Sometimes coming up with catchy titles is tough, so for this post I was inspired by my twin nephews who are two years old; their word for cars is vroom. I found Kenny Rolands recently and was amazed by their unique designs. When you have been in SL for as long as I have, you want something different and unique, the amazing thing is there are so many wonderful and creative designers that you can still find something new even after 13 years. Have you been to the discount area at Siss Boom? It’s enormous, I don’t even know what to call it. Discount room? Floor? Empire? Nomenclature aside, it’s really fabulous and brimming with clothes for between 25L and 50L per item. And it’s Siss Boom so you know they’re gonna be good. I spent a relaxing afternoon flitting around the sales arena, ohhing and ahhing, and one of the things that I came away with was this “dance dress.” It’s priced at just 25L per color and includes an assortment of fitmesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.
And then, well, I’m me so I’m also showing off a new skin. Junho is the new June group gift from Seven Deadly Skins. The gift includes all the skin tones in two versions, with and without eyebrows. One of the great things about 7DS is that the skins come as a single full BOM which includes both the head and the body. So no making sure you’ve got the correct body shade to match, no neck seams, just wear the BOM and you’re done. Easy peasy, lemon squeezey.

I typically wander the grid alone, but I’m still a sucker for a gorgeous gown. I don’t need to actually go dancing, to look like I’m going dancing. Same with this quasi-wedding gown, it’s just plain lovely and sometimes that is enough.

I picked up this dress for freeover at Lurve. It comes with the veil and also the dress so it’s got that wedding feel to it, but you could just as easily wear it (with or without the veil) and dance the night away. It’s sexy while still being classy – the lace at the top is just perfect, it’s tight in all the right places, and you’ve just gotta see the lacing on the back. Yup, I love this gown. Like our fabulous readers, I run out and check out all of Aline’s fabulous finds. She posted about The Beauty Factory’s awesome 1000L credit here, and I had to run over. Wow. What a treat!!! These are unique threads that are so pretty. There are a hot pile of group gifts AND the 1000L bought a few very pretty outfits, too!!! Did I mention the group is FREE??? I love to find pretty things in SL. It makes my heart so happy. I fell in love with these butterflies, and I knew I needed an outfit that would match perfectly. So, I went hunting to one of my favorite stores with lots of free gifts…. Salt & Pepper/The Birdcage! On the day I visited, the group was free, but it’s now up to L300. But…there are a ton of free gifts for VIPS that make that buy in worth it!
My favorite VIP gift is probably the CBD toilet paper because, I mean, who even knew there was such a thing, but I can’t wear TP, so I found this pretty little number called Mary, instead. She has a great HUD for mixing and matching the ribbon and lace. BUT, be sure you have some kind of modesty panty or thong laying about because Mary does not come with one. I am wearing the universal thong from Kaithleen’swhich is also a group gift (the group is 99L to Join)and comes with a sensational HUD.
