The Colors are a Changin’

Hello Fabulous Readers!  I am popping in with a quick post to share my latest hunt prize and a budget-friendly crop top with you.  I know, I know, the leaves are changing, but I can’t bring myself to give up my summer tops just yet.

Don’t Forget to Be Owlsome

First, I just had to tell you about these adorable baubles from Loordes of London.  The Republican Redundancy earrings are part of the Changing of Colors Hunt 5 and feature shimmering gold accented with brown eyes and wing spots.  All you’ll need to do to add them to your inventory is to locate the hunt object, an orange leaf, hidden somewhere in the shop, then pay the tiny prize fee.  There are 25 stops along the hunt trail, and each item costs just one Linden dollar.  You have until September 30th to do some sleuthing of your own.

She’s a Rebel

Soon I will have to at least start wearing a jacket, but for now, I’m enjoying soaking up some sunshine on these early fall days as I take in the foliage.  My new Bebe Mesh Crop Top from !Rebel Hope is a lovely shade of brown that is perfect for the autumn landscape hues.  With its halter-style neck, soft texture, and cute laces on the side, it’s sure to please.  I picked it up on the Marketplace for a reasonable 25 Linden dollars.  The folder includes an alpha layer and sizes for classic avatars as well as versions for several mesh avatar body types.  A color change HUD for the laces with 8 options allows you to customize your look.

A little hope

Hey FabFree! Welcome to Friday our wonderful gateway to the weekend. Our time to relax, revive and have some fun!

In a clumsy segue here…  Let’s talk about time. Time on the Grid is such a weird thing. Shops come and go, designers are stars, then disappear. Real Life takes over and makes the most active players suddenly vanish. It’s sad. especially when a truly talented designer leaves Grid. Where am I going with this… well, I was just rambling around the Grid when I stumbled on a Designer who was new to me but at the same time… is closing their store. 

Rebel Hope is holding a final sale with everything in their store up to 75% off. Awesome for my closet but sad for us because this is a really wonderful designer with a shop full of great clothes and shoes. Now, I don’t know how long the sale has been going on or how long it will last. The Rebel Hope blog is down but their Marketplace is up and active. So if you want a nice selection of really lovely clothes at amazing prices head over to the Rebel Hope main store and shop your heart out.

Heyya FabFree! The box said it’s blue. I think it’s gray. But… sometimes, it’s blue?  It’s like that dress back on FaceBook a few years ago I guess.

Snowfall

I’ve always thought of the notion of a first snowfall as something magical and wonderous, though admittedly that’s partly due to having experienced so few in my lifetime. That said, there are quite a few free gifts waiting on the Christmas tree inside the Cosmopolitan Sales event, and these delicate snow flurries by Persefona are my favorite. For this look I also picked up the free Cosmo gifts by Limited Addiction, IDTTY, and ARTE. I also happen to be wearing a cute little sweater dress by Rebel Hope that you can find inexpensively on the Marketplace. Keep reading for all the details.

Persefona

These pretty little snow flurries are an attachment by Persefona. You can get them for free at the Cosmo event by joining the event group and clicking the stockings on the Christmas tree just inside the entrance. The Cosmopolitan Sales event group is free to join. This wintery gift includes a resizer hud that lets you easily adjust the size of the snowy attachment.

Limited Addiction

My sassy cute knee-high socks and ankle boots are also free at Cosmo, courtesy of Limited Addiction. You’ll find them waiting on the Christmas tree with the many other free gifts. These sassy holiday themed shoes come with a texture change hud for the socks that lets you pick from a few holiday color combinations.

Most skins include a browless option which makes experimenting with different brow shapes and colors a lot easier and more fun. The brows I’m wearing are the free Cosmo gift by ARTE. Rebel Hope

A Happy Ending for Your Monday

Hello Fabulouses!  Yesterday in my post {HERE}, I told you about a free outfit and free earrings.  Well, today the pupster and I are back with a second pairing of a free frock and free baubles.  Now that’s a way to make Monday happier for sure!  Unfortunately, the free dress has been replaced with another gift for members of Fabulously Free in SL, which is a butterfly top.

Blossoms Galore

Summer blooms abound on the latest gift from Sweet Willows for members of the Fabulously Free in SL group.  With slender straps, a plunging neckline and dramatically low cut back and sides, this frock is most definitely for warm summer days.  You’ll be free to soak in the sunshine and have your skin caressed by warm summer breezes with this mini dress.  Delicate white flowers scattered across a solid color background lend a cheery vibe to the outfit.  I chose a sky blue fabric, but with the included HUD, you could also opt for pink, yellow, green or purple, so it’s quite flexible.  You’ll probably want to make strategic use of the alpha layer of your mesh body to preserve modesty while wearing it.  To add this saucy little number to your inventory, activate your Fab Free group tag (it’s totally free to join!), teleport to the shop and click the vendor.

Island Girl

Ripley and I returned to The Free Dove to search for the perfect finishing touch, and spotted just the right earrings at the Rebel Hope display.  The Island Girl baubles come in either the tan option that I am wearing in my photo or a green version.  The beads are the same; it’s just the cording that is different.  Speaking of the beads, it’s almost like they were made to coordinate with my new dress!  Blue-green glass beads sit atop round brownish ones decorated with white blossoms, which echo the pattern on the mini.  Best of all, these earrings are also free.  You just need to be a member of The Free Dove group (which is also free to join).

Catching My Breath

A Vision In Blue… Or Red

This beautiful navy blue floor length gown is one of my recent finds at The Free Dove by !Rebel Hope.  It comes in XXS-L standard mesh sizes and includes the alpha layers as well as an additional red version of the dress too…  but speaking of Christmas – I’m tired of wearing red at the moment, so I went with the blue :).  The packaging says it was released in 2017, but I have no idea how I missed this stunning find!  The Free Dove group is free to join.  Have a look around and see what else you can find!
