Nostalgia

Have you ever been nostalgic for something? Like the smell of an old bookstore or the sights and sounds of a record store. It’d be great to be able to just snap your finger and be instantly transported into a record store straight outta the movies. Like Championship Vinyl from High Fidelity, Trax from Pretty in Pink, Polymer Records from This is Spinal Tap, Motormouth Maybelle’s in Hairspray, Chelsea Drugstore from A Clockwork Orange, or Empire Records of Empire Records. I think it would be awesome to visit Trax. When I grab the Men Only Hunt gift from Ascend and saw the way the Rick Open button Blazer looked. It gave me them Duckie vibes.

I came up with a Duckie inspired outfit, decked out a record store in 80’s vibes, and put on some Otis Redding. Before you know it I was singing

Butterfly Kisses

At times the unexpected happens. One might even say it’s magic in the making. Pru and I have had some magical moments over these years. We got to experience one such moment recently. All we did was take a walk into our own yard. Before we knew it we were surrounded by butterfly after butterfly. We don’t know where they came from, but there they were. It was breathtakingly magical and wondrous all at the same time. Them butterfly kisses are oh so sweet, fast, and a bit ticklish. Nearly made me chuckle and I know Pru giggled.
We enjoyed the perfect moment that seemed to last forever. Even though it was over before we knew it. Good thing I was dressed for it. The Men Only Hunt recently started and I jumped at it. I was able to get this great fitting tank at Kartel and these awesome looking shorts from Odiren. They didn’t cost me a single Linden. Nothing like freebies, especially when it comes to Men stuff. Road Trip to Nowhere in Particular

Hello hello Fab Free, I hope you’re all surviving first life well enough. As for Second Life, Blue and I decided to throw a few things in a bag and jump in the car for a much-needed getaway. Like most of us, we decided we could use a little change of scenery. This little diner was an impromptu stop along the way on our road trip to nowhere in particular. We got out stretch our legs, take in some scenery, grab a bite to eat, and of course take a few photos. After all, is it really a vacation if you don’t have a few social media worthy photos? Hah, just kidding.

The pose we used for this snapshot is a free Stay at Home Club gift from The Owl. This free couples pose by The Owl comes with pose balls and individual pose animations. Through Anything

No matter what, my guy and I can make it through anything. Through thick and through thin, through the crashing of planes, the exploding of bombs, a new world regime! Home for the Holidays

Would it even be Christmas without brightly colored matching Christmas sweaters? I think not. Honestly though, that man of mine is a pretty good sport for agreeing to matching holiday-wear in the first place. Don’t worry, I won’t spend this blog post waxing poetic about otherworldly romance, however I will tell you how Blue and I managed to create this beautifully macabre scene with these awesome skeletal avatars. The Damned

Demons manifest through arcane ritual and hell fire. What is this? Has the world been flung into a darkness where horned devils step into the light? Well, perhaps nothing quite that malevolent, however there are a few days left of the Twisted Hunt where you can find a lot of what Blue and I are wearing, as well as some of the demonic décor Blue used to create this fiendish atmosphere for free. The free Twisted Hunt prize by Sweet Revolutions really has to be seen to be truly appreciated. This “Damned Conjure Circle” pose/prop is being used as awesome demonic background imagery in my photo, however it has 4 poses included.
