Hello There Fab Free’rs, thanks for coming by. It’s my favorite month of the year, and I decided to get a little witch-y with my style because why not?! When else can you get away with an over-sized witch hat as an accessory? In all honesty, the moment I put on this October subscriber group gift from BYRNE, I knew I wanted to wear a hat with it. I didn’t plan on a witch hat at first, but I’m quite pleased with the way things came together. Speaking of October group gifts, these adorable heels are the current group gift at Empire.  And of course I found an inexpensive lipstick by Stellar, that I couldn’t live without. I hope you like this spin on a classic witch look as much as I do!
Starting with the gift from BYRNE, my photos really do not do this mid-length dress justice. There are little details like the high neck, the full sleeves, and the buttons up the front that give the dress an elegant vintage feel. This group gift from BYRNE comes in the rust color shown and a blue color, both in several standard mesh sizes. Also included with this Fabulous FREE gift are a matching pair of goggles for each dress which are not shown in the photos. I don’t think I could have picked a more darling pair of strapped heels to go with this dress. These lovely shoes are the October group gift at Empire. This gift is generous as always in that it includes shoes to fit Maitreya, Slink, TMP, and Belleza mesh feet. Also included is a color change hud that allows you to change each individual part of the shoes, from straps and buckles to sole. These shoes are FREE to all group members, simply join the Empire VIP group and wear your tag. The Empire VIP group has a one time join fee of 499 linden.

Finally, I cannot resist the final touch of a glittery nude lipstick from Stellar. This dollarbie applier gives a subtle shine and tint that is quite pretty and perfect for everyday wear. A fun Marketplace find by Stellar, the lip-color works with Lelutka mesh heads, Omega compatible heads, and includes a classic system layer for non-mesh avatars. Once again, I love the slight change makeup layers allow.

Have Good Vibes & Stay Incognito

When you find yourself smack dab in the middle of a green witches cauldron and dead bodies.. the best thing you can do is give off good vibes and stay incognito.  Perhaps she’ll overlook your presence as she did mine.

Overhigh is having an instore mini hunt and inside the shop you can find three hidden boxes that contain the Bex Top, Jeans Shorts and Knotted Izzie Shirt.  All of these items are free to pick up and they make for a super cute casual outfit for a warm fall season.  I am not sure how long this hunt will last, so put your hunting boots on and head down there ASAP.

It’s the weekend!! Time for some something fun! The most recent group gift at The Sugar Garden is deliciously cute and girly. This hair bow is honestly my favorite part of the whole ensemble. It’s cute, and the textures are really beautifully done.

I want to start this post by stating that I do not wish to spark any debates or discussion about the horrific incident that occurred earlier this month in France. However, I do think that it is important and I want to show these items so that those who wish to show their support are aware that they can do so, even in Second Life.

The phrase “Je Suis Charlie” or “I am Charlie” has become synonymous with the idea of freedom of speech which is something I wholeheartedly believe in. Earlier this week a kind Fab Free reader let me know about this truly beautiful necklace from Lapointe and BastChild. This necklace comes in a male and female version, and includes a resize script. The details are incredible, and I love the addition of the other charms. You can pick it up for FREE right at the Lapointe & BastChild landing point.

In addition to the necklace from Lapointe and BastChild I came across this well done shirt from Stelloane on the Marketplace. The shirt is fully mesh and comes in several sizes. I chose this particular top over a few others that I saw because I liked the open back style with the long sleeves, and I liked that the phrase was in both French and English. The top is also FREE on the Marketplace.

Honestly, I could do an entire weeks worth of posts and then some on generous gifts available in world and on the Marketplace dedicated to this important subject.

To go with my statement top and necklace, I picked up are certain to become my new favorite pair of mesh jeans. First, I’m a sucker for jeans, and I’ve been in need of a new black pair. These jeans are from a shop called 7Mad.Ravens, and they are today’s Saturday sale items. Yes it’s a tad late in the day, but you still have a few hours left to snag them for $75 lindens. I specifically like that they are higher wasted than most jeans, and they have the perfect little flared cuff!

Also a Saturday Sale item, this winged hairstyle from Soonsiki! I love retro hair styles and this very much reminds me of an exaggerated “Farrah Fawcett” style. It too is just $75 lindens today only, so hurry over to Soonsiki to pick it up!

My lovely lolita-esque dress is for The fantasy room, and comes to us from Tiar! The pack also includes, although I’m not wearing them, a pair is cute leopard leggings, pearls for your neck, mouth, and wrists, and 2 different pairs of gloves! What a versatile outfit!

The beautiful rose crown I have atop my lovely head is another fantasy room item, but this time from Persefona! The crown comes in 3 different rose colours, black, red, white! Each crown is $L70, and includes not only the colour shown, but also an extra little surprise.

I’ve also mixed some items from this round of Fit for a princess into this outfit, namely my necklace and bracelet, which are from Frogstar, my nails, which are also from Frogstar, and this beautiful princess-y hair, which is this round’s item from Calico!

Hey Fabulouses! I called on Skyler Fashionista this week to do a joint post with me to show you all four of the outfit options in the latest 25pc. Fishing Prize at Sn@tch called Loose Morals.  Skyler and I had no trouble completing two sets, as we were able to transfer pieces back and forth as well as participate in the Sn@tch inworld group to request pieces and offer extras of our own.  Sn@tch usually does a new fishing prize every couple of weeks, and it’s a great way to build up your inventory with some mix and match pieces.. or collect them for gifts (because all the pieces are transfer!).  The rod will cost you 100L, but you can use it over and over again at any of the 7Seas Fishing Pond.  No bait is required at Sn@tch.

Decorating for “Dummies”

Hey fabbies! I hope you’re having a wonderful easter, if you celebrate it, and if not, I hope you’re having a lovely day! I spent my day with some extended family (the close family gets together next weekend!), and the last few days preparing, and when I logged in today I noticed that Frogstar had ALL new things in their lucky chairs and a whole bunch of brand new dollarbies!

I snagged as many dollarbies and lucky chair prizes as I possibly could, and put them, along with the new dress forms (hence, dummies!) that are group gifts from Remarkable Oblivion, into my cute little “creator’s studio”

While I was out and about, I decided to check out apricot paws and Furry fashions‘ freebies, as well as stalk the luckies at Sn@tch, and boy did I make out like a bandit! I managed to put together an outfit for just $L1 (not including my collar, and such!)!

My adorable monster tee is a freebie from Apricot paws, one of many, actually! The arm warmers I have on won’t cost you a thing but time. You’ll need to camp in a chair for 45 minutes to grab these, but they are texture change and come in a TON of colours, so I think they’re really a steal!

The Bailey legwarmers I’m wearing will cost you a whopping $L1, and are a bunny hunt gift from Furry fashion. These are rigged mesh, come in multiple sizes, and include a whole ton of colours including rainbow! While you’re there, there are 29 other bunnies scattered all over the store for you to find! Each bunny costs $L1, and contains a fabulous prize! Some prizes are older items from the store, one is a set of scripts, and quite a few are brand-spanking-new releases!

A grey and rainy spring day

So spring has finally sprung… and, in my neck of the woods, it has been a rainy, soggy, wet, and icky couple of days… although the weather seems to be improving, and if where you live is anything like where I live, then you might need some wellies, a cute outfit, and a fun umbrella! Luckily, MTC has us covered with their newest midnight mania gift!

The spring shower outfit includes a cute sweater dress in 2 different styles, a pair of black leggings, a black long-sleeve top, wellies, and even a cute umbrella!
