Summer breeze makes me feel fine

Hey y’all! I fear that my favorite season might really be coming to an end. Luckily, I found the perfect little outfit to wear while I enjoy every last speck of Summer, before mean old Autumn shows up and invites his even worse pal Winter along.

Belle Epoque has put out a new free group gift and it is seriously fabulous. All of the little details make it stand out from the crowd, like the adorable little ruffles and some really great lacing on the back of the top…and other details that I don’t know the names for because I don’t know how to fashion. But they’re really cute, see? It comes in one size, which is not labeled but which fits my Maitreya body perfectly. The Belle Epoque group is 10L to join and is it worth it? You know it! Besides this, there are a handful of other must-have gifts on the wall in the store.

More Gifts for Men

L’Homme Magazine SL is celebrating its 4th anniversary this month, and 20 of SL’s top designers have set out gifts for members of the L’Homme Magazine Readers Group.

I’m wearing a couple of the gifts today:

• My beard is the gift from Mister Razzor. The Luigi Facial Hair comes in black, grey, and a tintable version for Catwa mesh heads, and black and tintable versions for Omega-compatible heads.
• Kalback set out a fatpack of Sweat Shorts as their gift. They fit Gianni and Jake mesh bodies and come with a HUD containing 8 different underwear patterns and 9 patterns for the pants.

There have been several anniversary parties going on this month so be sure to check the group notices for details.

About the Bike

This cool mountain bike is a gift from Animosity for the Men Only Hunt 11 (MOH11). It includes the Billy Pose Pack with 8 different poses. Animated and non-animated versions of the bike are included.

A Quiet Place

Happy weekend, fabulous readers! 🙂

I’m enjoying some quiet time by the lake this afternoon, but I wanted to pop in for a few moments to tell you about the adorable group gift that was just set out at S@BBiA.

The Sleeveless Blouse & Wrap Skirt-Short Pants come in one mesh size with an alpha layer. The back of the blouse fastens with a button and has a keyhole opening underneath. The wrap skirt-short is actually a “skort”… it looks like a skirt from the front and shorts from the back.

Both pieces can be worn separately.

Ahhhh, Those Dog Days of Summer

Hi Fabulouses!  Now, this is the life…… just lazing around, soaking up some rays, and getting lost in a good book.  What could be better?  Well, how about doing all of the above in an outfit that cost you only 1 little Linden dollar?  Sounds great, doesn’t it?

Sunflowers and Sunshine

My entire outfit, from the jaunty floral top, to the button fly shorts, to the tips of my sunflower dappled sneakers, cost only one Linden dollar and a small investment of time spent searching in the Dog Days of Summer Hunt.  With slender shoulder straps, and pretty ruffled layers, this shirt is sure to brighten even the most cloudy day with its large, cheerful sunflowers scattered across a butter yellow background.  Worn black shorts adorned with a smiling sun on the back pocket help round out the look.  Finally, tip toe sneakers featuring a coordinating pattern add the perfect finishing touch.  To pick up a copy for yourself, all you have to do is teleport on over to The Sissy Bar, and locate the hunt object (which is a small dog house) concealed within the store.  The hunt runs through July 31st, so you still have plenty of time left to do some sleuthing of your own.

Strolling Through a Secret Garden

Hello Fabulouses.  Happy Friday!  I’m popping in with a quick post to share one of the free gifts you can receive as a member of the Fabulously Free in SL group.  It’s such a cute little number!

Stop and Smell the Roses

The sleeveless tank dress in my photo is the latest gift from Glitter.  Featuring a cheerful floral print scattered across a white background, spaghetti straps, and an asymmetrical hemline, this frock was the perfect outfit for a stroll in the secret garden on the Strawberry Lake sim.  The gift package includes versions for a variety of mesh avatars (none for classic avatars).  To scoop up a copy for yourself, head over to the Glitter, make your way to the back of the shop on the other side of the staircase, and click the vendor.  This budget friendly dress is sure to become a summer time favorite!  There are a number of other free gifts available in the shop, and quite a few lucky chairs and a midnight mania board as well.  I’m crossing my fingers that I will be able to share the mania prize soon.

Pretty Posies

To keep with the floral theme, I slipped on some LT Rose Earrings from Torakoun Sands that I discovered on the Marketplace for just 49L.  With three delicate rose blossoms and a pair of leaves, these baubles echoed the print of my new frock beautifully.  The text on the Marketplace listing is right on when it states the earrings are simple yet elegant.  I really like the bright pop of color they add to my look and thought they formed the perfect finishing touch.

Well, Ripley has that “I’m about to dig in the soft earth of this garden” glint in his eyes.  Before he gets us kicked out of the sim, I’d better go put a halt to his plans.  Until my next post, happy shopping!

I’ve been noodling around SL for a few days in this cute summer dress from Ghee.
