In Search of Fall

I went out in search of fall. You’re probably thinking about why I would be searching for it. You see, in my RL world it’s still hotter than Hades. But there is a hint of fall here – the leaves are falling off my tree! Autumn is bursting out all over SL so my search was fairly easy. I did take time to hit a few MM boards along the way.

Are you all aware that the MM boards at Artic Storm are open to everyone? I was able to scoop up this great fall outfit by slapping the two boards there. Note: one board is one the first floor & the other is upstairs. The Martye Cardigan Gold and Martye Jeans Black also has a hud for the belt. The two items make up this lovely outfit. You’ll be ready for a hayride or clam bake or whatevah!

Beyond Time

Hi There Fab Free’rs! I don’t know about you, but now and then I could use some fantasy and whimsy in my life, especially when Second Life makes it so easy. The above photo was completely inspired by the Women’s Stuff Hunt prize at Ohemo. The floral jewelry set is their free Women’s Stuff Hunt gift, and I’m super excited to share it with you. The pose used is another freebie, it’s part of the Lyrium gift at the Pose Fair. Keep reading for all the information and details.

Yes, the full jewelry set is a free Women’s Stuff Hunt prize at Ohemo. Find the little red tshirt, and pay it 0 linden, and the hunt prize will be delivered to you. This gorgeous set includes the earpiece for both ears, headband, and necklace, all with a color change hud that has quite a few color options for the flowers, three choices for the headband, and the option to pick gold or silver for the metal bits.

If you haven’t made your way to the Pose Fair yet, I highly suggest you go. Along with the pose used in the above photo, Lyrium has 2 full sets of poses as a free gift to the Pose Fair group members. The group is free to join. The part I like the most (aside from the nicely done poses for free!) is that the poses also come in a hud. This means you can wear the pose hud and cycle through the poses without having to rez a pose ball or dig through your inventory. There are 5 poses in this “Heavenly” set, with mirrored versions for each. Additionally, there is a second set of poses with this gift called “Falling.” Seriously, do not miss out on this awesome gift!

It’s a great month to be a man because the Men Only Hunt 11 (MOH11) is in full swing! 38 of SL’s best men’s stores are participating, and all of the hunt gifts are FREE.

So, let’s get right to the gifts:

• The Facial Hair – Mister Razzor‘s gift is the Raphael facial hair appliers for Catwa and Omega mesh heads. It comes in black and tintable versions.
• The Glasses – These cool sunglasses are the gift from Ohemo. They come with a HUD to change the frames from gold to silver and the lenses from black to brown. Click to bring up the resizer menu.
