonna turn some heads in this ‘cheeky’ little number! Back and front! I had to arrange the hair just so… if you know what I mean. 😉

Meow Meow Hi Fab Free! Haha I hope you’re enjoying the weekend. I have to say mine is going pretty well so far. Have you been by the Pose Fair yet?! I feel like I’ve been talking about it a ton, but with good reason. I am not exaggerating when I say there are so many free gifts at the Pose Fair. I also want to point out that while I may not be blogging them, there are quite a few male pose freebies and couples poses. So there’s my bit about the Pose Fair for today. I am of course showing another of the gifts from the event, this time from WetCat. Also, I picked up the current Fabulously Free in SL group gift at Sexy Princess. Lastly, as always tattoos are irresistible, and Letis Tattoo has a cute 10 linden tattoo out that I just had to share.

The Cushion – The cute little yellow cushion that Pru is so delicately perched upon is the free Pose Fair group gift by WetCat. This simple floor pillow comes equipped with 2 static female sit poses, and 2 static male sits. You’ll need to join the Pose Fair group and wear the tag before clicking the giftbox at the WetCat booth. The Pose Fair group is free to join.

The Boots – Have you seen the Fabulously Free in SL group  gift listing recently? It’s looking pretty good. The gifts do change periodically, so if you haven’t checked them out recently, you should definitely take a look. I picked up these high heeled ankle boots for free at Sexy Princess while wearing my Fab Free group tag. The Fab Free group is always free to join. These cute boots come in sizes to fit Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza feet.

The Tattoo – Finally, the dainty floral linework tattoo on Pru’s upper arm is a 10 linden group only purchase available at Letis Tattoo. As much as I do like to be heavily inked, sometimes I enjoy these beautiful more subtle tattoos just as much as a full body one. Just waiting on the sun to go down

I will admit that I had a bit of a country stage of my second life. It was actually one of the first things that I did when I started. It was super fun and I met lots of really great people. So if you think that I’d miss the chance to throw on some denim and play cowgirl again? Well you would be sorely mistaken!

My dress is by Sexy Princess and it is the perfect denim. But be warned, there is a bit more to this dress than what my picture shows…or I guess I should say that there is a bit less to it. I can’t show you the back, I’m far too modest for such things.
