There is another hunt going on at V8 Underground. I told you about a previous hunt there not too long ago with some really great prizes, so I had go have a look-see. This time it is a Spring Hunt and the prizes are so springy-summery-fabulous. Each prize is a full outfit with jewelry and shoes. The prizes only cost 10L each. 10L for a complete look. My slurl should take you to some hunt information including a picture of all of the prizes and an example of the statue that you need to find scattered around the store to claim said prizes. I picked up number 15 and I am so obsessed with this color. The top, skirt, and earrings are part of the prize as well as shoes and panties that you can’t see, and a bunch of other jewelry and sunglasses that I’m not wearing. I like to keep things simple, ya know? The V8 Underground Spring Hunt has 20 prizes and lasts until June 12th.

I do enjoy being reminded of a store that I haven’t been to in a while. That’s what happened when I saw some news about TREND over on Seraphim. I have no affiliation with Seraphim, it’s just one of my favorite places to check out for deals and freebies…besides here, of course. Anyway, TREND is spoiling us. Let me count the ways…
Free Group Join
TREND has lots of club and latex type wear, sexy lingerie looks, and makeup. And currently the group is free to join until May 28th. At that time this promotion will end and the group join fee will go back to 299L, but right now it is gloriously free.
Free Store Credit
When you join the group (for free) and follow the arrows to the group gift area at TREND, you will find a 650L store credit waiting for you as a free group gift. My necklace is from Luova, There are exciting things happening over at Luova, specifically that the group is currently free to join. What’s more, by joining the group you can access a free 250L store credit because Luova ever so generously gives this free credit to it’s group members every month! Exciting, right? I did a scan around the store to scope out what I might like to purchase with my free credit, and I decided on this sweet choker. And that’s when I discovered ANOTHER exciting thing. Yes, it’s a new skin! I dare say that I definitely skin hop more than your average SLer. I know most people pick a skin to be “them” and stick with it, but I want to wear all of the pretty skins! The one that I’m wearing today is from WoW Skins. I’m sure that I’ve mentioned this before, but one of my favorite things about WoW is that the skins come as one piece with both the body and head included. I love that! No seams or neck fixes, no falling in love with a head and then having to try to match the body or pay extra for it. Plus the bodies have really lovely, soft features. I won’t lie, when I saw that Paper+Antler is part of The Saturday Sale today I popped in to see of they had a color set out for free. Spoiler: they do! Even better, there are LOTs of Saturday Sale offerings there today. Additional spoiler: most of those items have a free color available as well.
Let me back up a bit. I’m a little unsure about the naming – I believe that it used to be Grixdale but I think is now Paper+Antler, however some of the items have other store names listed (for example the top that I’m showing says Fox & Paper). The name thing is a little hazy, but don’t let that stop you from visiting. The creator often sets one color out of an item for free. If you’ve not been there, do take a moment to wander around and check the displays for items with free written on them. Those can be yours for nothing and without even needing to join a group.
