Island Baby

Hey FabFam! Happy Monday to you all! No Monday blues here only sunshine and waterfalls and glorious stretches of beaches. I may be a little jealous of Kerydwyn as I sent her off on this assignment.

I wanted to put together a sweet beachy look for mostly free today and boy did our girl get after it. Kerydwyn’s white fringed beach dress, “Jenny” is a 3L hunt prize from Butterfies~N~Roses at the Magical Spring Faire and Hunt put on by Harambee Hunts. Most booths at the faire have a little wooden unicorn that holds a 3L prize but many booths also have free gifts so be on the look out.  Jenny comes with both the dress and a matching bikini. There is a second unicorn holding a black version too!

Ah, summer, the season of fresh fruit. I’ve been exchanging unhealthy snacks with fruit lately and loving it. I think I may go grab a bowl of kiwis now actually, as my tummy is rumbling…

Mila

My pretty skin is the latest free group gift at MILA. It includes a Lelutka EvoX BOM skin in 2 tones, one light and one dark. The package includes matching ears skins and an eyebrow shape is also included. This is a no-brow skin, so I just added some brows using the Lelutka EvoX hud. It is quite an amazing freebie if I do say so myself!

Marvelously Fab in Paris

I’m feeling special today. How about you? I think we’ve been watching way too many episodes of Project Runway at home. Today’s outfit kind of reminds me of some of the fashion creations the contestants design and fabricate.  The challenges on the show can run from making an elegant gown in luxurious fabric to using EMS and firefighter supplies for an avant-garde look (think bandages, fire hoses, etc).

In honor of my feeling special, sexy, and so fashionable I visited Paris, one of the world’s fashion capitals. I love all of what I’m wearing from the top of my head down to my toes. Where is that runway? I feel like being in a fashion show.

I subscribe to a lot of stores and groups. This morning I received a notecard about Fifty5 Thursday deals at Seven. Deciding I loved this look off to the shop I went. Alena comes as a top and mini skirt. Details give it an edgy look. There are a number of colors to choose from available at the store ($55L per color).

Then another notecard arrived from Sintiklia! The store participates in the Happy Weekend Sale on a fairly regular basis. One of today’s offerings is this funky updo, Octavia. It’s a high ponytail pulled to the front and bangs hanging in front. Included in each color pack is a style hud. It was just what I needed to complete this look.

Look deeply into my eyes . . . . Named “Rainstorm Eyes” they’re a lovely SL19B gift from theMars. You get 6 shades of bom eyes along with huds for Catwa, Catwa HDPro, Lelutka Evo, and Genus. The huds work with the eyes for each of the heads. How cool is that?

I was saddened to read the news recently that micamee will be closing their in-world store until further notice. Until today, May 20th, they have a whopping 75% off all of their products! Very cheap finds there. I’m not showing a sale item today, but one of their free group gifts which will be disappearing when the store closes. The gift is this cute drink with rabbit ears on the top of the lid. It says “Sweetheart” on it, and it comes in 2 other colour and pattern options as well.
