Hey FabFree! I am slowly starting to crawl out from under my dark rock. After a long few months of depression, I’m starting to feel a bit better. I did end 2022 on a great note, however, as I got married and that started my new year out on the right foot. Let’s hope 2023 is better!

I finally made it to Shop and Hop this weekend! I say finally but really it just started on the 16th and there’s still lots of time before it closes on July 5th. Shanti has a really fun hunt at their store for the month of June. It’s The Neverland Hunt, a homage to the Peter Pan universe. What a fun theme! I absolutely love all the movies and books such as Peter Pan, Hook and my favourite of all time is the film Finding Neverland. I even saw a Peter Pan musical on Broadway. I’m a fan to say the least. So this was a fun one for me! Each prize costs 3 linden on the hunt. You will find the hunt key, hunt object, and preview of the prizes here. There are 8 prizes in total to collect until June 30th.

It’s been a little over 7 years since I started blogging for Fab Free. Love Trill took a chance on an eager-to-learn wanna-be fashionista with no blogging experience and limited photography skills. I’m forever grateful she did. Not only did I learn new things, best of all it’s through this blog, Fabulously Free in SL, that I’ve made some of my most cherished personal connections. The kind that I hope against hope will last a lifetime. I’m lookin’ at you, my fellow bloggers, past and present. In a round about way, it’s even through blogging for Fab Free that I found a kind of love that I had not even imagined.
Needless to say, the last 7 years have meant a lot to me, more than heartfelt words, or poignant quotes could ever express. I want to say thank you also to those of you who read the blog regularly, and have taken a moment over the years to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication that goes in to a blog like Fab Free. After more than 15,000 blog posts, I feel it’s time for me to say farewell to blogging for Fabulously Free in SL and take time for new adventures. Thank you for everything, from the bottom of my heart.
No Goodbyes
For this, my last post, I do of course have some freebies and fabulous finds to share with you. I picked up the group gifts at the latest round of Cosmopolitan. There are two gifts this time, an upper body tattoo by AuricA, and a set of stunning eyes by Arte. I also of course picked up the Happy Weekend Sale item by Muniick again this week. Alright, I might have an issue with collecting furniture as of late. I’m not at all mad about it though! This weekend (today is the last day!) It’s finally started to get colder where I live and I am hence feeling desire for the coziness of sweaters and cold-weather fashion. In all honesty little moments like this one are my favorite part of the holidays. I find the most joy in things like wrapping presents, and cozying up with my love to watch Christmas movies. I love this dress by COCO. It’s simple, it’s elegant, and the feathered hemline is a welcome departure from the fur trim that is ever popular this time of year. With all the hustle and bustle for the holiday season being a bit different this year than years past, I find it even more important to take small moments to myself when I can.
