It’s been a little over 7 years since I started blogging for Fab Free. Love Trill took a chance on an eager-to-learn wanna-be fashionista with no blogging experience and limited photography skills. I’m forever grateful she did. Not only did I learn new things, best of all it’s through this blog, Fabulously Free in SL, that I’ve made some of my most cherished personal connections. The kind that I hope against hope will last a lifetime. I’m lookin’ at you, my fellow bloggers, past and present. In a round about way, it’s even through blogging for Fab Free that I found a kind of love that I had not even imagined.
Needless to say, the last 7 years have meant a lot to me, more than heartfelt words, or poignant quotes could ever express. I want to say thank you also to those of you who read the blog regularly, and have taken a moment over the years to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication that goes in to a blog like Fab Free. After more than 15,000 blog posts, I feel it’s time for me to say farewell to blogging for Fabulously Free in SL and take time for new adventures. Thank you for everything, from the bottom of my heart.
No Goodbyes
For this, my last post, I do of course have some freebies and fabulous finds to share with you. I picked up the group gifts at the latest round of Cosmopolitan. There are two gifts this time, an upper body tattoo by AuricA, and a set of stunning eyes by Arte. I also of course picked up the Happy Weekend Sale item by Muniick again this week. Seriously, I just could not resist!
AuricA
This upper body tattoo by AuricA is free with your Cosmo Sales group tag. The group is free to join, and the gift is waiting on a signboard just inside the Cosmo event entrance. The tattoo comes in a single applier hud, that has appliers for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, TMP, and Omega compatible bodies.
Arte
I think these eyes by Arte are really beautiful. They have an ethereal look to them in my opinion. They also happen to be a free group gift at the Cosmo event. Again the event group is free to join, I’ll link it down below. These free eyes come in 8 colors that range from natural looking to otherworldly. They are also in several appliers, a set of mesh eyes, and BOM layers so anyone can wear them. Also, there are small, medium, and large options for each eye-color.

Alright, I might have an issue with collecting furniture as of late. I’m not at all mad about it though! This weekend (today is the last day!) Muniick has their French Revival Armchair and Ottoman set for 60 linden as part of the Happy Weekend Sale. This set is copy, so you can set out multiples. There are also color change options, and so many poses I couldn’t give you an accurate count. No group is required to get the discount price.

Snowfall
I’ve always thought of the notion of a first snowfall as something magical and wonderous, though admittedly that’s partly due to having experienced so few in my lifetime. That said, there are quite a few free gifts waiting on the Christmas tree inside the Cosmopolitan Sales event, and these delicate snow flurries by Persefona are my favorite. For this look I also picked up the free Cosmo gifts by Limited Addiction, IDTTY, and ARTE. I also happen to be wearing a cute little sweater dress by Rebel Hope that you can find inexpensively on the Marketplace. Keep reading for all the details.
Persefona
These pretty little snow flurries are an attachment by Persefona. You can get them for free at the Cosmo event by joining the event group and clicking the stockings on the Christmas tree just inside the entrance. The Cosmopolitan Sales event group is free to join. This wintery gift includes a resizer hud that lets you easily adjust the size of the snowy attachment.
Limited Addiction
My sassy cute knee-high socks and ankle boots are also free at Cosmo, courtesy of Limited Addiction. You’ll find them waiting on the Christmas tree with the many other free gifts. These sassy holiday themed shoes come with a texture change hud for the socks that lets you pick from a few holiday color combinations.

IDTTY
Both my eye makeup and lip-color are part of the free Cosmo group gift by IDTTY. Their gift is a festive makeup “Jolly Days Collection” that includes 2 eye makeup looks, and 2 lipsticks. I’ve added the vendor photo below so you can get a look at both of these gorgeous holiday makeup looks.

ARTE
Most skins include a browless option which makes experimenting with different brow shapes and colors a lot easier and more fun. The brows I’m wearing are the free Cosmo gift by ARTE. I think they look sleek and quite natural. In this free gift you’ll find BOM layer eyebrows in brown, light brown, dark brown, blond, red, and a tint-able version. Also there are Omega, and Catwa appliers, and a brow shaper included.
Rebel Hope
Finally, this pretty sweater dress is a Marketplace find by Rebel Hope. It’s just 25 linden and includes a color change hud for the ties and metal bits. If you’re interested in a color other than red, there are several to choose from. Each color is just 25 linden on the Marketplace.

Fabulous Finds 09.15.20 Edition
Summer breeze makes me feel fine
Hey y’all! I fear that my favorite season might really be coming to an end. Luckily, I found the perfect little outfit to wear while I enjoy every last speck of Summer, before mean old Autumn shows up and invites his even worse pal Winter along.
Lilo
Belle Epoque has put out a new free group gift and it is seriously fabulous. All of the little details make it stand out from the crowd, like the adorable little ruffles and some really great lacing on the back of the top…and other details that I don’t know the names for because I don’t know how to fashion. But they’re really cute, see? It comes in one size, which is not labeled but which fits my Maitreya body perfectly. The Belle Epoque group is 10L to join and is it worth it? You know it! Besides this, there are a handful of other must-have gifts on the wall in the store.

Here comes the sun
Oooooh FabFree, it’s been quite the weekend in RL. It poured down rain for 4 solid days, I’ve been cooped up with two stir crazy tiny people, there was a leak in my ceiling (but luckily it was just a vent leaking and not the roof), and to top it all off I have the worst cold ever. I think I might be dying. So if this is my last post, it was nice knowing you. RL me has been just fine at handling everything although SL me has been in a bit of a mood for entirely different reasons…I’ll let the facial expression speak for itself. But things have to look up sometime, right? Here’s hoping that the sun really is coming out!
On9 turns my mood around!
I’ve been neglecting my shopping lately but when I saw on Seraphim that this is a “special gift round” of On9 I hopped on over to have a look. Almost every designer has a free gift out and there is no group required! I’m wearing two of them today. I got my fun layerfull (yup, that’s a word now) dress free from ArisArisB&W. Heaven let your light shine down
Good morning, FabFree! I’ve had a 90s alternative station streaming on Amazon Music most of the morning. I really need to do that more often, all of the songs are sooooo good. Does that make me old? Don’t answer that. I mean, I was in middle school or high school when I listened to most of this music, but I suppose that doesn’t really make a difference. Well either way, it’s been a lovely morning…good music and a bikini to show you…both are things that make me happy!
The bikini is not just adorable, it’s also FREE. It is the current group gift at M*Motion and the group is free to join. Queen of the broken hearts
So tomorrow is the last day of the Cart Sale at The Wash. But don’t panic, you still have the rest of today and tomorrow to go wander around and buy as many 10L things as possible. And don’t forget to grab the freebies that are available at many of the carts as well. I’m playing my favorite game – “how many free/discounted items can Allison wear at once?” It’s a super fun game because I always win! Today I’ve managed to show you three more cart sale items. My lipstain is made for Genus heads but fits fine on my Catwa head as well. There are 7 different shades available, all as Omega appliers. They’re all really nice, wearable shades.

This cute layered top is from Vicarious Youth. I love the graphic and there are a few others to choose from as well. There are no fitted sizes, just 5 classic sizes L-XXS but I had no trouble wearing it with a few alpha cuts.

Hi! I went a little overboard on the group gifts in this post. I was browsing through my inventory and one thing led to another and they all ended up on at the same time. I’m enjoying the vibe though, it’s very 90s punk rock and had me singing Nirvana to myself.
Versatile Dress
My dress is from Avale. It’s a really great little black dress that is a necessity in every inventory. This dress would be great dressed up but clearly it’s also very versatile because I did this kinda punk thing with it and I think it works beautifully for that too.
